I’ve just picked up an injury at dmp last Monday 30th dec. fractured my lateral femural condyle ( lower femur at my knee) First session of the day 4 laps in some guy tried squeezing past me on tight corner we locked bars ect and I got chucked off put my leg out and bang knee gone. Same story my pre season prep has gone to shit and got mx trip to Spain in 7 weeks season starts in 8 weeks 😬 speedy recovery mate
Ouch. I’ve landed flat a fair few times on that as well it’s proper deceiving, and has a nice lip. It didn’t help you landed right on that acceleration bump as well, 2 foot further or 3 foot less you may have been okay, heal up well dude.
Good bit of riding mate I just switched bikes myself I had a 2020 yz250f for my first bike it was nice and easy to ride but I wanted to try a 2 smoker so I bought a 2022 yz125…
That jumps well known for that awful jump so easy to over jump and flatland. Quick tip take it or leave it but good supsension set up to you weight and ability and set of top boots tech 10s or sg12/22s this wouldnt of happened with how you landed it no panic or bail just rode it out unfortunate with bad suspenion under you.
No it’s just stock. However, I won’t be riding that bike again as I’m getting a new one so I’ll be getting the suspension setup on that…. Was in novice at DMP, probably go inters next time
@ get your suspension set up to your weight it’s an massive help if you have good suspension that’s all you need on a bike sorry I meant for racing what class are you in
Dam bro get well soon ❤

Do you prefer the 125 to the 250f?
Of course heavily depends of the injury type, but I had minor fracture in ankle medial malleolus and was carefully on the bike four weeks after
Hoping to be back February!

Thanks for the tip mate. Picked up some Tech 10s and getting a new bike this year so will get suspension done to suit
just a suggestion stiffen up your suspension you'll lose some comfort but will mostly be able to ride away from mistakes like that. enjoy!
Thanks for the tip, will definitely give that a try when I’m next there
Is your suspension set up? What class are you in too?

I've entered into C class for next year. Never raced before so don't really know my level
the crfs are a proper handful at fat cats not really the best bike for sand it’s either non or full with the 250
That place looks slippy ass
