I have my framed art hanging in my craft room, and it still looks great! Pressed flowers will fade a little more, but a lot depends on where you place your art. Try to keep it away from sunlight to prevent the colors from fading.
Hi! I love this! I planted some beautiful flowers this summer, including some zinnias. I think I will use your wonderful tutorial to try this with them! Sounds like fun!
So nice to find your video. I've tried hammering leaves and flowers with no success in the past and disappointed with results. Your suggestion for using a brush pen to add highlights to composition is very helpful. I'm now more comfortable in continuing this journey. thank you.
Thank you for your tutorial. Love it!!! I would like to try your technique on fabrics for totes, t-shirts, ...How to preserve the colors when washing the item? Thank you. ❤Kind regards, Aurore
Thank you, Aurore! I have some information on doing this technique with fabric. I hope to do another video to show you, but in the meantime, you can read more here: www.firstdayofhome.com/flower-pounding/
Of course! These are the pens I like. They are great for calligraphy as well. amzn.to/444bCWA I’m not sure where I bought that particular tape, but these are similar: amzn.to/4485IE2. I hope this helps!

What flowers do you use to get red color.
I used roses.
❤
May I know what pen did you use and the tape?Thank you so much.

@@FirstDayofHome thank You!
You’re welcome!😊
Can you use card stock paper?
I think it could get a little soggy, but maybe you can give it a try with a small sample flower?🤷🏻♀️ Thicker cardstock in a neutral color may work.
Ok thanks!
iNK ?!! There is no ink coming from the flowers
Are you making a point about semantics, or are you having trouble with the craft?
your flowers must be moist chives make good stems and geraniums red peach lovely true strong color
