You could use the basic Adrenaline without the Bluetooth monitoring and add a Insight CTS for monitoring, yes. But Quadzilla offers a great monitoring system as well if you have a Apple or Android phone.
Hi i was having some issues with engine it started laggin/shaking after i ran out diesel i purged out the lines and when my quad is connected it does it but its on stock it dont do it...thinking my lift pump when out (stock) any feedback?
I know this is a four year old video, but anyone searching and wondering about these, I have in in my 01 Cummins dually that I installed in 2010. Excellent upgrade both in power and fuel economy and has never given me a kick off trouble aside from the control pod buttons. I'd love to find a Bluetooth adapter sitting in the drawer of a guy's toolbox he'd let go for a case of beer or so..
I have a cummins with 2002 with 84 thousand original miles of 24 valves in what number do you recommend? I never use it for loading, I have never pulled a truck with it, I just use it normally
You want to tow on lower number tunes and unloaded try each tune to see how the truck responds and what gets you the best fuel economy. Read your owners manual and make sure that you have a aftermarket lift pump for adequate fuel pressure.
I have run mine at max level for over a decade now towing or not. You still control things with your throttle. Pick the level you like and drive it. Just keep the egts in check.
So I just got an 01 24v and it came with a quadzilla adrenaline with the control box rather than a monitoring system. Is there any way I can buy just the monitor system? I haven't been able to find just the monitor system. The 10 preprogrammed tunes are nice but I have oversized injectors and it's making my truck smoke for miles before boost comes in and clears things up
Is there a variation that comes with a monitor or after market monitor that can be used with it? OTHER THAN a phone tablet. Just want it to be hooked up to power source And not kill the battery or have to wait for a phone that’s dead to charge up..
We do offer the Adrenaline with the Control Pod, which is a small plastic device that displays power level and a few parameters like EGT, Boost, and trans temp, and allows you to toggle through the power levels. So it monitors very basic parameters and could be what you are looking for.
Tuners are tools. And just like any tool, if they aren’t used correctly, they will produce unintended results. Used correctly, any tuner will not decrease the life of your engine.
VP this is all he says , all he wants to do is sell shit for the vp44 he says that for sales all the time the injection pump is perfectly fine most fail on their own . Mine has stacked tuners and it has 300k
Hi there I have a 99 f450 with the 7.3 in it. Now i use it as a work truck. I have a 4 car trailer that I haul with the truck and it's all stock I dont want to go crazy with it but I am wanting to get a little more kick to it so that it doesn't drag too much. But I dont want to ruin the trany or motor. What do u recommend as to something I can install with out worrying to break anything like trany or motor
Even though some performance add on are “light” performance, you still have drive cautiously when towing. I do suggest a switchable module for the 7.3 so that you can turn the power down when towing. Quadzilla makes a switchable chip for the 7.3’s called an Arachnid. See them here: www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/quadzilla-arachnid-8-position-chip/
Both boxes make great horsepower. The Quadzilla if you choose an Adrenaline with IQuad or BT, you get all the monitoring capabilities. With the Comp, you would have to pair it with an Insight to get the same abilities.
Is there a monitor I can buy for h This instead of having to use my phone ? In case say my phone dies on the way home and maybe I’d like to throw the eco tune I make so I can save a little fuel ?
I swapped the edge out for the quad many years ago shortly after it came out. Hands down blows edge away by a lot! I still have one of the first beta tunes on as well. After all these years it is still doing its job and never leaves Max level. How ever I wouldn't buy anything from thoroughbred diesel I'd find a better retailer. These people are a joke to deal with!
I have the old quadzilla adrenaline with the pulse v2 monitor and I love it!!
Jason Hunt hows the mpg on performance levels
I get 20 mpg...I turned the timing up and the best I have gotten on highway was 23 mpg.
I got it and really enjoy having it I don't usually leave comments but I suggest if have a Cummins it's well worth the money.
Where is a place you can buy these in Canada?
Can you use the cts3

Is Quadzilla out of business?

If you have a stock lift pump on a truck with a Quadzilla Adrenaline on it, we suggest that you upgrade your lift pump immediately.

Can you make a video about the custom tuning part
We shall see what we can do for ya. 🤔

Yes, if you have a control pod you can upgrade to the Bluetooth system to monitor. We offer the upgrade here: www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/iqps/
@@thoroughbreddiesel can you guys also make a video installing the boost fooler from quad too?
If your order the adrenaline v2 with the controller can you buy the IOS adapter and plug it in?
Yes! Part number IQPS will get you converter over. Give us a call 855-823-5514.
I have a 2001 5.9L, which quad is the best for me
If I put a double dinn stereo with CarPlay is the an app for that screen I wonder?
I don’t have experience with this but I remember seeing someone on a forum got it to work.
Works with an F650 with Cummins ISB 185?
No, it will not.

Interested in this but ive heard of tuners possibly blowing up engines or just causing faster wear

Can i change tire size with the control pod model, or would i have to get the bluetooth model
No, you will need the non control pod version.
Will this work on a 99 F800 Ford, truck came with a vp44 Cummins.
Do you have the link for the custom tune download area from quadzilla? It won’t load for me
quadzillapower.com/adrenaline-custom-tuning-guide/
Can you still use a edge insight to monitor your temps instead of having to use your phone?
Yep sure can
How do you get the adrenaline to not stick wide open ? Because it's a little bit unhandy when you let off and it just stays wide open
We haven’t had anyone with that complaint but that totally isn’t normal or safe. Reach out to Quadzilla or us to see what we can do to help you.
@@thoroughbreddiesel I took care of the problem I put it in the trash can that's $755 down the drain but that's better than being dead

I want one but I did replace a bad ecm with a superchips tune I want the power but I don’t want to sacrifice a obsolete part
I feel like this is a safer option as it actually does not reprogram the ECM.

I have 99 super duty 7.3. I have Hydra it has 5 settings. I run it set at 5 it woke it up tremendously!!
You buy a dodge...
Any chance they will be CARB APPROVE ?
Not at this time.
Hey wade, what do you personally think about the edge comp vs the quad?
Brandon Livers quad all day long
Quadzilla over the edge!!

Quad is better hands down

You can actually just purchase the control pod units. You can monitor as many parameters but you still get switchable power.
