Wanna say thank you your the only person to take the time to explain it and go over everything and go slow with it and show how to do it this is the most helpful video thank you sir
I think i let it high idle until it hit 140 degrees then shut off. I never set mine on high idle much though because i only drive the truck in the summer.
It does come with 10. When you alter in custom tuning you can choose how many levels you want. I think you can go from 5 to 15. In this tune i have it is only 5. You are still getting the same amount of power it is just divided into more levels. To make it simple level 1 is factory then you have 4 levels left. 2 25% 3 50% 4 75% and 5 100%. So if you split it into ten it would just move in smaller percentages for every power level you go up.
@@Schneids15 ah ok...gotcha, this is all new to me. Hopefully I'll be doing the install soon, its deciding to just tap the VP or go with that stealth cover instead. Thanks for the reply.
I could hit 40-45 psi. Too much for the hx35 so i gated it at 38psi. I just studded the truck yes. I think it was a little overkill studding it but now i won’t worry. I like peace of mind.
Thanks for the information what studs did you go with I’m guessing arp? I found some xotic head studs and they seem decent but not sure I’m running a 62mm stock appearance turbo waste gated and 150 injectors with a 165 fass and making 28 pounds which I don’t know if that’s low on the set up I’m running or not
That seems low i would mess with your waste gate for sure. That extra boost will really help clean up the smoke from those injectors. I went with xotic head studs. I talked to austin at ACE diesel and he works on these trucks for a living and recommends the xotic. That was enough for me to buy them. I never found one bad review on them yet.
Looks like I’ll get those head studs as well and I was surprised on how many good reviews they have and there almost half the price I was thinking about getting arp 625s but I’ll definitely save money on the xotics
I seen no issues with quality. Some guys torque to 150 instead of 125 with factory bolts but i didn’t want to chance it. I think it was about 300$ Canadian for me. I tool one bolt out and replaced them that way. Then no need to pull the head off.
Too bad no tunes come with it. If had known I would not have wasted my money. The bs tune on quadzilla site didn't do dick for my 5.9. Go past level 2 it just starts surging and bucking. I personally don't want to spend my weekend figuring it out and I'll be damn if I'll pay for tunes to put on tuner.
There is tunes they just are not good. You can buy it and not get the v2 software and get preloaded quadzilla tunes if you wish. Then you don’t have to pay to buy any. Josh

Did you know if you can change from mph to kph
Where did you get your tubes
My high idle doesn’t turn on in the morning do you know why that is
In your settings you can set it to on and set what temp it comes on at. Will only work in certain modes. I think mine only works on level 0.
@@Schneids15 what temp do you have yours at

Where's part2 with some pulls & review vs the edge??
Do you have to have your phone connected all the time?
No you don’t. It will work with your phone disconnected also
Can you pls tell me where's the website to buy tunes?

How much boost are you running? And do you have head studs
