The Spanish guitar in “middle of the night” is actually a beautiful piece called “Asturias” by Isaac Albeniz. Whoever wrote “middle of the night” didn’t write the Spanish guitar.
Middle of the Night messes up the beautiful guitar piece Spanish Caravan by The Doors uses better that main part as an inspiration and tribute to Spanish music and culture

Yes, yes , yes, but a shit tone of rock were essentially muzak, stive is a 90s kid and he always showed love for lots of pop punk and 2010 metalcore, which are some of the worst things that cane out of rock. I think pop music is getting better lately.Except from cardi B I don't know a single very popular singer who has stupidly bad music.
The BMTH version of bad habits actually gets really good after the first verse and chorus, Oli does a great job with his verses and has a pretty sweet screaming section at the end.
I definitely agree with you. Most if these songs aren't my cup of maple syrup. However somehow Blinding Lights ended up on my radar, I guess I do enjoy the 80's vibe it has. Lyrically speaking, the 90s was by far the best era, but I tend to listen to the early 2000s era the most simply because I'm intrigued by how creative the producers got with their beats. Just listen to the early stuff by DJ Blass (Reggaeton Sex vol 2 and 3), yeah the lyrics are silly, but those beats man, nothing has sounded like that ever since. Plan B's first album, "El Mundo De Plan B", also has some godly beats.

Nice to meet you Jake!! I was honestly surprised. I was expecting to hear at least a couple rock songs!! The Maneskin song was the ONLY one that could even be considered as rock! Haha!
Prolly because those songs were hella overplayed. I usually listen to 90s pop punk and grunge but I can’t stand teen spirit because I’ve heard it 9 million times. Song is still a banger too bad although I sometimes wish it had a deeper meaning to it than just a album filler.
Most of the old stuff probably has some specific reason or other, though. Eminem and Dr Dre could be due to renewed interest because of Superbowl, for example.

@@Digital_PeterGriffin I disagree with the "blindly" part. It's plain to see by anybody with a basic knowledge of music theory and/or appreciation for the creative arts that most (with a very few exceptions) of these songs consist of a cheap Casio beat, stupidly simple melody, and generic lyrics about hot/cold, shallow romance... shallow, empty, meaningless fluff with no substance that is meant to inspire people to ogle at each other sexually at clubs while half intoxicated on weekends, which usually leads to poor decisions and regrets.

Actually that Maneskin "Beggin You" is pretty cool. The singer's voice is very rock.
But mainstream rock. Like the soft pop side of music
nope
Måneskin is technically a rock band. If you listen to their songs from their album "Teatro D'ira Vol. 1" it is completely rock based.
They’re my favorite band right now. Personally beggin never moved me, I stumbled upon I wanna be your slave and I loved the silliness and the sexual energy it possesses. I found the rest of their music and I’m forever in love.
Honestly, Beggin is not even near my personal favourite of Maneskin, probably Chosen, Moriro da re or Fear for nobody
The Spanish guitar in “middle of the night” is actually a beautiful piece called “Asturias” by Isaac Albeniz. Whoever wrote “middle of the night” didn’t write the Spanish guitar.
Middle of the Night messes up the beautiful guitar piece
Spanish Caravan by The Doors uses better that main part as an inspiration and tribute to Spanish music and culture
I thought the Spanish guitar wouldn't have been out of place in a System of a Down song.
I'll take Classical Guitarist John Williams Playing "Asturias" for 1100 Tyler! That Major-Phrygian/double harmonic major scale (Spanish/Arab mode) found in most Rock, Metal, Progressive Rock . . . .

You know, for having found some old stuff in a top 100 it's really weird not to see Enter Sandman or Smell Like Teen Spirit in the list.
