A Small Fix-Up on the MPC 2500!

- I wanted to open up my MPC and change the pads but also took the time to check underneath to see if there was anything else that needed to be done.
Also, I had to use some Deoxit to fix a small crackling issue.

Question: can you please do a video on how to save beats from the mpc to the memory card.

No need for a video really. If you want to save to the Memory Card, just go Mode -> Pad 3 (save), then highlight the top right where it says Hard Disk and change it to Memory Card. Then you can save your project.

I was using this as background noise and thought somehow it switched to soft pron lol.
Which Jog wheel you have? Is that a 2000xl from mpc stuff? Or is it the 2500 jog wheel - in black?
I got the replacement board from MPC Stuff and they now offer the 2000XL jog wheel! You can get just the jog wheel I think. Maybe email them just to be safe.

What cables do you use on this model to sample is it the audio av cables or digital cables?
1/4 inch cables. I haven't used the digital ones on the 2500.
