I am still liking this new format but this time the receptive music in the background did start to get on my nerves…not sure if it was just too loud or too repetitive (or both)…LOL but overall great job with this update! ❤
Definitely both, not helped by the fact that Kevin Macleod and all the other big sources of public domain music are now better known than most top 40 artists, meaning I “knew” this song and was humming along with it 😂
Really enjoy this format, keep up the good work! Only point of improvement I'd recommend is adjusting the sound mixing so it's easier to hear the reviews over the loud music.
Prefer this format alot. Feels like the actual review is alot more clear on what people think of the food without the flip flopping on a live reation. That and we dont have to stare at somone chewing.
Eric and WDWNT team - I really like the new format option. I do think you need to have more stock tasting footage shown with the initial bite and raw reaction. Production adjustment can bring a chef’s kiss to the alternate format.
I don’t know why Disney can’t find a decent Italian Chef at any of their Italian restaurants to make good food. The only exception is Via Napoli in Epcot, because they have people from Italy running it.
I like this new format and appreciate the more scripted post-meal VO work. The only thing I'd recommend is maybe get a second voice in on the videos to either have more of a conversation with or maybe break it up between dishes/courses a bit. I like Eric and his commentary (so nothing against him specifically) but I really enjoyed the banter he and Tom had in the old style of tasting videos. :)
I don't care for the narration style. Just seems like Eric's reading an article. I like the "live" sampling because you get everyone's reaction, not just an overall people dislike or like this. It's also seems like more work for Eric to read but I get that it's easier on the editing process. This seems too DFB for me.
I love Disney don’t get me wrong going April 22 however $15 for mozzarella (5) that’s wrong on so many levels I still believe Sci Fi dine in theater is still best bang for your buck in regards to sit down restaurants
I really really like this new format, please keep it for these smaller menu reviews! I still stand by loving the Tom and Eric (and sometimes Nana) goofball hour we get at the festivals but a basic menu change seems to warrant something exactly like this. I know more about the food but still get to see my favorite WDWNT folks! Having just had a fantastic buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad at Shanghai Disney, that one they have is such a wildly off balance thing just looking at it!
I am so upset that they got rid of the 4 cheese pasta with shrimp or chicken, hands down best pasta at that restaurant, atleast they left the calamari if they would have got rid of that I would have revolted lol
I hope you guys keep a mix of these types of reviews and the live reaction reviews with Tom and Eric. Both are great. But Eric does need a better pop filter. Those Ps are Poppin
If Eric did the show all the time, I would start watching again. He i so down to earth and not like somebody else who thinks everything has to be 5 star
Our family ate there three weeks ago, as it has been a family favorite over the years with past good service and actually good food, especially for our Celiac family members. Unfortunately, the table service on the most recent visit was mediocre and the food was like the service. It actually seemed and tasted worse than the big "Italian" chains. Freshness was a question for us. We left disappointed with the overall experience.
I’m torn. While I love that you guys are experimenting with formats on the food videos, I also love when you go item by item and eat in front of the camera so I can see a live reaction. The way you described the goat cheese mousse tart was visceral. I would’ve loved to see the tasting of that in real time. Your descriptive abilities are powerful for sure, but facial expressions upon tasting speak volumes. Keep up the great work!
Correct. Things like spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parm and chicken cutlet are not Italian food. They are Italian-American creations basically nobody in Italy eats.. However, the restaurant presents itself as Italian, and the dishes should be familiar to most Americans who have eaten “Italian” food.
Like the new format. I never really cared for watching people eat. I know some folks like watching people's reactions, but the words and reactions didn't always match imo.
Not against experimenting while Tom is gone in Japan, but I will admit, the vlog style of food reviews are better. Just feels like the written review on the WDWNT is being read back to me and no personal feelings from anyone in the video beyond facial emotions as they have no audio during the review. Don’t mind it for now, would like to see it revert back once Tom returns to Florida full time at the latest.
The presentation on all the "flour-made" dishes left too much to be desired. The kitchen should work harder. LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING. Ingredients were scarce in those flatbreads. Only good dishes were the main courses with meat and fish. Even the desserts looked not appealing enough.
I watched the review and found it to be very wishy-washy!! Take the burrata for instance. >>>"This dish suffers from an imbalance of ingredients, as there is not enough burrata and a plethora of underwhelming tomatoes. While the burrata itself is decent, it is just half a ball. Anywhere else I’ve ordered burrata, you get a whole ball. The tomatoes were also not the fresh, ripe wedges this dish requires, but instead, they were the mealy, somewhat flavorless hothouse-grown type. Overall, the execution of this dish leaves much to be desired. With some adjustments to the proportions and quality, this salad could shine.
Eric has been busting his ass! Love it! You’re doing great man!
This review style is fantastic! I hope the numbers are showing that.
Love this style with the beginning commentary

15$ for those mozz sticks is highway robbery
Eric is killing it
Sounds like they need to find a new chef again 😂😂😂
This was a great video and I didn't feel like you were competing w/ the music this time. This is a great way to cover a lot of food.
Thank you for this. I have reservations in 2 days and was very curious about the new menu. I can't wait to try it.
Give Eric a Raise
Nice review, Eric!
Really enjoying the new presentation of food and Eric is knocking it out of the park

Eric is crushing it. Tom who? J/K!

Great review!
LOVING this format!!!

Love how you are doing the reviews
Love this!! Thank you all 😊
I had a Chicken Parmesan there in the early 2000s that was actually pretty good. But now I think Via Napoli at Epcot is a better choice.
If Eric did the show all the time, I would start watching again. He i so down to earth and not like somebody else who thinks everything has to be 5 star
Like the festivals, I'd love to see a best and worst of.
Great review, do you ever review the gluten free options?
Love how you all take one for the team….do I need to call an ambulance? I can. I have free calling after 8pm. Can you make it til then?
Loving this new approach. We don't need to see you eating and the commentary is solid
I think we found the old garlic bread from Tony's. These reviews are great - well-written!

I like this video format!
I prefer the "live" reaction/review videos, Eric's reading from a script voice always comes across as fake and reminds me of DFB
$15 for 5 mozzarella sticks! Cheesus!
Watching your team go through this makes me thankful that I work in an office
Eric Morton! 🙌

Shrimp Campanelle was my go to meal at mama melrose😢
5 relatively small mozzarella sticks for 15$. Oh man this inflation is gettting old
Stop calling that Italian Food, it’s not!

Apparently the new chef isn’t doing much to help the food
These appetizers look worse than something I would get at olive garden at half the price. I dont understand how this restaurant still stands
ahh thanks for reminding me not to waste money on this place.
Stouffers garlic bread
Always order New York strip steak. It is always delicious. I could eat 2

Awesome review, but my goodness this place is still so disappointing. Italian food is not that difficult to get right and they got most of this wrong.
I prefer the other format rather than the voice over. I'd rather watch you all eat and react. This is like a commercial.

Goat cheese....😧
