Back in my day they had a radio contest to win one this was back when I was in highschool that when they were for fun if you was one to have been in school at that time you know it brings back memories ❤
What up with non-optional hood tach (for GTO and '69-'70 Grand Prix 4-speed)) with automatic transmission? At least no louvres but superfluous chin and tacked on spoiler spoiling the original lines of quite possibly the best styled Mustang of all time. BTW, original factory glass far superior to OEM.
Holy batcave, gourgeus super superb stunning mustang mach 1 just so beautiful, wow wow, thanks mr president and russel for perfect photografy from Tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊😊😊
ok, very nice, however, wrong instrument cluster. Mach 1's had dash tach. Never had FACTORY hood tach. Original gears are not in the car, the radio is aftermarket, Shock tower braces are also very nice, but would not come from factory in chrome. Sometimes the little beauty marks are what detract from the judges. These are things that take points away from a BEAUTIFUL car.
When you start picking cars apart that tells you right there you can't afford it in the first place reminiscing down memory lane that you might have had one but I guarantee you can't afford this one
C6 Ford automatic transmissions were happy with Manuel shifts. The reason? Forged steel sun and planetary gears. In fact the stock C6 automatic was used in Nascar racing extensively.
I scanned the comments and your the only one whocaught this. I completely agree, the engine has a stumble or miss in it when he started it and rapped the throttle. Beautiful car, but exhaust note is wrong.
Louvers are after market. They do stop sun damage through the huge flat rear window but seriously effect visibility and add weight. I myself love all three back windows to have louvers.
@dennistone8710 are you a multimillionaire? Having taken over a business from your father and bought and sold thousands and thousands of cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, airplanes? Do you know what its like to employ hundreds of people? Mechanics, painters, bodymen, and salesmen? Own warehouses, and museums? Think about it!
@@caledoniawarrior No, I got nothing handed to me from my father, I created my own business, yes, I know what it is like to be an employer, I employed hundreds of engineers and ran businesses for profit. I am not questioning the success of the business or it's owner, which obviously is impressive, I am merely questioning the specific knowledge of Fords of that vintage based on the comment of "Track Pack" which everyone should know is a Mopar option, instead of the correct term "Drag Pack" which was a Ford option. People read or hear these things on the internet and take them for gospel. Being a successful business owner, he should know that details matter.

You had me sold until I seen the automatic
I'm stick all the way when it comes to a muscle car
Sharp looking Ford. Thanks Jay!

Looks like a brand new car.🥰👍
My buddy had one of those. Even in gold. Wonderful car.
Restored with precision and perfection 🐎
Everything is looking really good on this Mustang. I know it's over $100,000.00, I'd be shocked if it's not.❤
Beautiful Mustang!!!!!!!

Looks and sounds great! All that power but no power brakes, could be trouble.

Love 69 and 70 ❤cool body style 😎
love the color
Looks fast sitting still
Wow. Nice. Looks like my first car.
Gorgeous car.
Beautiful 😍
No drain on scoop, the power steering pump kills me, very nice.
Maybe worth more than what their into it. 70k
My favorite ❤️👍👍👍
Dream car right here
Beautiful except for the hood tach. Never had those.
Absolutely.. knocks the look down abit having that tach
It was a dealer-installed option, but pretty rare
@@jeffreygunn3530 - yeah I thought it might have been but just doesn’t look right to me (course I’m no expert)
@@richarddevoe5871 I certainly wouldn't have put it on there, but they did exist
It's better than strapped to something else, almost.
I need this 😢
What is the red wire coming into the right side (passenger) heater core area?
My favorite car 🚗
If I had money, tell ya what I'd do. I'd go to Volo and buy a car or two.
I'm a Vette guy, but this one really calls to me. Too bad it's an automatic. 😢 Save the Wave 👋
So many cars, so little money. Lol
👍🔥😎🔥👍
For all the money J has, and I know he has tons, he is a penny wise dollar short
LOVE IT...AAAAAAA
What color is that
Please tell us how much!?
It’s in the listing.. 🤦♂️
If u gotta ask, u can't afford it. :)
Switched the 4: 30 gears to....?
A more street ready gear…
Switched to 3.40 gears. 2400 rpm at 65 mph. The stock 430 would be turning the engine at 3900 rpm at 65 mph.
Would be a great car to have but that automatic transmission would have to go for a 4 speed toploader in its place
cardboard in trunk?

Dash tach was an option, even on the 428 cars. Probably added the hood tach because it didn't have the in dash option
No one can tell about this for twenty eight coveragebut would you go on about fifty miles an hour durlich
Beautiful… except for the transmission. A car like that calls for a clutch. And why the need for an in-hood tach on an automatic?
C6 Ford automatic transmissions were happy with Manuel shifts. The reason? Forged steel sun and planetary gears. In fact the stock C6 automatic was used in Nascar racing extensively.
Check the Marti report, NO tach never came with it, looks terrible.
Looks great. But TBH it sounds a little janky. Sorry. Rattle, not real smooth. Dissapointing. Hope its just me.
I scanned the comments and your the only one whocaught this. I completely agree, the engine has a stumble or miss in it when he started it and rapped the throttle. Beautiful car, but exhaust note is wrong.
Stripes to low on side
No rear window louver
Louvers are after market. They do stop sun damage through the huge flat rear window but seriously effect visibility and add weight. I myself love all three back windows to have louvers.
Every things great except for the automatic trans.
No tach ???? Thats not right
Oh there it is on the hood .... sorry !!!
20 lashes with a wet noodle. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
track pack???? really? do you know anything about Mustangs???Or Fords??
He knows more than you will ever know.
