WHAT A BEAUTY there was a place in mascot sydney australia who allways had 30 or 40 javlins in their car yard for 25+ years,, the 390 and sometimes 401 cars were partly assembles in Australia right hand drive. Australia was the last place in the world to be still assembling AMC/Ramblers, hornets and matadores long after the production in America closed. These cars are super reliable and fast and rare in Any country. VERY well priced classic that can lay down some rubber no problem. These cars done very very well in Road Racing in America when new and took on the Z/28,s and Factory backed mustangs and won.
Guys, I think for 30K, this is a nice car, you just don`t see them anymore, it`s a bear finding parts, this one doesn`t need any, great entry level cruiser, lets face it 30K is entry level today, I love it, i`m putting some blue touch up on it, and driving it all day.
The add for those cars used to show a father sitting in AMC and the son in ragged jeans barefoot they had a supercharger and blower and red and blue stripes on the vehicle. The AMX was white if that car had a four speed it would really sell fast . The nice thing about those cars are they don’t take up room they go in a garage for storage. Beautiful car well kept . I would add a back camera and air conditioner. That’s a head turner .
Let me get this straight ... @ 8:12 you do not have to use the electric fuel pump? So there is a mechanical fuel pump and an electric fuel pump both feeding into the fuel delivery system? That's "wild stuff" as Johnny Carson would say. I thought FI Tech required the use of an electric fuel pump to support the pressure needed for their systems.
Friend had one back in the day very cheaply made especially for that time all plastic inside motor definitely did not sound like that and thin metal body

Haven't seen one of these for YEARS!
I'd LOVE to have this in my garage. ❤
Almost bought the 68 , instead got a 74 cuda but always thought this was the best looking car
Good luck in finding part.
That is a beautiful AMC!! 😍
The 390 was a monster
Awesome. Remember playing inside one in my dads chicken barn converted to car storage. I was 10, at 57 I dream about owning one. Someday…

Very cool car love the sporty look of it
Last of the Nash men .
I love this car
I had a friend whose brother had one of these. It was quick!!!
Nice stance 😊
I would buy it, it's the lack of an extra garage to be built is the problem.
Sweet ride 😊
So what is the build number? The crome tab on center counsel will tell you.

All that work and couldn’t paint the underside of the hood ?
It's a mop and glow . I'd want to look at the body real close on this one.
I put efi on mine not really happy with it yet.
We don't know what's going on under that paint... but if you're good the way it is, enjoy!

That’s gorgeous, trade you my 2008 5.0 super charged jaguar xkr for it
Should have slicks with keystone klassics
That is not a "69 AMC color.
If it had a FORD REAR, and Chevy engine/trans’ Moi’ plus the World 🌎 would be in🙌😹
The sound was ok but they were always in my rear view mirror
Well, that is not '69 AMX color.
Looks like some rust underneath the hood.
LOL 😀
