I have a set of conforming Indi wedges (as well as one of thier putters) and I have been very pleased with them. I am tempted to get on of the wedges that isn't conforming just for the fun of it.
I use an old King Cobra Forged CB 50° from 2003. Legal grooves and still spins like crazy with a new tour issue S200 shaft. This is my go to club from 105y to 130y. Everything sticks!
Price is kind of outlandish. Cleveland RTX were selling for like 130$ when i got a couple this year. Plus DTC brands(sub70) have forged/milled wedges for 125$. You can save money buying clubs from one of the best producers of wedges in the game. I dont see it
I have a 48deg wedge and love the feel of it. Nice soft feel no matter if I go full swing or pitch shot. I might replace my 56deg Cleveland with another Indi
I'm curious what wedge setup people are using. I have a G 49 degree, then 52, 56, 60. Lately I've kind of benched the 60 and utilize the 56 for almost anything 50 yards or so in, front the greenside bunkers, and around the green. Interesting topic wedges.
@@jcnz84 interesting, I felt like I was "skulling" my 60 around the greens, could only really use it in the trap so went to learning to hit my 56 out of the bunkers and around the green more. May be the turf on our course. Which it seems with so many options for bounce/loft etc with wedges, the turf plays a big part.
@@andynaz5631 61 sounds floppy, I've seen the 64 mack daddy's cannot fathom how people use them or where. I don't know that I've seen a 61 live in person, will have to look next time I'm at a golf store.
@toddkirch613 hey good luck with that. I used to buy and sell golf equipment daily and man has PXG'S resale gone down. Hopefully you love them and wear them out. I haven't bought anything new in a long time...👍
I used to play with a guy that taped abrasive emory paper to his sand wedge. Spin was not a problem, but the ball carcass was good for maybe two full wedge shots. Need spin, I just saved ya 159.00
I cannot understand the mentality that 'demands' golfers who are playing social competition only, must conform to the same rules as the Pros and those playing PGA sanctioned/affiliated competitions. You dont do that when playing social baseball, tennis, darts or football in the park - why golf? The wife and I play social every week - we no longer play competition golf. Preferred lies (including in bunkers) - Mulligans (max 2 per 9) - 2 putts max when greens under repair - less than club length is auto gimme putt - no extra penalty shot when lose ball (that is enough penalty) just drop near point of entry and go - change ball whenever wanted (try another brand next shot and/or next hole). When playing social golf why be penalised because some ahole did not replace divot or left footprints in the bunker? We play a few Pro-ams now and then (both have hcps) - and only then do we play by the official rules. Amazes me some people trying to play golf shots out of a hole on a social golf course - and all the other silly things they do.
Never spend a dime on fake clubs, ever. When you buy premium, yes, you pay more but, if you ever decide to sell them, you will have a good chance of making a few dollars....but, nobody is going to buy a fake, used wedge. Besides, cheating is for losers!

I have the same setup but I definitely like my 60 over my 56 and even the 52 depending on the distance. Just seems more workable to me personally.
46, 50, 54, 61. 61°on fast greens is mandatory.

I have an approach, a 60, and a pitching wedge.
I bought a Cleveland 56 recently and the bounce has two surfaces. I'm not sure why, and I don't like it because i blade a lot of shots with it.
Good grief 160.00 each? Negatory
Just paid $350 each for my wedges from PXG. Seems cheap to me

Great video
What’s up buddy!!! You’re out here in SD a lot…. U didn’t move over here did u??
Non confirming grooves only help in wet conditions. Other then that they usually spin less.
the back weighting sure looks like something borrowed from PXG (or vice versa).
You did much better with your PXG wedges during the fitting

There's a difference in sound too I hear
48,52,54,58. In my bag
You should do a cheapest private golf clubs.
Look good but no lefty options...
I want the spin from skill,, I’ll never be a pro.. I’ll get them to keep my money. 😂

Mate, I don't care what rules I play by, and yours sound just fine, provided we all play by the same rules.
@@GreenDistantStar I assume you mean all play the same rule when playing together - then AOK by me to.
@@AussieBob999 yes, that's just fine in social golf.
Thumbs down to not having lefty model and thumbs down on price for a non conforming wedge
