I switched to all Cobra clubs in my bag this year, and i am loving them. I went with same length irons trying to ease my bad back so i woudn't be bending over as much . All good.
Always love seeing the experience videos and then seeing how they do on the course in 1 video. Never gamed cobra either but never say never if I haven’t tried!
Awesome! Thank you for doing this wonderful video. I agree the sound of the cobra irons and woods is incredible, it’s something I’ve noticed when Bryson Dechambeau also hits his irons, they sound perfect. Great content, thanks for bringing us the fitting as well.
MMT shafts are awesome. I got fitted with those shafts in TaylorMade P790's a couple of years ago. Couldn't be happier with that combo.
Fitter also talked me into ditching my 4-iron (which I usually hit quite well), and replaced it with Stealth 4-hybrid, which has become one of my favorite clubs. At least the same distance of my old 4-iron, but flies higher and lands more softly.
Planning on getting a fitting this year and in the Atlanta area. Any recommendations, Matt?
Was fitted also and ended up with the ForgedTec MMT 90S irons. Love....Have had Cobra woods with Ventus Blue 6s for 3 years now. Best woods I have ever hit in my 40 years of playing golf.

If you ever go back remember all the uphill shots play at least a club longer. Love Cobra and love the Ross. Great video.
new clubs looked and sounded great. played Cobra back in 90's and early 2000's, really enjoyed them.
Love this. Played the forged tecs last year and got fit for a combo set of the cbs with tours in 4 and 5 for this year. Will say they ding/scratch up really really fast.
Would highly consider cobra wedges but… they just don’t offer enough lefty options. (As do almost all companies except Vokey/Titleist)

I still have my Cobra clubs from 1997!!! Magnificent clubs! The driver in particular!!! The size of the driver is smaller than my current 3 wood (Callaway XSpeed 2020).
I live maybe 90 minutes from French Lick, IN. Last year we had a bachelor party there so we could play the courses. EXCEPT the person that booked everything didn't realize there was a tournament was going on and the course was closed all weekend. Major golf fail. Still had a great time from what I can remember.
These clubs look absolutely amazing! Especially the woods and wedges.

4 iron for low punch shots out of the tree line and either 5 or 7 wood for a nice lye. The 3 wood can go suck it. Just need a gentle drive instead.

Great review, MSG! I just played the Ross @ French Lick (about 2 hrs. south of my house in Indy) last month. I will give you HUGE props for shot placement and ball speed on your putts. Ross' greens are more than slightly sadistic there! As always, love the content! 🏌♀⛳👍

Cobra is one of those brands that's really underrated, I love, love, my aerojet. I think the vessel bag is the biggest winner, I want one so bad.

They seem really impressive. I'd say drop the 4 iorn. Put in your favorite 60 and swap out the iorns for your favorite iorn set 5 thru pw and take that out to a course and see if it isn't the best thing ever. Great vid. 👍
I have the king tour irons as well and they are amazing. Just went to the all new 2024 p770 but I’m ready to go back because I love my cobras. Not sure why everyone is always saying “most underrated brand in golf”? Yea maybe 5 years ago but in the last 2 years cobras sales have more then doubled! That’s huge! I mean they are selling twice as much now as they were 2 generations of clubs ago. So they are no longer underrated anymore they are out there competing with the big boys of golf! I am not saying your best round on the channel. Overall, it looked consistent. A higher ball flight than what you normally hit. Great video. Keep them coming.

Great content, I enjoyed the PXG fitting video, didn't know it was going to become a "series" with other manufacturer fittings. I'd like to see a breakdown of cost and value for money comparison after you have goner through the process with a few more of these.
Matt I got fitted last summer with cobra Aerojet irons with KBS shafts absolutely love these clubs.

Cobra is the most underrated club manufacturer in golf! They make GREAT woods and their wedges are coming around. Now with their 3D printing and precision milling, I expect they will grow in leaps and bounds over the next decade. More people just need to play them🤷♂️

Great video, my son plays with Cobra irons and swears by them! I’m a Callaway guy, and I need all 4 wedges in my bag; PW, GW, SW, and 60. I’m not good enough to substitute my 60 with my 56, so I need them both.
I can’t believe this course doesn’t have a range. I grew up on a golf course that had the driving range somewhere in between two holes on the back 9. It was always a trek to walk out there. I always felt like it hurt my game because it was easy to get discouraged and not work at the range. I’d usually end up working on adjustments on the course instead.
I play all Taylormade woods but love my forged tec irons and snakebite wedges

Yes, the downhill tops the list of shots to avoid having to make. People do everything from flobbing them or blading them off the green.
It makes for nervy shots, which never helps, but take a deep breath and hit it anyway.
Nice looking bag and clubs, and pretty good for using them the first time too.
Must have been the fitting and your own hard work, and golf is work.
Cobra makes great product, I have a Aerojet 3 wood goes far! Also have the Cobra King mim tour irons, never really considered Cobra until I hit them at the pro shop simulator
I just got a set of the Kng MB/CB flow set. LOVE them.
I got rid of my 3 wood this year to bring in a 7 wood, accompanied with my 5. And I'm never looking back!

Cobra has some good quality equipment. I was a little surprised that you didn’t get your hands on the 3d printed irons.
If you needed the irons to fly a bit farther, the Forged Tec was available there. But overall, if someone chooses Cobra, you’re not hurting yourself!

I would have you try adding loft on the 3W and/or reducing loft on the 7W and taking the 5W out putting the 60 back in.
I play 3W HL and 7W in Qi.
I think give it a couple of rounds. But the first thing I would have looked at is the irons should perform at least the same or as good as your previous gamer. My guess you may need to re-visit the iron fitting. , or just get the lofts bent to something you are used to.

Would be curious to know if you find a trajectory issue with the Cobra irons I've been a teaching golf professional slash director of golf and really when we had them here on their demo days they seem to be extremely hard sell I watched your video just to see your trajectory and would you say you hit 7 iron that look like it barely got in the air and so did a wedge you hit just curious great Channel by the way tell Zac I said hello

Hey man fan here. I wanna ask how much really what u can do on a piece of metal to put more technology over the years? I mean Ive seen most of these brands size, looks, weight what have you their not even that different to each? Its been years of developing these types of products and i don’t think they can do more of it. Its just whose playing.

What happened to the Axiom shafts
We have some Donald Ross courses down by me and they are sadistic and evil. Elevated Greens on all of them and really skinny fairways. I'm curious of the elevated green thing is that all his courses?
Replace the 4 iron by the 60 and keep the 7 wood. In another video, why does Mr Short Game need a 60°? Question why does everyone want distance with irons? We have other clubs for distance.

Wow, that was the best I’ve ever seen you play! Your approach shots were landing perfectly on the green for easy tap-in pars, and that was just your first time using the new equipment. I really think you should stick with the Cobra ForgedTEC instead of the King Cobra Tour.
I have a fantastic idea for a video! Comparing your scores using the Cobra Forged Tec One Length versus the regular Cobra Forged Tec irons could provide valuable insights for golfers considering these clubs. It might simplify the game by having just one setup for all irons.
By the way, the DarkSpeed driver is incredible. I’m 51 years old and I average a 280-yard carry with it, even with the standard shaft.

I've had a 7 wood in the bag for years. I use it every single round and it's a perfect 180ish yard club for me.

You just reviewed my dream set up, Love the Cobra clubs and the look of the tour irons!
I used to have a hybrid in the bag but was convinced during my PING Tour Van Fitting to drop the hybrid and add a 7W since you get the same distance, higher ball flight, and better stopping power. The only downside to a 7W vs Hybrid/Low Iron is whenever you're playing into a strong headwind but that is all.... Best decision I ever made was putting a 7W in the bag.... Definitely the new trend is fairway woods (i.e. 7W, 9W, etc.)
