These tutorials are a wonderfully generous thing that you do. Whenever people ask where they can learn rhino for jewellery, I always suggest your channel first. Much love and thanks.
This video really drove home the importance of order of operations when doing a sweep. I kept running into the 2 surface issue when creating the UV curve because I originally chose the TOP profile curve then the BOTTOM curve when I did the sweep1. I had to do it the other way around... I should have paid closer attention to that part of your video! Live and learn lol
Your tutorial videos really helped me a lot specially in my work. I also create jewelry designs and model through rhinoceros. I wish you wouldn't stop posting tutorials for beginners like me. Thank you so much
I am from india, I Actualy every day watching your video, realy every day watching, and I also like every video whatever you making video, That's help me for ideas , your tutorials is one of the best,
Hi bhaijan. It is always nice to hear from people that my videos help. I am very happy to hear from you. Please share my videos to your friends or jewelry group you know.
excellent tutorial dear PJ. Although at the end of tutorial i can not understand how to ""puncture"" threw to become the upper size of the ring hollow.
Nice but one question...why did you join the ring curve and the 2 profiles at around 1:20 in the video. BTW I really appreciate your videos..awesome. and thanks
great lessons as always, practicing the basics before taking on in depth course. One question --- while extracting isocurve, when I do it, it only picks up part of the surface ... like 1/4th ...dont know if there is switch for whole surface or partial surface ..?
hello! great tutorial, i have a little problem though... when I try to create a UV curve, it takes only one half of the surface. even if it was joined and I tryed to rebuid the curve as in one of your other tutorial. :(
Creat UV curve only apply to single surface. if you have seam on the surface. it will only select one side of it. Make sure you have single surface not polysurface.
Great video! Im having issues with my surfaces being stuck in 2 pieces. I even boolean joined them into one but when i select the surface to flow it only highlights half at a time. This has happened to me before with similar projects. Any tips?

Sir magic 24 video?
great lessons as always, practicing the basics before taking on in depth course. One question --- while extracting isocurve, when I do it, it only picks up part of the surface ... like 1/4th ...dont know if there is switch for whole surface or partial surface ..?
because the surface you intent to pick was not a single surface. I guess they are polysurface.
@@PJChenJewelryDesign Yes you are right! will try to find out how to make it a single surface ...
감사합니다

Solved! When I swept the ring I had to "flip" the direction of both seams.
