  • Bath residents have had enough of the insane traffic schemes that are being implemented in the city at huge cost! These schemes are expressly aimed at creating congestion, stress, and difficulties with an end game of making it so horrible to drive that people will switch to a bike, scooter or walking. They have forgotten about the elderly, infirm, disabled, and those who simply want to choose how they need and want to get around. Shame on the Council in Bath!

No point voting, electronic polling systems always favour the communitarian candidate.

Please make more videos. It's hilarious watching grown adults throwing tantrums after learning life lessons that most of us learn before we can walk. The world isn't all about you. You can't have everything your own way. Other people's safety and needs matter too.

Its funny how a tiny group of hobbiests think they can dictate the road use to play with their toys on the roads. The majority of journeys are by car, therefore they should get the majority say.

If it disuades unnecessary cars and encourages bikes and alternatives, reduces polution and reduces accidents, then its a good thing. Disabled and elderly will benefit from less traffic, as a 20mph should not put them off at all.

What exactly is an unnecessary car ?

@@colinu9209 I guess I meant unnecessary journeys. Ones that might be replaced with a bus or shared ride. Or a bike if you can. I own a car, but prefer to get the bus into town. I cycle when I'm not going far. Everyone should do as they feel. But I dont think having to drive slow should be seen as a bad thing.

@@johnstevengoodlad7260 yes , we are mostly in agreement on this subject John , I too choose to walk or cycle into town as I have the luxury of living near enough to do this but it’s nice to have the choice . The way things are going though this choice is slowly being eroded . They have decreased the amount of parking spaces and hoiked up the cost to park . Councils should be there to make things easier for the public by easing congestion and not putting in roadworks everywhere or cordoning off neighbourhoods in the name of saving the planet . Diverting cars just shifts the problem somewhere else and annoys people that have to drive.Petrol engines are so much cleaner now anyway but are not designed to be driven at 20mph , especially larger engines . The older cars will eventually disappear naturally, there is no rush as the activists would have us believe. As for driving slower to save lives maybe but pedestrians and cyclists need to take more responsibility as well . When we were young our parents taught us about the dangers of a busy road and we certainly didn’t have the distraction of the mobile phone whilst walking along , oblivious to all else . Hopefully common sense will prevail in the end .

@Bicycle shenanigans get rid of all cycle lanes first which will widen the roads, ban the morons on their toys from holding up traffic. 2 very easy things which could be done now to reduce congestion
