The bull got big over the summer. The herd is also huge! I would like to bring in a bunch of calves eventually, but I’m focused on the corral and more fencing. Being able to watch you grow from the start has been very helpful. Not having a local ranch mentor made it harder to get started. I got lucky and had a couple biologists help me get ready. I’ll be ready to help mentor some new ranchers when they come along.
It’s -40 with the wind today maybe a few inches of snow with 2’ drifts from 50 mph winds. 70 degree temperature change today. I’ll be happy to see the Buffalo in the morning. I can’t handle more than a couple minutes. The calves are my main worry that’s to cold to fast. Merry Christmas thanks for sharing the journey

@@BrokenArrowBison yes. From what i read, the article was what to do with your extra pumpkins to benefit wildlife. This year i had planted 3 seeds in 6 different holes, took no care to perfection of, put them in a place where weeds were growing. We got the most amazing crop! i think we had over 50 pumpkins. After this i think i will take less OCD of making my garden perfect. hahaha hope that will do you some good 💜

Bison Stress is good or bad depending on whether they are doing what you want them to go along with the program. Many people don't seem to understand that these are NOT domesticated. You really have to let them have the option of doing it their way even though it may not agree with the original Plan. I love every one of your videos, and look forward to a continue journey.
