I use washcloths (Target- white, not expensive, comes in packs) and after use, I wring out the cloth and leave it over the shower door to dry out. When the cloth dries, (usually when in an hour) I add it to my clothes hamper for washing. I never use a washcloth more than once and I never let it sit in a ball to use again.

I have used the Glytone cleansing powder also, and I also have a rosacea. I didn’t find that it irritated my skin at all. It surprised me how something that has physical and chemical exfoliants seems like it was gentle on my skin as well. I also use the Glytone Age Defense mineral sunscreen and really like it.

Regarding your comments about the wash cloths gathering bacteria:
I had the same concerns! I do not want to use a washcloth twice in the bath/shower. So I went to Walmart and bought giant packs of white wash cloths.
And this probably sounds a little OCD but I will use one washcloth for my face, put it aside, use another washcloth for the other parts of my body put it aside, use another washcloth for my girly parts, and then use the last wash cloth for my feet. I drape them to hang out on the edge of the tub overnight and when they are dry I put them into the laundry basket to be washed. I have like I don’t know a basket of 60 little inexpensive wash cloths that I can’t possibly use up between laundry days.

Hi Dr Sam for many years I used ultrasun spf50+ on my face and body without any issues. Unfortunately when I developed rosacea I really couldn't use it hardly at all on the face anymore, so I switched to mineral spf's at that time. I have had a bit of a journey with those (a story for another time), but we had a heatwave this year in the UK (I live in Scotland) and the mineral spf's were melting off, so couldn't be giving me that much protection. In desperation I tried the ultrasun again (as I was still using it on my body anyway) and am so pleased i've been able to use it daily again on my face. Now in fairness my rosacea is fairly calm at the moment (which may be why I can), but i've always trusted the protection this brand offers - like Evy they only make spf's and don't have an spf as an add on to their line. It's also a long wear formulation, but it's a hybrid and my skin tolerates that better than a fully chemical spf tbh. I really feel it offers more consistant protection than the mineral spf's I was using and my freckles are the same shade in September, as they were at the beginning of the Summer (that's how I gauge my spf's performance on my own face). i'm a fitzpatrick one and practice a lot of sun safe behaviour, but I have a life and on occasion catch a little more sun than I would prefer to do. As we know UV can really worsen rosacea, so extra protection is a good thing. Being able to use something I trust works is something I thought I had lost for my face and I'm glad to have it back. I like a tinted mineral spf on top in the Summer (as almost a tinted moisturiser in place of foundation etc), but it's a light layer and more of a cosmetic for me now as I'm getting my protection (including really good UVA) from the ultrasun. Best wishes.

I've been using the Naturium glow getter body wash since it launched. Just opened my second bottle and have a third as a backup. I love it! You feel clean and nourished no matter how much sunscreen is on. My skin can be sensitive, no issues with it. I've never used anything like it. I personally don't really notice a fragrance. Absolutely worth a try! I wasn't that impressed with the salicylic acid one, but I have dry skin with no body acne so it wasn't made for me. Haven't tried the others yet.

@Victoria my favorite is the Aquis hair turban. It has been so helpful for my thin hair. I also had never heard of Olaplex or hair oils so I bought Olaplex 3 for weekly masks and the Virtue density booster for daily use. My hair has transformed within a month. I only need to wash it 2x a week now since it isn’t getting greasy the day after I shower. My split ends are gone, too, and my hair is just fluffy now which never happens for my fine hair. I learned all of this in one of her hair loss videos and just ordered everything from Sephora that day!

I nabbed some of both on a trip and have opinions about what's worth a splurge. UltraViolette's Supreme Screen is gentle on my rosacea, but stings my eyes. But the deal-breaker for me with UltraViolette is, if you reapply the recommended amount every two hours, one tube only lasts less than ten days! However, Evy is worth every penny, it's a holy grail product. I swear it seems to make my skin less reactive to stressors, I do not know how that's even possible, but I experience zero eye stinging, and no issues with my rosacea. If you just use it on your face (use lotion everywhere else), one container should last you a very long time.

I feel for you -- my eyes are super sensitive too, it's a real struggle. I've been having very good luck with Evy, although YMMV obviously. Make sure to start with a pristinely clean face. The technology forms an almost GoreTex-like invisible film on the skin that (for me) stays totally put. I have not brought the product right down to my lash line, instead I cautiously tap the liquified foam very close to, but not touching, the waterline. You need to let the product set up properly in order for the layer to form -- give it a good 10-15 minutes just to be safe. Maybe be extra careful and don't put it anywhere near the eye area the first few times you wear it, to check that the layering phenomenon happens properly on your skin?
