Its kinda funny Grenininja is on here though, since its the worst to use in a playthrough in Kalos if we take everything in mind. Delphox strong against Bug, Fighting, Grass, Steel and Ice. Weak only to Rock and Water Chesnaught strong against Rock, Ice, Steel, Water. Weak to Psychic, Fairy, Fire and Ice (But Ice basically cancels eachother out cuz its both weak and strong against it) Then we have Greninja: Strong against Rock, Fire and Psychic (So less advantages than both Delphox and Chesnaught). Weak against Bug, Fighting, Electric, Fairy and Grass.
@@shreyash643 Stats don't even matter as much for in-game purposes, especially not against type specialists. Stats matter more when its competitive, since then you don't what Pokemon you come up against. In-Game, with the moveset of Poison Jab, Seed Bomb, Brick Break and Shadow Claw, Chesnaught covers three out of Four weaknesses against type specialist. So this means that the only other mon you need besides Chesnaught is a Ground type due to being limited to Four moves (If you are willing to give up Grass STAB, you don't even need another mon on the team, since then Chesnaught learns Bulldoze). Whereas with Greninja, you need multiple mons on the team. Mystic Gave Greninja Ice Beam, whereas Ice Beam is useful, its not be as useful as Aerial Ace or Acrobatics (Since that also covers Bug and Fighting weakness next to Grass). But then you still have that issue for Fairy and Electric weakness and fact of the matter is we don't have a Ground/Poison or Ground/Steel type in Kalos. Even so though, taking in mind the type specalists alone, its a fact Greninja is the worst to use in the Kalos games playthroughs.

Rhyperior is a beast, I remember using one twice in my playthroughs of Platinum version where it was an absolute tank packing a great psychical attack stat but in X/Y it got better with access to more coverage such as the Elemental Punches, Megahorn, Hammer Arm, Poison Jab, Shadow Claw and its ability, Solid Rock decreasing the power of moves by 25% that makes it a great tank whilst dishing out insane damage with its attack stat. Thanks for including it on this team.
Except he is wrong on this one, since Delphox is better to use in Kalos than Greninja. Heck, if we look at type specialists and the advantages and weakness of the starters it turns out like this Delphox strong against Bug, Fighting, Grass, Steel and Ice. Maybe after all the "best team" series is finished you can take this idea into consideration: Can you beat (certain game) with specified type and HM slaves. What would interest me is: Can you Pokemon beat Black version using a monotype Normal team...
Having reviewed the original B/W Pokédex, I imagine that it’s *possible* to win with a Mono-Normal team. But it would be VERY difficult, especially since you really only have one special option: Audino. Everything else is a physical battler. Plus, you won’t get Bouffalant until the last minute, so you’re definitely going to struggle.

Since you specified Black, I’m leaving out Braviary (also Route 10). And I’m assuming you don’t have access to Meloetta (Mythical Event).
I love your best teams but can you do a best team that only contains pokemons that were introduced in that game only? I've always try to craft a team of new pokemons whenever I play the pokemon game for the first time.
Mystic hates Charizard that's very clear now atleast. Charizard Y is just too OP to not pick (X isn't bad either, tough claws flair blitz just tears through everything)
My Teams In Both X and Y X: Greninja, Mega Venosaur, Talonflame, Aegislash, Mega Lucario, and Garchomp Y: Greninja Mega Charizard Y, Heliolisk, Aegislash, Mega Lucario and Garchomp Yep. Practically No Difference.
@Trainer498 Yeah, and even though they arent the beat games ever made, if you think about it, all Pokemon games are easy, what makes them hard really is how slow grinding can get and how impatient you become and jump into battles right away
If you're playing with venasaur, you can go with A moveset of Giga Drain/sludge bomb/growth/sunny day and invest a bit in his hp stat and make him a freaking sweeper and a sun setter
@@madhavipatil7466 I feel bad Every Pokemon they have growth they also have swords dance If growth only increase sp attack by 2 (no need sun) it would be better
You just gave Gardevoir no moves to take advantage of the Pixilate Ability. You can do Hyper Voice if you want to avoid the riskiness of using Hyper Beam and being unable to move after using it.
For me I would not give my Greninja physical attacks because he is mainly special, and two water moves is not smart, I'd say replace night slash and waterfall with extrasensory and toxic spikes. For Venusaur, I would replace petal dance with energy ball, mostly because it eventually confuses the user, but the other moves are fine I guess.
Mega venasaur: I am the best of the best. Roserade: How about some toxic spikes venoshock? Mega Venasaur: I am not affected by that because I cannot be poisoned. Charizard Y: But you can be turned into KFC with my crazy sun boosted specal attack flamethrower.
For Venusaur I wish power whip was a special attack. It would fit so well with Venusaur since vine whip is its signature attack in a lot of art and it gigantamax form uses it to and power whip is really just a strong vine whip.
I Just started the game yesterday and i really want Gengar !! But to evolve haunter into gengar you need to trade it right? The problem is i don't have friend that play this pokemon gen :(
For this team… I genuinely think Gallade is more useful than Gardevoir. With Gardevoir, the team is a primarily Special-based one., which may not bother some people but it’s worth mentioning. Also, if you’re willing to trade for a Dawn Stone, you can have a Fighting-type for Grant’s gym. It can’t mega evolve yet but honestly, do we care about that?
"hammer arm is learnt at lvl 42 , use brick break until then" is there a way to get brick break before that one cave where the TM is where you probably should already have hammer arm by then?
Pokemon Sun and Moon next I love the Alola Region! But Gen 8 Sword and Shield is the least best Region in all of the Pokemon Series Franchise to date yet!

Also I'm getting pretty tired of most of these teams consisting of the same Pokemon each time with 1-2 slot changes. Most teams use Gardevoir and Venasaur and I've never been a fan of them. They are easily replaceable so picking them each time is really just playing favorites.
@Mateo Dawson N No it doesn't. Lets line them up Delphox line: Strong against: Viola, Korrina, Ramos, Wulfric, Wikstrom Neutral against: Valerie, Olympia, Clemont, Malva and Drasna Weak against: Grant and Siebold Chesnaught line: Strong against: Grant, Siebold, Wikstrom, Neutral against: Viola (Fighting resists Bug), Ramos, Clemont, Drasna, Korrina, Wulfric Weak against: Malva, Valerie and Olympia Greninja line Strong against: Olympia, Malva and Grant Neutral against: Wikstrom, Drasna and Wulfric Weak against: Ramos, Clemont, Viola, Valerie and Korrina. So while Greninja ties with Chesnaught for specialists its strong against, Chesnaught is stronger, due to Chesnaught having less weaknesses and more specialists its neutral against. Greninja has literally the most weaknesses compared to the other 2 as well. Which makes Greninja the worse to use out of the three, with Delphox coming up on top.
Now I'm imagining a battle between Garchomp and Rhyperior, where for once, Garchomp is the underdog versus the giant monolith Rhyperior. I'm still routing for Garchomp, but still.
I very much enjoy venusaurs moveset, but i prefer an all out attack set, leaning towards the special side, keeping petal dance, and teaching it earthpower ( if taught by a move tutor), outrage (because who doesnt love a base 120 power ona mega monster) and lastly sludgebomb. For greninja id use scald, icebeam, nightslash(or darkpulse), and either extrasensory or gunkshot(gotta have fairy coverage so probably gunkshot)
Venusaur doesn't have Earth Power in Gen 6 nor does it have Outrage for these games as there is no move tutor for it. Greninja also doesn't have Gunk Shot since, again, no move tutor.
@@joshmiller3521 from what I'm seeing, Outrage has never been an egg move for Venusaur. This includes its Gen 7 learn set. It has Outrage available as a TR in Gen 8 and as a tutor move prior to that.

Since you specified Black, I’m leaving out Braviary (also Route 10). And I’m assuming you don’t have access to Meloetta (Mythical Event).
@@zacharyjoy8724 I'd be getting both games, but you are correct that I'd be restarting Black version.
I love your best teams but can you do a best team that only contains pokemons that were introduced in that game only? I've always try to craft a team of new pokemons whenever I play the pokemon game for the first time.
Yep it's make the game more memorable and it's less boring if you try marathon every gen
Mystic hates Charizard that's very clear now atleast. Charizard Y is just too OP to not pick (X isn't bad either, tough claws flair blitz just tears through everything)
Charizard is OP AF in Gen VI, but Mystic still acting like its Gen I Kanto.
My Teams In Both X and Y
X: Greninja, Mega Venosaur, Talonflame, Aegislash, Mega Lucario, and Garchomp
Y: Greninja Mega Charizard Y, Heliolisk, Aegislash, Mega Lucario and Garchomp
Yep. Practically No Difference.
X and Y are underrated.
@Trainer498
Yeah, and even though they arent the beat games ever made, if you think about it, all Pokemon games are easy, what makes them hard really is how slow grinding can get and how impatient you become and jump into battles right away
Mr. Mystic Sir,
I LOVE Your Video here and Absolutely 100% with you on this video Great Work 😎
If you're playing with venasaur, you can go with A moveset of Giga Drain/sludge bomb/growth/sunny day and invest a bit in his hp stat and make him a freaking sweeper and a sun setter
Venusaur can't have chllorohyll in playthrough
@@ganeshsolanki8803 Yea but I migth help it to sweep cus growth raises atk and sp.atk in by 2 stages in sun.
PS. damn that is one large name
@@madhavipatil7466 I feel bad
Every Pokemon they have growth they also have swords dance
If growth only increase sp attack by 2 (no need sun) it would be better
Just picked up a copy of X today! Never played this gen when it released
You just gave Gardevoir no moves to take advantage of the Pixilate Ability. You can do Hyper Voice if you want to avoid the riskiness of using Hyper Beam and being unable to move after using it.
Gardevoir doesn't have pixilate ability though?
Why I am thinking mystic upload x and y no restriction
For me I would not give my Greninja physical attacks because he is mainly special, and two water moves is not smart, I'd say replace night slash and waterfall with extrasensory and toxic spikes.
For Venusaur, I would replace petal dance with energy ball, mostly because it eventually confuses the user, but the other moves are fine I guess.
I feel like flame charge partnered with swords dance is a great combo especially if it's slower. Which is unlikely
My team was Greninja,Charizard,ageislash,gallade,
Heliolosk,and Sylveon
Give me your thoughts on this
Are you gonna do best team for X/Y remastered next?
Mega venasaur: I am the best of the best.
Roserade: How about some toxic spikes venoshock?
Mega Venasaur: I am not affected by that because I cannot be poisoned.
Charizard Y: But you can be turned into KFC with my crazy sun boosted specal attack flamethrower.
For Venusaur I wish power whip was a special attack. It would fit so well with Venusaur since vine whip is its signature attack in a lot of art and it gigantamax form uses it to and power whip is really just a strong vine whip.
Power Whip as a Physical makes more sense. Its literally a giant vine hitting you at insane power.
What a dope team!! I gotta use it some day!!
I Just started the game yesterday and i really want Gengar !! But to evolve haunter into gengar you need to trade it right? The problem is i don't have friend that play this pokemon gen :(
Just use the GTS system and a random Pokémon for Haunter
Let's be honest, I don't think Mystic faked anyone out when he picked Gardevoir.
Can I just switch toxic for sludge bomb
I use Greninja and Venusaur with these set it is very good
But Greninja lost to sycamores Venusaur
"hammer arm is learnt at lvl 42 , use brick break until then" is there a way to get brick break before that one cave where the TM is where you probably should already have hammer arm by then?
I just got a phone that can run citra stabily so I've been playing through gen 6 again 😁 this is definitely gonna be my team
Best Team for Pikachu would be interesting
My Team is:
Delphox (haven’t used it in a while)
Azumarill
Venusaur
Pangoro
Salamence
Magnezone
Pokemon Sun and Moon next I love the Alola Region! But Gen 8 Sword and Shield is the least best Region in all of the Pokemon Series Franchise to date yet!
Next do best team in alpha sapphire and omega ruby
I think you missed Black and White 2.
If I had to revamp Ash's Kalos team, it would be this!
1. Pikachu. (Male)
2. Froakie-Frogadier-Greninja. (Male)
3. Fletchling-Fletchinder-Talonflame. (Female)
4. Chespin-Quilladin-Chesnaught. (Male) (In my own version of the Pokémon anime, Ash caught Chespin, not Clemont.)
5. Amaura-Aurorus. (Female)
6. Skrelp-Dragalge. (Female)
Please let me know your reactions to my reimagining of Ash's Kalos team!
We're watching a VGC player in disguise as a casual Pokemon player.
I'd personally take Lucario over Gengar, since Gardevoir can learn shadowball and thunderbolt as well
You can have both if you want to
And take away another
@@eggsage7679 I’d say get replace Venusaur and Talonflame with Charizard and Lucario. Gengar is already a stronger and faster poison type than Venusaur, Charizard is far better than Talonflame and Lucario’s steel typing, huge move pool and additional mega can really tear through Kalos.
@@yorecf9641 mega venusaurs ability is great tho and if yo use mega charizard Y it will mix poorly with greninja, talonflame is better because fletchling can be caught before the first gym!
When I played X for the first time, I used Greninja, Talonflame and Venusaur, I don't remember the rest.
Greninja and charizard X or Y especially Y is broken and already an OP team, add mega lucario and you are pretty much set
I look forward to best team no restrictions for black 2 and white 2 along with ORAS as well
As amazing gale wings was especially pre nerf I loved my flame body talon flame
Wait that ganivoir is a full art I pulled from the Marnie booster box I got and the box even came with a poster witch was also cool.
Bro forgot cut 💀💀
for my x playthrough i chose greninja and charizard but for y i chose delphox and venusaur duo
i never used chesnaught before in any playthrough and blastoise just isn't my preference
i would chose an electric type over grass and poison type like mega ampharos who will take care of water type and ice type and lucario will take over fairy type covering venasaur and chose charizard as second starter (its my opinion ) charizard having mega evolution would be really better than tanoflame
If it’s no restrictions then why not speed boost mega blazekin??
All didn't get event pokemons
@S.I.M.P Nope.
For my Ash-Greninja in Pokémon showdown I taught it Water shurken, dark pulse, grass knot and ice beam 😉
Scald is better than water shuriken
if it's not 100% accurate, it's 50% accurate
These words are a restriction that have no place on a no restrictions team
Haha Alakazam fake out was classic
I love the tcg art
It's a lovely team however I'm not a fan of overlapping types in my team
My original team was greninja, talonflame, venasuar, meowstic(f), lucario, and tyrantrum
I had 4 of the same pokemon gren, venu, meowstic and a fossil just not tyrantrum aurorus
My pokemon y team was-
1-Greninja
2-Venasaur
3-Talonflame
4-Gengar
6-Rhyperior
6-Gallade
Honestly I think for this no restrictions you don't need a starter
Gardivior is a Great Pokemon and al Garchomp is also A Great Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y Playthrough game Runs!
Im done playing oras on andoid and gonna try X&Y
Im going to use greninja
Beldum from steven lvl 1
My sylveon lvl 17 from oras
Gonna get Bulbasaur
My last 2 will be talon flame
And gengar xD
Also I'm getting pretty tired of most of these teams consisting of the same Pokemon each time with 1-2 slot changes. Most teams use Gardevoir and Venasaur and I've never been a fan of them. They are easily replaceable so picking them each time is really just playing favorites.
Which is funny really, since Greninja is the weakest Kalos starter in a playthrough look at the type specialists.
@Mateo Dawson N No it doesn't.
Lets line them up
Delphox line:
Strong against: Viola, Korrina, Ramos, Wulfric, Wikstrom
Neutral against: Valerie, Olympia, Clemont, Malva and Drasna
Weak against: Grant and Siebold
Chesnaught line:
Strong against: Grant, Siebold, Wikstrom,
Neutral against: Viola (Fighting resists Bug), Ramos, Clemont, Drasna, Korrina, Wulfric
Weak against: Malva, Valerie and Olympia
Greninja line
Strong against: Olympia, Malva and Grant
Neutral against: Wikstrom, Drasna and Wulfric
Weak against: Ramos, Clemont, Viola, Valerie and Korrina.
@Mateo Dawson N
Just literally only need Aegislash alongside Delphox. You need more mons alongside Greninja - which means Delphox is still better.
@@yorecf9641 isnt outrage an egg move? Or is that an after gen 7 egg move
@@joshmiller3521 from what I'm seeing, Outrage has never been an egg move for Venusaur. This includes its Gen 7 learn set. It has Outrage available as a TR in Gen 8 and as a tutor move prior to that.
I was able to teach all 3 kanto starters outrage in my playthrough of gen 4 johto via the move tutors in the battle tower area
@@joshmiller3521 yeah, in Gen 6 they saved those move tutors for ORAS. They aren’t available in Kalos. If only we’d gotten Pokémon Z version…
My first team for X and y was greninja, venusaur, charizard(traded),
aegislash,garchomp,gardevoir
Every Pokemon I use beside Charizard talonflame instead
2:50 Justice.
You should do a play threw using that Pokemon
Very happy with this list. Venusaur, Gardevoir, and Greninja are faves of mine. Beyond happy to see Charizard left off. (I've just never been a fan since playing Gen 1 just my opinion.)
YO THAT’S SOME GOOD SHIT ON THE GENGAR HEYNOW
That’s like a moveset I like to use lmao
Just balls to the wall coverage and stab all attacking moves heck setting up or anything to do with stats just pound whatever you’re facing into it’s grave 😄😄😄😄
And also my Second Favorite Pokemon Champion Diathia is also in Pokemon X and Y Gen 7 as well too also!
I mean to say Gen 6!
I always pick charizard with my x since he was my first in gen 1 and the dragon type is pretty good
Imo aerial ace should've been in greninja moveset coz we need coverage against fighting types
