I saw this sometime in the 80's. Cliff must have been pushing 50 then. He looks about 21. Sarah looks just gorgeous. This is far and away the most romantic (sexy) version I've seen.
@Anrael All I was saying is that Cliff was 52 at the time when this was made in the 1980's, which then would have been known as middle-aged and not young. As for people living these days to be a lot older or for bowheaded whales has no relevance to the age for when this video was made.

This musical was played when I was in middle school, and I was entranced by the music. I ended up finding out what musical it was and bought the movie, and then became a fan of musicals, which led me to go to college to continue the love affair. Will always love this musical.

My favourite childhood singer many many moons ago...
I still remember seeing this video on late night TV when I was in my early teens in the late 1980s. I didn't know that it was from The Phantom of the Opera, but this was the first time I heard the song and I was hooked. I never forgot about it until I moved to another country and got hold of the Original London Cast recording CDs my mother bought for me.

I took a GF to see this show .....this song comes on she grabs my arm practically hugging me. You had the feels. I look over and she's welling up. Don't think she clocked me peeking at her moment. We got to the car and we had the best embrace and kiss ever. She said this last line to me . We were not long as a couple at this point. I knew then...... I was done. Game over. We went again again to see the show 19 years later. Not as good as the first time. Not as special. Oh and I'm still done 😊
