The fact that he can switch from sarcastic remarks about crack and single action knives to regular review commentary is the best thing I have ever seen
Just wanted to leave a positive comment saying your channel is awesome, you got me into collecting knives many years ago. Falling asleep to your flashlight reviews has helped my bad sleeping patterns a lot too! (I have many flashlights now though, almost more than knives).
Greatest switchblade review I've ever seen. The best thing about a cheap otf is that you can hear the spring ringing while the cops play with it right outside of the the interrogation closet you'll be locked in for the next 4 hours.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro so many throw away lines... you would be so good at writing punch-up for shitty sitcoms, it legitimately seems like you painstakingly write a script for all your videos.. fuckin talented *Bro*
@CaptDavesSportfishing I bet they do. Doesn't seem like a requirement for what these tools are designed for , but I suppose if you spend 500 bucks for a knife, you are entitled to expect it to be abused in ridiculous ways without failing on the first go-round.
Dude, why isn't this dude king of all knife reviewers?? I don't know that much about knife reviewers, because I'm not a knife weirdo, I just wanted a switchblade, obviously, but this one is the most fun. Big up this dude.
The lime green version I just got will go well with the brass knuckles and crack pipe on the mantel, for sure. Never half ass two things, whole ass one thing.
I’m stopping back here to say that this dumb knife is legit and probably the first OTF people should try. Now I’m off to spend more money on OTFs, godammit, thanks to this knife.
The funny thing about autos is that they are actually slow to deploy in a self defense situation because you pull out the pocket and lost 1 extra second hunting for the button. The fastest methods for folding knives are the wave and 2 hand opening and inertia opening in case you dont like waveable knives. You can test all that for yourself.
Look to see the who auto deploy, the p'ka, the activating mechanism purposefully snagging the pocker, a clip that is a trigger kinda it s activate downwatd Iyou can only have it shoot downward unless you reajust, missing the point,
Sometimes I cut jokes. I realized I had too many questionable taste jokes in this one- so I cut a few. I usually try to be a little cleaner when working with retailers or manufacturers. However I didn’t edit them out of the script- as a sort of “extra.”
In Nebraska we can legally carry pretty much anything, even OTF's ALA you don't have a felony record. Then you can only carry a toothpick as long as it isn't concealed.
I have a MT,Benchmade but I love my F16 and lightning the best because just as the man said it’s a plaything. I would never unless I had nothing else fight with any Otf. Just a old Marines opinion.
I had a box of oppressions. Her name was Shawna. She was from Oregon. So the only thing I can reasonably conclude is Oregon is full of oppressive boxes. Anywho on a positive note. I live in Arizona as you know and I can carry almost anything legally anyway I want. This must be that box of freedoms you were referring to. Also the opposite of PEW is PEW. Just like Bang and Bang.
Had mine for 6 years ,lost it in the snow, mud, cut everything from wire to rope an everything in-between,just keep an edge on it.if the springs stick hit it with WD-40, be just fine.
I've never seen your videos but that dancing Ghostface earned you a sub. As long as you don't offend my delicate sensitivities then I might stick around.
I had a halo 6 and it will poke skin. But imo I believe double spring assisted knives are made great for self defense and draws faster than a gun. But the Smith n wessun yes you have to pull back but the blade is solid. Used for cutting. Ny those are illegal. I out doubkecedkeds only on spines when you close they dont stick out which makes it illegal. Good video. I got my ceramic bearing 19025 cents knife that will do its job in self defense comes out quicker than assisted and they cost more.
Dad was a cop too, got my fair share of items collected from "citizens". The best was bikes. I guess if they found bikes or they were turned in and nobody claimed them within a certain time, then he could bring them home. Don’t know if I ever had to buy a bike as a kid. Pretty sure a decent number of the knives in his collection got there by the same method.
Apparently you have never held a Microtech Halo if you are shitting all over single actions. It's one of the most gorgeous and well machined peices of hardware I've ever held. When the 4.5 inches of Elmax steel slam out of the front and lock up there's not a feeling like it, and there is absolutely no blade play at all. I do understand the charging handle being an inconvenience though, so I understand your point but it just doesn't matter to me at all. This AKC is a great little double action for the price for sure, great video.
I was just curious about this knife, cuz it looks cool. This was the first review that popped up. I expected the usual amateur review crap. Instead, I got a very humorous, entertaining, and informative video. You sir are funny, we can be friends.
If AKC autos upgraded there steel just a little D2 14cn28 154cm vg10. My grandfather was a cop along with my brother so I have cuffs keys and my grandfather worked in the 1950’s so they carried knuckles and iron claws which works great and were discontinued 60yrs from police or anyonebecause they kept breaking wrists especially since it’s very easy to break and control anyone even people double your size some folding batons and not the cheap ones or crappy spring ones also some badges which for some reason pond shops will buy them in a second and the last was ammo and an old school 38 special with a long nose which works great even after 50 yrs aims true no issues with rust etc while loading built to last and not jam like semi automatic pistols.
I've always liked the look of those OTF knives but I'm pretty sure this one is illegal as a category 1 weapon in my country (entirely illegal to own, can't even have it in a collection on private property). But that's probably a good thing for my bank account, I've got enough knives as it is and these honestly really aren't that practical other than being a potentially dangerous thing to fidget around with when intoxicated. I'd have to read the specifics of our laws again but almost certain it has at least two properties putting it in category 1: - the knife blade jumps out through the front (spring assisted or just by gravity, both types not allowed) - double edge (I think this might be okay in fixed blades, but the law is most definitely not okay with it on folders)
I wish Ganzo still made those autos. They seem pretty nice for 20 some bucks. Really missed the boat on that. I think I'll skip one of these and just spring for Vipertec; no pun intended. Thanks for the review mate.
Absolutely brilliant review. I nearly dropped my crack pipe at your crack pipe remark 🤣. I have now subscribed to your channel, awesome is an understatement 👌.
You can't go wrong with CSN...LOL. Damn, I use to have a NATO that was sold as a kit from the back of a Black Belt magazine. I put it away because one of the pieces of spring metal that locked the blade broke. Hopefully I was smart enough to put it aside.
Yes on the list, but me having money and the email arriving are never in parity it seems!! Love this budget OTF, if only to play with, pew pew!! Cheers Bro!
I have a few otfs microtech ultratech, scarab, Benchmade infidel and vespa but also have a few cheaper ones. I would highly recommend the lighting over this one. My f-16 fails alot but my lighting has been a solid beater and carry it regularly at work so to not damage my higher end knives. BTW the locking on the microtech halo SA is unmatched. No blade play and insanely strong
Bro can't believe you got rid of the lightning! I have a benchmade phaeton and play with the lightning more. Also there was one point where you were deploying and retracting the knife and a bug was flying around and I was like " all right it's on "
I like this knife. For $50 you get a pretty decent OTF that isn't from China. You could probably stab a car hood with this and it would still be functional. Good upload!
Hey bro. Im the guy you recommended this knife to earlier on IG. I think I'l get it for shits and gigs. Anyway, 3 things... first of all, dig the content. have for some time now. Next off all, the question portion, (pt. i) do you sell shirts or things to help support your productions here? (Pt. ii) is there a link to buy such shirts and things? Dagger blade vs bayonet blade? Both are better than a single edge imo if you're going the otf route but is there any point to go bayonet and have one side only have sharpened when you can just get the dagger? Is it more durable or is it only an aesthetic preference to some?
Works good for opening your envelope containing your court date for carrying a switchblade.
Its legal in my state, just not dagger blades.
Legal in Wisconsin too.

The throw away line of, "While the single edge version is better for batoning..." made me laugh at the thought of batoning an automatic knife.
