I remember my mom coming into my room one day and she looked at Axl's ass and said: Oh. Who's that guy? LMAO
I think at the time Wembley was an 80k all seater capacity stadium, that doesn't include the people on the pitch, I'm guessing about 150k in the stadium, but it was broadcast live worldwide
Axl's jacket is cool as, you said Axl's pandering to the British crowd, probably, but don't forget Axl loved the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Queen etc and you said Slash was also pandering as he was wearing a Rolling Stones T-shirt, not sure if you realise but Slash is actually English, he was born in Stoke-on-Trent England and grew up in Stoke-on-Trent and London before his parents moved to America. He also is a big fan of the Rolling Stones.
Biggest concert I've ever seen is the Monsters of Rock in Russia after the collapse of the Soviets, Pantera, Metallica and AC/DC all do great sets. So, I'll suggest Pantera - Domination, Metallica - Fade to Black and AC/DC - Whole lotta Rosie. But all 3 bands have more to offer from this show.
Loved most of the reaction. I don’t care for the bit about lead singers trying to be women. There are many levels of masculinity and femininity. It seems many of the most talented singers have a heavy dose of both which is what probably makes them so dynamic. And as far as who is cooler, yeah it was always Axl. Us ladies don’t mind him half naked and strutting his stuff. It’s his voice and lyrics, volatility and showmanship that makes GNR legends.

Axl is the only singer that gets a full week of cardio into 1 song... Nobody commands a large stage like him with zero backup dancers.
