- Parents of children believed to be under the spell of a suspected cult called God’s Angels, in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, fear for their well-being. The group's leader allegedly convinced several local teenagers to leave their homes and schools and join him in the wilderness. Police have returned a few of the youngsters to their families, but the cult leader continues to meet with some of them in secret. #Newzroom405's Sipha Kema speaks to one of the families.

I am a born again Christian and it hurts me to see people play with other people's lives.
Our God is a God of order, a true man of God will never cause so much confusion and pain in families.
If these children were in a right Church, you guys would be very proud of these boys and seing a Godly change in their lives. This is so so strange indeed😭May God intervene and rebuke this man misleading our Children in Jesus name.

That is how you know you're in a cult, when you feel so defensive about the "man of God" more than anything else. You have inhaled the spirit of that person and not the Spirit of God.
The calling of God will never make you disrespect those who have authority over you, your parents even if they are not saved God commands you to listen to them and respect them. God will not be telling you to quit school in this day and age.

Most religious groups are now targeting young people it’s so weird. I am a victim myself and I used to snap at my mom whenever she spoke about the church.
Everyone at home was so afraid of me, but by God’s grace I made it out of there. Their leaders are usually protected and there is so much spiritual abuse in these churches.
The holy scripture said, "very few will be saved and many will be punished". Turn from your sins because you are misled children of Jerusalem.

Cults are real. At home my aunt and cousin’s got into one. Our family prayed for years until they got delivered and free from it.

Personally I blame the government for creating conditions for cults to thrive let's remember people turn to religion due to despondency or insecurity hence this growth in cults. Our people are vulnerable if not disparate for any help hence they seek solutions everywhere. For example this provence in known for its high unemployment rate..

We did not have Christianity in Africa, it originated in Europe…from the Roman Empire (read Roman Catholics in Rome). Africans, especially the oldest documented religion from Egypt was not Christianity. Something came to mind as i was watching,who is interview the thousands of kids that are being lost to the clubs and drugs today, i listened to this and there is no cult activities besides that this man is training these children to serve God and be used of God despite the challenge of them disrespecting parents
