Things you will need
sheet pan or cookie sheet
parchment paper ( not wax paper )
Saran Wrap
measuring spoons and cups
1 large bowl
1 ice cream scooper
medium pot
whisk
rubber spatcular
Preheat oven to 350
INGREDIENTS:
2 sticks butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tbs vanilla extract ( imitation vanilla is fine )
1 teaspoon kosher salt or table salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoon cornstarch
-2 cups all purpose flour plus two tablespoons
-1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips ( you canadd chocolate chunks if you want, plus more for topping )
-1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts ( plus more for topping )
* 1 ice cream scooper *
Note* if you decided to use a smaller scooper instead of the 2 1/4 scooper like I did .. please adjust cooking time. Bake cookies for 8 mins instead. * Please understand that the cookies will seem a bit under cooked once removed from the oven, but dont be alarmed they will Harden as they cool *
* Please cook larger cookies for 9-10 mins (same size as cookies in v video *
*
*if using a mini scooper bake cookies for 6-7 mins *
* you can also freeze this cookie dough to use at a later time *

When I tell you I have made these cookies three times within the past week and a half!!!! We love them! The first batch was just with pecans. The second batch I added Heath pieces. The third batch which I finished about 30 minutes ago have pecans, Heath pieces, and Reese’s peanut butter pieces.
And I felt guilty for cooking a double batch. Lol get it girl.

I have made these cookies several times and everybody that eats them falls in love! I learned from another author that they are even better if you let the dough sit in fridge for at least 2 days before baking and God knows they are! Omg. Thanks so much for sharing!

Made these for the 5th time last night and used vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract and cut up some Valrhona chocolate from a bar instead of using chips. Best batch yet!

I’ve been making these for a month straight, and this time I was out of vanilla extract, so I wanted to experiment and to improvise, I used rum extract, and that made em ten times better! Try rum extract folks!

Let me tell y’all right now that these are the ABSOLUTE BEST browned butter chocolate chip cookies out there!!! I’ve made these from another recipe before and wasn’t that impressed. These are freaking KILLER!!! They have a slight crispy edge with a nice gooey and chewy center 😋 we couldn’t stop eating them seriously! Totally worth the two stick of butter I used 😂 my husband stopped fussing once he tried them! This will be my go-to recipe from now on!🎉

Took these to a party- all cookies were gone before my husband even meandered back to the dessert table. One of the guests had hoarded 3 cookies on their plate ;). I made this recipe exactly as is- no substitutions. Made them smaller than the video- about chips ahoy size- 8-10 min in 350. Thank you Danni! FYI- I made sure all credit went to you!
OMG!! These cookies are AMAZING! I made them yesterday and sent pictures to my friends and family. Some of them (who live out of state) asked if I would FedEx some to them! 🤣😂 I baked 6 and then proportioned the rest into cookie balls, individually wrapped them and have them in the freezer for later. They really are delicious. Wish I could post a picture of how they tuned out. And she made it so easy to follow the directions. This was my first time making them and I'm DEFINITELY saving this recipe! Thanks, Girl! 😁
