Love the vids! Just curious about some of the target % for the sample workouts. What do you mean when you say “light snatch high pulls” but have 90%-95% as the target?
omaridapenn I think the % refers to the snatch 1RM, not the pull 1RM. Since you can usually pull more than you can snatch 90-95% of you snatch weight is a light pull
omaridapenn snatch pulls are often 105-110%, and slightly more, as well, our 1RM is often hundreds of lbs below our deadlift 1RM. light describes intensity, or perceived exertion
I couldnt really find dr mike explaining why he doesnt train in 5 or lower range? Because if you use the same volume wouldnt you also get way stronger than doing 6 or higher?
Great video! You contribute a lot to all the people who want to learn weightlifting on their own, thank you very much! Regards!
Can you make a video clarifying the squat jerk vs. the split jerk and the rationale and pro’s and cons to both?
Excellent video. Very clear presentation with good, easily understandable information.
I'm actually amazed that you've been giving so much knowledge for free on your channel :)
i wish youd do more videos on going through a program and why you do certain variations like you did in this video.
Superb content! Thank youuuu
