This is a great series, and is popular on U-TUBE, however, I believe the reason you have no comments is because of the low volume. Can barely hear it. I suggest you redo it and you will get a bigger following. I will post information on it's history.
@@TheOneshot54 Don't wear a hearing aid, don't need one. Don't wear glasses, either. Problem is with my device, it is a Samsung Tablet and it has a pre-set volume which is o.k. for most songs, however, if the song is posted with a low volume, as this one, I'm unable to turn it up. I have many of these posted, but a few are low in volume. However, appreciate your concern.
Such a young Jean Shepherd. A great singer, even in her old age. We enjoyed seeing her on the Opry just a few years before she passed away. Always enjoy these videos even though I’ve seen them repeatedly.
@@grammadee9443 , I’m so glad to hear from you. I must have missed your last text. How are you doing these days ? I think it’s been a while since I logged into Hillbilly Willy. I’ve been catching up on the Grand Ole Opry videos from this channel. There are so many ones that I’m seeing that I had missed before. I’m going to check in with Hillbilly tonight, he always has good ones. Hopefully things have been well with you.. Your Louisiana friend, Lou
Dee, I wanted to add another channel I think you will enjoy besides this one we are on. It’s called Historical TV records. You may already be a subscriber since we like the same type of music , also Steelworker records.🎶🎼 Lou
I don't recall that comidian , as it Bob Turley or curlry ?Many thanks as I love this old music Also, The Big Tiger was a great fiddle man and singer. Benny would stop ny a few small bars on Paesons Ave. in Columbus, Ohio long after he was up big in music. He would sit in and jam with old boddies
I sure hate to admit that all these STARS are gone, but I have all the sweet memories. As long as I have my right mine, I will always have the best memories.
In the 50's stationed at Ft Campbell many Saturday nights when in Nashville we stopped into the Ryman to watch these stars perform.
How I'd give to live a life like yours.
👍
Thanks for posting. i think the steel guitar player with Jimmy Dickens around the 0:40 mark might be Bobby Koefer?
I'm 82yrs old I remember all these people love watching them

Always nice to hear Ray Price singing his original country style.
