My Dad made me stone points for my Handmade Osage Long Bow when I was 12. I bagged a 4 point buck. I am 67 now. I love this story and it makes me proud to use primitive archery.

I drive fuel tankers, spend about 10 hrs a day bored in my truck, listened to one "bear grease" episode and got hooked. I went back & listened to literally every episode, one of my favorites. Great story telling with really interesting topics.

I know MeatEater is always looking for new content and avenues, and this, is one of the best new series in a while. It's a perfect addition to the brand. I'm sure I'm biased, but things like the Canadian angle do nothing for me, this though, is exactly why i love MeatEater. Education more than anything has always been y'alls earmark, whether it's new hunters, old hunters, non hunters, etc. I didn't hunt when i found y'all, and i do now in large part because of what I've learned here. Don't lose that, keep it up.

I'm not surprised, but extremely impressed that the head did not break inside the bear. The idea that you can reuse your stone arrowheads is awesome.
I used to make my own bows and arrows when I was a kid, and often the heads would snap on something hard, but I never had the chance to hunt real game with them. This such a great video!
