Should men wear Baccarat Rouge 540? I know, I know. It's traditionally seen as a women's fragrance, but hear me out.
I asked 500 people this very question, and the results weren't too surprising. The majority of people said that they believed men could and should wear it, but there were also a number of people who said that they didn't believe men should wear Baccarat Rouge 540.
Now, personally, I'm all for breaking down gender norms when it comes to fashion and beauty. If a fragrance smells good, who cares if it's marketed towards men or women? And let me tell you, Baccarat Rouge 540 smells amazing.
It's got this sweet, warm, and woody scent that just screams sophistication. It's the kind of fragrance that makes people take notice and ask, "What are you wearing?" And as a man, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to enjoy that too.
But I get it. Some people are stuck in their ways and think that fragrances should be strictly gendered. That's fine. But I think we're missing out on some amazing scents by limiting ourselves like that.
So, to answer the question of whether men should wear Baccarat Rouge 540, I say why not? If you like the scent, wear it proudly. And to those who still need convincing, I challenge you to give it a try. Who knows, you might just fall in love with it.

I never knew this was for men, honestly. I love the 540 extrait perfume, and it smells great on me. It doesn't smell masculine to me.

Beautiful scent but not for me. And there's nothing wrong with wearing old fragrances. I still have a bottle from 50 years ago which hasn't lost much and I still wear it and don't smell like too many other people. Thanks again, it's great having you back.

I have and love BR540!! I've had a few dialogues with different people and found it odd that they think BR540 is more feminine than Al Harmain Amber Oud Gold Edition!! Amber Oud Gold smells way more feminine to my nose!! Both smell extremely pleasant and are performance beasts!!!!
I have about 150 scents on display, my wife has but one and it's 540. I don't wear it because it's her siggy and it's the only scent she will wear. I buy her a bottle every year for her birthday and that juice makes her happy AF. Being a Fraghead I've tried to introduce her to everything from Killians to Creed's but she has absolutely no interest in straying from her favorite first fragrance. I kind of dig that and in a way I guess envy that. So I quit trying to throw her off her game, I just make sure that BR540 is fully stocked every year. I went from gucci guilty to versace euros to dior savage(which is my favorite). I tried creed aventus & recently bought baccarat rouge extrait a few days ago. I love it. Gets stronger as the day goes & lasts all day. It expensive just like aventus, but will definitely be buying again.

I can't lie it is somewhat soft but at the end of the day I get plenty of compliments when I wear it 🤷🏾♂️. At least 4 to 7 ppl are gonna ask me what I'm wearing, and it's a long lasting pretty much all day fragrance so it's a 👍 for me

It's a summer nighttime fragrance, which you can still smell on your clothes the next morning. Don't spray more than one shot, or you'll bother yours and and other people's noses.

As a guy, my favorite fragrance is actually YSL, but my second is easily BR540. "Smells like $1,000,000" is easily the best description as you said.
After getting it in my discovery set I was shocked . BR540 and Gentel Fluidity were the two I was looking forward to trying. GF was wonderful but I would only be impressed by BR540 is if my teenage daughter walked into the room wearing it. Not only does it smells feminine it smells down right girly. It has nothing to do with confidence and everything to do with the desire to have my fragrance exude qualities that represent who I am.

I have never smelled the real deal but I have the clone Untold. I can only speak for it but I do not feel it's very feminine. It has a sweet note but also a green note (like fir) that I think is more masculine.

I tend to really enjoy the more feminine leaning unisex fragrances. I love the notes so much in this that as a man I even wear Grande Ariana Cloud.
It depends on what you wear. Obviously you're not gonna wear Br540 with a slick black suit in a black tie event. However if you're wearing bright colors for a night out in a busy club... Then that shit will have you standing out

As far as is it good for male to wear it i think it is and just 2 times I put it, 1st time complete mistake, daylight, walking to meat some friend's... didn't like it on me. But final answer for me is YES it's for guys as well cause I put it before business diner, simple elegant clothes and after I went for clubbing so defenetly its okey for guys to use it girls like it on us ...

Just put my nose on it for the first time today out of a tester pack my brother got me for my birthday and it's easily a "9" for me. This fragrance was so dope that i shouldn't have wore it to work. This is some date night shit that I can see myself wearing to a play or comedy show when I'm dressed to the nines.

That's a hard no for me. I did something out of character and bought 540 without smelling it and immediately gave it to my mom after I smelled it. She loves it and agree that it's a turn off to have men wear that cologne. I decided to survey 10 more women that I knew and they all agreed the smell is too fenimim for men. I haven't tried the extrait yet. It's all good because I still have my SAUVAGE/ Bleu de Chanel/ Dior Homme Intense and YSL Y which I 💙💙💙💯

Whats funny is i literally pull girls off the 540 extrait. Every time i wear it my girl goes bonkers and gets all turned on & wants to mess around lmao. Idc what anyone says the dry down gets so musty in a good way. Its a sweet smelling gentle yet masculine cologne. Not the most masculine ofc but who cares. I get if you have Napoleon syndrome. Some guys are weird like that. This Br 540 legit turns girls on all the time. Its so funny to me idk what it is about it but im telling you it hits there hormones hard. I pulled numbers just off the Br 540. Your crazy if you dont own this. The only other one that ever compares is the creed aventis original black label.😆💯
