Gee, I had no idea I was this late to the Friesen party. I was a pandemic subscriber, and it was perhaps the best part of being homebound. Finding you, your family, and the black beauties at the stable was, and is, so life affirming. The calm, cool green of the pastures in contrast to the mighty, sleek Friesens brings my soul a reprieve from the daily stress of news, politics, etc. Godspeed to you all. I was searching for horse births, and Uniek's adoption of Rising Star came up in the search. I watched how excited Queen Uniek was to meet Risey the first time, and have been watching your channel ever since. You never fail to make me smile and I love to watch each horse grow and improve through time, and I have especially fallen in love with Uniek, and watch her antics when she is with other horses. She definitely is the boss! Watching Risey learn how to be a stallion has been a lot of fun. It's hard to believe that he was ever so tiny as he was when his journey with Uniek started. I surfed a lot on UA-cam and I found the story of Queen Uniek and Risin Star! I watched all your videos and I learned that miracles exist and that life is precious. I still remember the day Rising Star first met Uniek which was around late May, 2021. The way Uniek pranced in joy seeing him, then accepting him and nurturing him despite not being her own. This was such a defining moment for this channel and made me appreciate animals in general more.

That moment with Uniek and Rising Star was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen...it still makes me cry to think about it...I have watched it many times. 😍The beauty of love....the coming together of two hearts hurt by death and them loving and comforting each other...what a beautiful love story. ❤️Thank you for capturing that and sharing such hope with the world. As many I subscribed because I love Fresian horses. Dr. POL here in U.S. first introduced me to them and some history. Queen Uniek and Rising Star have been a wonderful story to follow. Seeing all the mares and foals is such a joy for me. When you had your fall I said many prayers for your survival and recovery. It is truly your calling to be with horses and you are doing so well!! Your family at Stal G were as supportive as anyone could ask of coworkers and friends. Bauke was the husband every good woman should have. His videos made my heart swell. I'm so glad to see you are much better and doing what you like. Your horses don't listen as well as the Fressian horses do. If you work with Daisy and Spidy and they will get trained like Fressian. That video when we saw Uniek 'stamping' her hooves when she saw Rising Star for the first time was just the best! I rode horses for years a long time ago but I have never seen that before.

I think Uniek was doing a piaffe. She was trained in dressage. Did you notice that every time Janet (Rising Star's owner at the time) would start to move RS away, Uniek would start pawing with just her front left hoof? Every time I see it, I get the impression that that was Uniek-speak for "I'm interested! Don't take him away! Bring him closer!"

Yvonne I am just now watching you on your 10th anniversary. I was in the hospital for an infection in my leg, and could not watch you tube there. I love to watch just how much Spidey and his mother keep trying to get your attention. I know from a friend who has horses just how playful and loving horses are. You have really progressed a lot since your accident, I am very amazed at how you have struggled to get better. You are in my prayers.
