Ive owned 3 BMWs, a 2005 530i, a 2015 535i M Sport and a 2022 x3 30i M Sport and all 3 have this. Its really freaking cool. Im pretty sure when you are driving on a hilly road that goes up and down, the X3 also tilts the headlights upwards as you are going down a hill so that you can see whats in front of you.
At night with the lights on when you are going slow and have your turn signal on it will shine the one side of high beams on to better illuminate where you’re turning.
You havent even used the laser system in this video haha. This is just the lights swiveling. What wouldve really blown your mind is if you would drive with constant highbeams it will automatically draw a black box of shade around oncoming traffic to not blind them and on highways it will automatically light up roadsigns without blinding everyone else
The US doesn't have matrix headlights, so that's a pretty big deal. That level of headlamp was in Hyundai and Volkswagen 20 years ago. Mercedes-Benz, Audi, they have matrix. Not in the US, but in other countries.
Wait til you have to replace a headlight unit, bring your bank manager with you….. all well and good, but the cost to replace these things is beyond belief.
I love this. I have a Pontiac Vibe but whenever i see a BMW on the road at night, it never blinds me and im always so grateful lol ❤️

Denise don’t give a damn 🤣 I had them on my Lexus or my bmw one in the 2000’s. I thought it was cool to when I discovered them
Although I grown up hating BMW I applaud them for a technology like this
I remember my first time in a high end vehicle too.
High end?

My 2006 BMW 330i also had these. They’re awesome. I’m trying to retrofit them in my 2011 128i now 😂😂
Is this your first bmw?
Gotta be my 07 335i did this lol
BMW Lazer headlights are even better

Nothing Special my Suppen has it as well but with xenon. It’s from 2019
I know that Porsche headlights that aren’t the matrix ones do this
I had this in my e60 2008😁
My 2019 Ioniq EV has this too!
Navigation graphics quality like old 2015 mazda....
That's old technology, had a 2008 CTS with adaptive headlights...😅
My 2008 Saab have it
Poor Denise.......;)
E90 has this
No. E90 has swivel but not laser
Ford focus had this 5 generations ago 😂
