Best options for this is if you fit an aftermarket exhaust system especially if you delete the CAT,then it like the mt09 can run lean as for emissions reasons they are already lean from factory, let the company know off all more so they can make the changes needed, the mt09 really benefits as it smoother out the jerky throttle and gives full power that is restricted on factory ECU.

Thank you for reply so quickly.. so you’re saying its does need fuel tuning n ecu flash services after install the exhaust in for bike to ride smooth n more powerful.
YES. Anytime a part is installed that effects the air/fuel ratio of the bike, a tune is the best option to get maximum smoothness and power out of the bike. ECU flash will unlock all the factory restrictions, so that’s good to do before the tune.
Ben Peter Meyer flashing the ECU will take all factory restrictions off the bike and allow it to run at its full potential...runs much smoother as well!

Hi @UCPUetAZjVircV4sR81gIgww, please i am really lost on this flashing and PC% thing, , now my question is flashing my ECU and getting/installing a Power commander which is far better or best ?

Of course!!!!
Hello I just bought a full akrapovic racing system exhaust and plan to put in my 2012 Yamaha r6.. I’m just wonder after install this Akrapovic exhaust in the bike do I have to get fuel tuning and ECU flash services for bike the to ride smooth n normal.. BC I reach out to people working from Revzilla and they said With Akrapovic full system exhaust doesn’t need fuel r ECU services.. and he was saying akrapovic build this exhaust system around the stock fueling of motorcycle which allow them to pickup power over stock unit.. please I love to hear from your advice
Johnnie Ha Ya, it’ll run much better and more powerfully with an ECU flash and tune.
Thank you so much for your advice.. one last question do you flash ECU for 2012 Yamaha r6 and what is the cost??
FASTBYFEW is the business I get my ECUs flashed from. Send them a message tell them a message.
Ecu flash on rebbel 500?
I just sent him my ecu super cool guy
So where would you get the software for this ? I have a 2019 Indian ftr1200 s and I’m guessing it’s so new not too many people have this
James Polucha Woolich Racing sells everything you need!
Sir in our area we do not jave dyno tuning. Is it okay to have only ECU flash without the dyno tuning?
Absolutely. An ECU flash and a dyno tune are 2 separate and different operations
Get the ECU flash first!
@@wildwhiskeywolf okay thanks sir =)
What would be the benefit of flashing a 2009 Suzuki Gladius
Ben Peter Meyer flashing the ECU will take all factory restrictions off the bike and allow it to run at its full potential...runs much smoother as well!
I have the same bike same year. I have a Leo Vince slip on but would like a full exhaust, tune and upgraded rear suspension.
Is it necessary to change the exhaust if flashing the ECU? Can we use the stock exhaust?
Not necessary but gets you the best results
@@wildwhiskeywolf understood.. can still use stock exhaust but the result won't be as high as aftermarket exhaust right?
Thank you, that was helpful
Hey, i have a z300 and i want a little more power for the highway, is ECU flashing recommended for me?🙄
J3xY an ecu flash unlocks the restrictions put on the bike from the factory so I would always recommend flashing your ECU

Hey i have a 17 r6. It had a recall on the ecu, due to the cold start issue. I had it dyno'd and flashed 3 years ago after i did the air filter and exaust. The cold start problem has become worse and worse and i brought it to my dyno guy and hes telling me he needs to take it to yamaha to be factory reset. Is this normal, he wont elaborate on why this needs to be done. Hes telling me he will get it factory reset and perform another dyno on it. Based on what ive said is this normal, have you heard of this before? And so you think its ok to still ride for a 4hr trip i need to take it on this week? Thanks!
