    Excellent video bro. The mkh416 sounds so clean too! How do you get 24 bit on the DJI mics? I miss the part you mentioned it.

      @prskyviews  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much Eddie 🙏 , you can get real nice 24bit (noise floor is very low) from the internal recording on the mic’s. I did pushed them very hard this time, outside was very very windy.
      The mkh416 is one of those purchases that my Wife and wallet give me the stink eye every day but when I do paid work, to see the happiness on my clients faces from what their voices are portrayed makes it worth it 😃

    Nice video content. You have a good on-camera presence so I hope you don't mind this suggestion to help you get even better: Try not saying "Ahhh" so much. It makes you seem like you're not sure of what you're saying. (I hope that helps you out!) Good luck with your channel !

    Need your help. The first time I used these dji wireless mic and uploaded my video on UA-cam the sound turned out too low. I had set the transmitter to + 3 and receiver to +1. Also I am using a dji Pocket 2 with a dji audio adapter. What audio levels do I set on the receiver and transmitter to get a satisfactory audio if not perfect. Thanks . I cannot find any videos on YT on setting gain levels in different environments. What's the thumb rule for setting gain levels between the transmitter, receiver and the camera.

    • @prskyviews
      @prskyviews  2 роки тому +2

      Hey man Glad to help! The rule of thumb is to always have your gain as low as posible, in the video I had them at 0db and later in premiere pro I set the audio gain to were the meter read -6 on the loud parts. What post processing software are you using?

      @@prskyviews Thanks for the reply. I am totally new to the audio part of videography. I thought I would just shoot and upload videos lol but I guess there is more to this audio part. I don't use any post processing software so far.
      You said keep the gain low, is it on the receiver or transmitter or the camera? If you could elaborate. Thanks again.

      @prskyviews  2 роки тому +1

      @@judesocojr1911 oh ok, well it is supposed to be set low on both transmitter and camera but if you are not editing in post try setting the gain on the camera and transmitter by recording your voice talking normally on a silent room. That way you will get an idea on the noise floor for your equipment so you don’t push it to hard.
      I know for a fact you will be using post processing programs like premiere pro or final cut x soon! They will definitely elevate your game 😃

    What;s your setting for DJI Mic and what do you use to edit the audio? Thanks

    • @prskyviews
      @prskyviews  Рік тому

      To set them I am currently looking at the gain and maintaining as low as possible and always use the mic internal recording to get that crispy 24bit audio, I use premiere pro to edit the audio. Thanks for watching 🙏

      @@prskyviews you sync the internal recorded audio in post? Have you tried to connect the receiver to your zoom F6 or similar recorder like mixpre II? Does it work for 32 bit float recording on the recorder? Thanks!

    • @prskyviews
      @prskyviews  Рік тому

      @@thatsamuellu that is an interesting take! I will connect the Transmitter to the F6 and see if it catches the 32bit float but my guess is it won’t since the 32bit float signal occurs via XLR I do own an XLR to mic jack adapter so we will see! Thing is that way we will still need to sync in post
