Even after all these years, this battle is still amazing. It's also interesting to see someone as powerful as Yukari get put in the corner, since her control over boundaries is so broken, but I guest no matter how strong someone is, they's always someone stronger.
This was an incredible battle, Umineko characters don't get used enough in these kinds of things!! I'd love to see you do more, maybe bring in Battler, Rosa and the other higher plan characters for cool battles like this; especially with how surprisingly strong they all are because of everything lore wise Loved this, instant sub for great Dlanor fighting~

Just take my advice and pay close attention to the dialogue; everything matters sooo much if you want to solve the mysteriessss Heck, who knows indeed.. If you actually want to know how this fight will ACTUALLY end, Dlanor will just straight up one slash Chara from the start, and there's nothing Chara could do because her sword(yeah the red and blue ones) cannot be dodged by any means, it's a One Hit Guaranteed Kill Sword that will Destroy any Logic/Concept just to kill her opponent

@@coolchrisable What makes Dlanor so strong is her conceptual manipulation hax, The Red Key doesn't just deny defensive methods but concepts itself, even the concept of the target is denied (Chara and Yukari in this case). The only way to defend yourself against this is having another Red Key, Conceptual Weapon, Conceptual Manipulation, Resistance to this kind of hax or a better hax, which is something neither Yukari or Chara posses. Man, I can't believe I missed this animation. You did some really good work with this one. Keep up the good work. I don't know much about Umineko, but I did look into the replies of your comments and saw some pretty crazy stuff. Anyways, the storyline was interesting and gave a good backstory to the fight. Movements were pretty fluid and the combos were very well done. Using a good amount of the abilities of the characters throughout the fight must've really been hard on you and your computer, but still it really put together everything under a well done bow. I can't say much for pacing 'cause I'm not a animator, but it was just right for this battle. In the end this is a good animation and you've come a good ways. I hope you have a good day and keep on bringing out quality animations like this. Also, just a small side thing, I think you could possibly fit in nicely with the Hyun Dojo community. Thanks for the kind words man!! And you're right it was pretty hard to do some of the movements, abilities, etc. Mostly because the program i use to animate kept crashing and corrupting my files, and the computer lagging '^-^ that made making the scenes harder and some of them even got deleted, i liked the result but it could be better, i plan on remaking this someday tho. Dlanor is my favorite Umineko character and seeing her for the first time in battle makes me happy. And I'm glad she won this battle between both Chara and Yukari Yakumo.

This is a spicy one. On the one hand Yukari could theoretically shift the boundaries of what is, and what is not a mystery. Conversely Dlanor can counter just about everything a fantasy creature does simply by applying Knox's Second. Normally I'd side with Touhou, given that their abilities tend to be BS, however Dlanor is Kryptonite to that particular style of BS. Also I'm biased, but that is by-the-by.
Sadly, as much as I love touhou dlanor kinda stomps. She's comparable to willard who easily sliced a kakera in half and each kakera is known as having higher and lower worlds making it an Outerverse and Heaven exist above the infinite sea of fragments so yeah.

Would love to discuss this with you ingot but I have high doubts you’ll ever see this. I would argue that this matchup is a hard stalemate. Let me explain why Chara has absolutely no way of ever, no matter how many loads of their save file, hurting Dlanor, and absolutely never getting in a fatal injury. Chara is universal in AP and possibly relativistic to light speed. This is absolutely nothing to Dlanor, who’s sword (red key) is impossible to dodge or block unless you also possess a red key. Chara would try and try, but they’d never ever get close to a hit, and considering Dlanor is hyper complex multiversal in AP, as well as concept hax, there is absolutely no possible way for chara to hurt her. Even if theoretically Dlanor was an idiot and just let chara destroy the universe, it really wouldn’t even affect her and if needed her true form could tank it without a care in the world. Dlanor on the other hand doesn’t have a way to fully kill chara. Here’s why The save screen in undertale is never characterized as a separate/pocket dimension like it is here or in things like glitchtale. It can be argued that the save screen is on another conceptual tier of fiction compared to everything else. Think about it. When frisk/chara die, their soul is obliterated. Flowey states that the soul is the very “culmination of one’s being”. When the soul is broken, nothing is left. It’s not like when they die their soul is transported to a save screen, there’s absolutely nothing to transport. They are gone, erased from reality. Absolutely nothing is left of them and they frankly no longer exist. The save screen is a realm (if you even wanna call it that) that’s beyond the fiction of undertale. It’s a level beyond that absolutely no one can enter unless you are the one with the highest determination in the timeline. Even if the entire multiverse was destroyed, and chara was killed by red key, which can fuck with concepts, they, or rather their determination, would still theoretically be back on the save screen, with determination bringing them back. Dlanor can erase the concept of chara from existence, but the save screen as well as the save and load options could provide a conceptual tier higher level of defense. And if you would say “well Dlanor would erase chara before they go to the save screen” like I said the save screen isn’t a place. It’s a higher concept that allows one to control the fiction they are in. There’s no travel time, it’s instant. Overall, it would devolve into chara infinitely using save and load to cause a stalemate. Even using red key on chara wouldn’t stop save and load, due to the aforementioned higher conceptual tier of defense provided by the save and load screen. Dlanor would kill chara every singe time with negative difficulty. Some would say chara would lose their determination eventually knowing they wouldn’t win, but I think it’s very in character for them to, rather than admit defeat, keep going and going as a form of unknowing infinite torture to Dlanor. Chara can be a bitch when it comes to someone killing her. Would love to see responses to this but this video is old as fuck so I doubt I’ll find any.
The argument doesn't work because Umineko and Undertale work on different levels of meta narration. Undertale is basic as it's Undertale that views itself as a game and the player that has a SOUL, which represents their control in the game. In the fiction, the save and load feature is nothing but a power that allows the user to reset events in a certain period of time when dead (not erased in the sense of existence erasure, you don't need to see a SOUL reforming and being sent in the Game Over screen to get that it's a representation of the player resetting after death. Chara doesn't have a SOUL nor a body anymore and yet it appears to the player in the genocide run), the characters don't have actual awareness of the player itself, but of its SOUL and DETERMINATION, they don't have actual awareness of the SAVE/LOAD, but of its effects on the world (only some 4th wall breaks that aren't exactly that). Another game that interacts with the player's menus is NieR: Automata where 9S modifies certain parameters of the player's screen setting: does this mean that those units can control settings of a higher level of fiction or it's just for show? To say that breaking the 4th wall isn't necessarily a higher layer of control, especially when the fiction doesn't establish it (Undertale talks to the player through the actions of their SOUL, not at the player itself, which would make Chara's appearance in the genocide run as useless). Umineko is even more meta: multiple layers of fiction exist (in Umineko, we see that the gameboard where the murders happen is but a game played by Beatrice and Battler, which is also a fictional story alongside infinite others, some higher, some lower dimensionally) and those layers themselves might be fictional or not (in the writing of the Rokkenjima murders, what we see of the meta world and characters might be just an elaborate series of metaphors or messages created by the author for the reader, a specific reader that it's not us). During episode 5, everyone is sent in the Court of Illusions, an even higher layer of reality than Beatrice's world (called "catbox", which is composed by infinite possibilities and multiple higher dimensions as seen during the first 4 episodes) to discuss the fate of the catbox through the 5th game. Characters use truths, who are a literal representation of the visual novel text used as weapons, aka plot and reality manipulation via text. Meta beings in Umineko are non-existent in nature and capable of reforming, even when the reality of a gameboard is destroyed, just by thinking. The way they "kill" the opponent in Umi is, in fact, done with truths as, to a degree, truths themselves can stop characters' regeneration/resurrection indefinitely or even eternally (the degree of the truth varies depending on what the truth means and in which layer of reality is used. This to reinforce the idea that a "higher conceptual tier of defense" can be negated by Dlanor since she can manifest in even higher layers of reality, where even Beatrice's catbox is seen as nothing but a fragment/book). There is also alternative way to stop a meta being, an example being Bern that threatens to throw another character into the depths of oblivion, a place in the meta world where only specific individuals can interact and escape from and the rest simply lays there forever, incapable of doing anything (similar to how pieces in the gameboard have an area in the game where they are put when unused or dead). I won't be able to respond soon.
Red Key has worked on far higher cosmologies than the SAVE function in Undertale, with the latter being limited to a universe with at least 100 timelines, (according to the FUN Value system) and the former having the capability to one-shot infinite dimensional beings like Beatrice. And besides, you can’t defend or evade it anyway. You need to counter it with something of equal power like another Truth.
Agreed but as long as im concerned, Save page and game over screen are actually kind of a pocket dimension in a differemt plane of reality that can you can only access trough save points, or beign broken as hell, but still, she would just die over and over

With the Touhou entrance I thought is an undertale and a touhou character really about to take down an Umineko character? Then the battle progressed with Dlanor stomping both and it made a whole lot more sense.

For umineko scalers. Is my Beatrice with freedom hax valid? So basically Beatrice is able to draw the Seventh Magic Circle of the Sun which allows someone to gain freedom, and escape from any prison right? Then Maria quotes “The word ‘bonds’ is not limited in it’s interpretation to some kind of physical object. Therefore is doesn’t hold meaning for people locked up in actual jail.” “It can also refer to the release from mental bonds such as ties of obligation and inescapable fate.” This pretty much grants Beatrice freedom hax.
I'm not exactly a scaler but I think I can answer this. As a Territory Witch, Beatrice's powers are limited to her domain, so basically she can escape any prison (physical or otherwise) as long as it's inside her "catbox". For example, if a stronger witch like Bern or Lambda imprisons her in a Fragment outside of her gameboard, it would be impossible for her to escape because her magic doesn't work outside her territory. Also, even inside her territory some characters can trap her in a room with their own hax, like Dlanor did in Episode 5, so her freedom hax does have some limits.
Would a Touhou character or Yukari be able to restore Chara's Determination abilities? Because unless that can be done by either keeping Dlanor out or making the Game Over Room undetectable by the Red Truth than Chara is screwed here if her and Yukari lose this fight. Also you said that Dlanor would probably excuse Yukari while Chara would be executed right, well why would Dlanor let Yukari go after ripping her arm off?

I could see Lambdadelta from Umineko helping Chara though, she's the embodiment of the idea that "hard workers are rewarded" and often helps people with a lot of determination and willpower if she thinks they'll entertain her.
I immediately come here after seeing the title. Out of all crossover materials you could've chosen, you chose umineko. I think it's a good choice as it balance the complete power house that is touhou. The animation is also spectacular, you're really improving a lot. I would love to see the other youkai sages like Okina or Kasen in your story tho, as they are also a big part of gensokyo. If by chance you accept request, i would love to see a "paradoxical" battle. Like omega flowey vs yuuka. Yuuka obviously overpowered Flowey in raw power, however Flowey possess the ability to save and load. Yuuka couldn't really "kill" flowey as she doesn't possess any notable 4d/5d hax, but flowey couldn't also kill Yuuka as he lacks the strength and power to do it Or maybe GER vs Sagume Both of the character has the ability to change fate. GER will always reach the truth while Sagume could alter the truth Or just put the 3 devas (Suika, Kasen , and Yuugi) vs 3 Saiyans (Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan). It's pretty much fight of raw power

You're over exaggerating about Touhou being a powerhouse, lol And Omega Flowey does have plenty of other haxes as well, such as Warping Reality, Information Manipulation, and Matter Manipulation, also Flowey's strength reaches immeasurable when in his Omega form.

Even GER hax doesn't compare to that absolute cheat that is Junko's Purification I do agree Omega flowey possess such ability, even in his base form his reality warping is really powerful. HOWEVER, tell me one scene in undertale where Flowey used that reality warp ability to "hurt" anyone. Ex : such manipulation could mean that he possesses the ability to insta kill anyone without even touching them with physical attack, or just perform non physical and non mental offensive attack There is NONE of that, even in Omega form, he couldn't just think "oh you'll be dead" and the Frisk just died. He NEEDS to attack Frisk to kill them. And every bullshit attacks that flowey and Omega Flowey threw at you are magical, physical, and bullet patterned attack. Even his insta kill at his final battle when he was almost defeated are in the form of vines and white bullet pallets which are still physical and magical attacks. Its not so much different from Yuuka And do you even know who Yuuka is? She's one of the character who defeated Shinki, the creator of infinite time and space that is Makai and also the creator of life form higher than human that is Makai residents. She is the so called "infinite being" and also the only God in touhou series with a capital G. Being able to defeat her means that Yuuka possess a certain resistance to reality warping as even the very concept of death wasn't able to take her life. Her physical and magical power are on par or even greater than the onis, and the onis possess strength comparable to Yukari. Being able to shatter the heaven and creating black holes. Yuuka is pretty much a power house, even in the series, there are very few people who is able to "hurt" her and we're talking about touhou here. She is pretty much almost invulnerable to physical and magical attacks. Which are the only way for Flowey to offensively hurt anything. However that being said, Yuuka doesn't possess any notable reality hax, she do posses a certaim resistance to it, but she doesn't has instant win button. Which is why i think their battle would be interesting. It's the very definition of unstoppable force vs immovable object
@@naufaldreamer270 Uh no, you're giving Touhou WAY too much credit, I don't really know about Jojo, but franchises like Sonic, Mario, and of course Undertale, possibly Dragon Ball would give Touhou a good run for there money, so no, they aren't out of reach compare to other franchises. And I don't really know what you're talking about when mentioning Omega Flowey, something about him not insta killing Frisk or something, I don't really get your point here, considering that if that did happen then there would be no game, but you do know that Frisk's determination allows them to survive anything and everything, right? That's probably one of the reason why he couldn't one shot them, though if Frisk wasn't determined, then yeah, that could be the case.

This sprite animation is really cool, though as a Yukari fan, I have to note that Yukari is the manifestation of the very concept of boundaries. You can't really truly kill her without destroying that, and boundaries are an extra-omnipresent concept. I don't know anything about Dlanor or the series she comes from, but if she could destroy the concept of boundaries itself, it would still be... Inadvisable. That being said, Yukari clearly planned this from the beginning, seeing as she sent Chara there in the first place and Yukari tends to know everything. She's pretty in character in these videos and I like that because not a lot of fight animations get her character.
if yukai herself is a concept, plus her power causes her to rely on concepts, then that just means she dies even more easily. dlanor is unaffected by concepts as a whole, and her weapon erases any and all concepts that are in the way of its execution.
Amazing animation. On another note, i shall speak an irrelevant opinion. I dislike how one sided this fight felt like. While yes, it looked amazing, entertaining and all. It just felt like Dlanor was just playing with her opponents. Which adds onto her dialogue. She continues to act so mighty. And as the animation demonstrates, she can back up the talk. I dislike characters who has abilities/skills that can over power their opponents. I literally know nothing about Dlanor, but she broke through the respawn area where Chara spawns in. She even slapped Yukari silly to the ground and still says “hoping for a decent fight”. It just annoys me. I like to watch fights where it has many opportunities for both fighters to win. a 50/50 fight as they use every tools on their kit. Fights like those tend to keep me intruiged on how the fight will end. Literally anyone could win, all there needs to be is _one slip up to secure the win._ However, one sided fights (if portrayed seriously) just doesn’t work for me unfortunately. Character A: Has limited abilities/tools that can help them overcome obstacles when needed. Given knowledge and experience, they will succeed in their fight with great effort. Character B: hehe space and time go *_bBRRRrrrRRrrRrrrr_* I guess i would say that i prefer simple fights thats fast paced but isn’t too hectic. Possibly referencing dragon ball fights since they look cool and fun to watch. I only see one sided fights being useful in terms of the Comedy Category. If used seriously, it’ll only stroke a character’s ego about how great they are and how “truly pointless this fight is.”

However, I won't go into debate with you about "which character is better at manipulating concepts" because I haven't done enough research about Dlanor or Umineko and I'm too lazy too anyways. Just here to correct you on that if you think Yukari couldn't manipulate concepts, because any concept that can be different, or any two concepts that are different, are technically, a boundary, and removing said boundaries can cause the concepts to fade or become meaningless.
@@hiiragii not really wank. It does say that Yukari's ability can delete or create existence, and is not limited to physical space. Interpret it however you want, but it's enough evidence for me to believe that conceptual boundaries are not outside of her influence. Flandre's ability is less vague than Yukari's, because it does specifically state that she can only destroy objects/material, which means physical things, not concepts or the laws of physics.

For the people saying that Yukari is above Dlanor, here’s some proof that she isn’t. In the original release of the game, one of the human-characters:Jessica, sings a Touhou fan-song. In other words, all of Touhou is fictional in the Umineko human-realm. This means that not only could Dlanor STOMP Yukari with absolutely no issues, but an ANT on Rokkenjima could solo the most powerful Touhou characters. Stay mad, Yukari wankers.

She's from a VN called Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. To summarize, almost every character (even some of the low tiers) in Umineko are so stupendously broken that most of the characters manipulate and control multiverses with as much ease as breathing and control concepts and reign over infinite dimensions. Dlanor A. Knox wields the Red Key, with it's sole purpose being to deny the existence of any target. It is impossible to dodge, block, etc. If you are it's target, you will erased/get hit.
Purely powerwise, I'd be around this. If not somewhat way lower because of the 'higher/lower planes' -stuff in Umineko, which renders everything meaningless depending on if your 'plane' is higher/lower than the other

honestly i believe this fight depends on how hax we consider the power of determination; the wiki of indomitable will suggests some pretty broken capacities, so depending on how far this can be pushed regarding a literal spirit of determination Chara may win or may lose. because if the determination is strong enough Chara could resist against conceptual erasure, as in literally powering through the ability to erase concepts and logic with just pure sheer force of will and nothing else
Even if we consider that possible (which considering the canon and feats showed so far it isn't) the best it would do is resulting in a stalemate, Dlanor can't get rid of Chara's existance and neither can Chara kill Dlanor due to her abstract nature.

Alright so I've done my research on all of the games, and I have came to a conclusion: 1. Chara obviously should have been obliterated to absolute space by now because Dlanor has so many hax it's absolutely terrifying. I'm surprised they even got that far even with save file cheats. So Chara getting absolutely curbstomped by Dlanor is really accurate. 2. Dlanor's hax are so unbeatable it's actually scary. She has so many manipulation abilities, many including effing up space and reality fabrics as well as pure wanking off the concept of immortality to the absolute next level. I honestly think she would obliterate the 4th wall if she wanted to. 3. Old lady with hax.(Yukari) Here's when things start to get innacurate. Yukari technically is immune to physical attacks, so arm wouldn't be cut off. Also you would need some danmaku the size of Alabama to damage gap hag, and to do that you summon GENSOKYO CHARAKTA. And finding out that Dlanor has SUMMONING HAX I'm proud to say that she's super bloody wanked to the point of no return. You actually need to give her the most sad, retarded AI to operate her on mugen and make her deal with Reimu (probably the most broken character in mugen) to actually make her fail. But then another feat that makes her absolutely yanked to outer space: SHES A BLOODY 100000000 IQ MOVE PERSON. She's supposed to be the absolute smartest bloody person that the world has ever seen and that feat is so wanked off even Reimu is afraid. Now let's get to GAPPU HAGGU. 4. 1700 YEAR OLD LADY WITH BIG HAX. She could eff up like, every manipulation ability on her and walk her to outer space by pushing her because boundary manip. But naw. She got TRAINS TOO. Hag sent out so many trains to this immortal grape sherbet hair teenager and didn't dent her. Why? BECAUSE YUKERI IS ESTUPIDO AND DID NOT YANK HER IMMORTALITY BOUNDARY AWAY. But still I honestly think Yukari would have been rugby tackled even if Dlanor didn't have immortality hax. And add the fact that the "GIMME LEGS BOY" move is so wanked that Yukaris didn't even have to touch the victim to k.o. them so arm thing was deff blown out of proportion. Also unless Dlanor can act with damn telekinesis bordr destroyers arm shouldn't have been sliced off either. 5. Durability: Dlanor Speed: Dlanor Range: Dlanor Stamina: Dlanor Intelligence: Tie. So if Yukari had no spell card rules ductaped to her, had big assist from Chen and Ran and Maybe Okina Matara, she might have been helped enough that she could beat Dlanor in hax with Chen and Ran and Matara operating on hax as well, with them maybe all going full power and bloody obliterated everything in sight, plus Yukaris manip. Her own speed to be faster than Dlanor before battle, then I think she could beat her. But either way, as much as I love touhou and have wanked Yukari to the absolute core, there is no way Yukeris could beat Dlanor alone with rules on her back.

@@akiraeditz. Umm no, johnny needs to go through a lengthy process in order for act 4 to actually work which is time he won't have fighting Dlanor. Vanilla Ice will also get blitzed before he can do anything with Cream, and same with Pucci since he doesn't start out with infinite speed, he needs time to accelerate to get to that point. I'm not trying to make Jojo sound weak, but Dlanor really is on an entirely different level that jojo can't really compare to.

In case Igot wants to add something, I'll do it for now. Dlanor's durability, considering all Umineko episodes, is decently high as she is capable of fighting witches, which are broken reality warpers who can do essentially whatever they want, even blowing up the moon or destroying fragments containing alternate possibilities, on a daily basis (although she currently has little time to do so considering all the bureaucratic stuff she has to do). In the truth system, she was able to act normally even with multiple truths skewering her (although keep in mind that in depends on how powerful the truth is in the first place). Also, remember that the plain of existence in which Dlanor resides is the most important aspect as she can't just go wherever she wants in the meta (requires external help to change territory) and lesser manifestations are just avatars, so it's like hurting someone's hologram/picture.
Frisk at level 20 does over 10 billion damage, and a regular human in Undertale dies after just 20 damage, and Chara deals so much damage that it goes off screen, the number is so high that there’s not even a number for it, Chara could definitely 1 shot anyone who’s not invulnerable to damage, and even if Chara can’t land a hit, they can just keep trying until they eventually do, it’s not really a match unless you take their ability to reset away, that’s why battles with Frisk/Chara are uninteresting, because it’s either they win, or they are stuck in an endless battle… unfortunately there isn’t really a character from Undertale that’s insanely powerful, but still beatable… It’s either infinite power, or someone like Sans who would just get obliterated by any of these people, there’s no in-between
Not really, not only is this only a gameplay aspect but is also a pretty vague one that doesn't specify how much "destruction" and physical damage Chara can do with her "1 billion damage", assuming she could One shot a Multiversal Character because of a vague damage system is just wrong. Also you can tell that the creator of this video doesn’t know much about Undertale because they put Chara as the one fighting Sans when it’s supposed to be Frisk at level 19, if it was really Chara that was fighting Sans, then Sans would die instantly, and it wouldn’t even make sense for Chara to be there… Also they made it seem like the reset ability is a space that Frisk/Chara can enter and think about what they want to do when it’s not, Frisk isn’t in time when they are respawning and they don’t have to activate anything to respawn, the save point is going to auto respawn them no matter what anyway… As soon as Frisk dies, for everyone else they are instantly back, and that’s assuming that they can even remember the past reset… It’s a place that you the player activates while everyone and everything in the game is completely frozen… It’s still a cool animation tho

Even after all these years, this battle is still amazing. It's also interesting to see someone as powerful as Yukari get put in the corner, since her control over boundaries is so broken, but I guest no matter how strong someone is, they's always someone stronger.
This was an incredible battle, Umineko characters don't get used enough in these kinds of things!! I'd love to see you do more, maybe bring in Battler, Rosa and the other higher plan characters for cool battles like this; especially with how surprisingly strong they all are because of everything lore wise

If you actually want to know how this fight will ACTUALLY end, Dlanor will just straight up one slash Chara from the start, and there's nothing Chara could do because her sword(yeah the red and blue ones) cannot be dodged by any means, it's a One Hit Guaranteed Kill Sword that will Destroy any Logic/Concept just to kill her opponent

@@coolchrisable What makes Dlanor so strong is her conceptual manipulation hax, The Red Key doesn't just deny defensive methods but concepts itself, even the concept of the target is denied (Chara and Yukari in this case). The only way to defend yourself against this is having another Red Key, Conceptual Weapon, Conceptual Manipulation, Resistance to this kind of hax or a better hax, which is something neither Yukari or Chara posses. That's why they lost.

Man, I can't believe I missed this animation. You did some really good work with this one. Keep up the good work. I don't know much about Umineko, but I did look into the replies of your comments and saw some pretty crazy stuff. Anyways, the storyline was interesting and gave a good backstory to the fight. Movements were pretty fluid and the combos were very well done. Using a good amount of the abilities of the characters throughout the fight must've really been hard on you and your computer, but still it really put together everything under a well done bow. I can't say much for pacing 'cause I'm not a animator, but it was just right for this battle.
In the end this is a good animation and you've come a good ways. I hope you have a good day and keep on bringing out quality animations like this.
Also, just a small side thing, I think you could possibly fit in nicely with the Hyun Dojo community. They give out better pointers than me.

And you're right it was pretty hard to do some of the movements, abilities, etc. Mostly because the program i use to animate kept crashing and corrupting my files, and the computer lagging '^-^ that made making the scenes harder and some of them even got deleted, i liked the result but it could be better, i plan on remaking this someday tho. Dlanor is my favorite Umineko character and seeing her for the first time in battle makes me happy. And I'm glad she won this battle between both Chara and Yukari Yakumo.
I wouldn't say she won yet, because this is like a story with parts, but yeah, if that wasn't the case, she can take on both Chara and Yukari.

This is a spicy one. On the one hand Yukari could theoretically shift the boundaries of what is, and what is not a mystery. Conversely Dlanor can counter just about everything a fantasy creature does simply by applying Knox's Second. Normally I'd side with Touhou, given that their abilities tend to be BS, however Dlanor is Kryptonite to that particular style of BS.
Also I'm biased, but that is by-the-by.
Sadly, as much as I love touhou dlanor kinda stomps. She's comparable to willard who easily sliced a kakera in half and each kakera is known as having higher and lower worlds making it an Outerverse and Heaven exist above the infinite sea of fragments so yeah.

Would love to discuss this with you ingot but I have high doubts you’ll ever see this. I would argue that this matchup is a hard stalemate. Let me explain why
Chara has absolutely no way of ever, no matter how many loads of their save file, hurting Dlanor, and absolutely never getting in a fatal injury. Chara is universal in AP and possibly relativistic to light speed. This is absolutely nothing to Dlanor, who’s sword (red key) is impossible to dodge or block unless you also possess a red key. Chara would try and try, but they’d never ever get close to a hit, and considering Dlanor is hyper complex multiversal in AP, as well as concept hax, there is absolutely no possible way for chara to hurt her. Even if theoretically Dlanor was an idiot and just let chara destroy the universe, it really wouldn’t even affect her and if needed her true form could tank it without a care in the world.
Dlanor on the other hand doesn’t have a way to fully kill chara. Here’s why
The save screen in undertale is never characterized as a separate/pocket dimension like it is here or in things like glitchtale. It can be argued that the save screen is on another conceptual tier of fiction compared to everything else. Think about it. When frisk/chara die, their soul is obliterated. Flowey states that the soul is the very “culmination of one’s being”. When the soul is broken, nothing is left. It’s not like when they die their soul is transported to a save screen, there’s absolutely nothing to transport. They are gone, erased from reality. Absolutely nothing is left of them and they frankly no longer exist. The save screen is a realm (if you even wanna call it that) that’s beyond the fiction of undertale. It’s a level beyond that absolutely no one can enter unless you are the one with the highest determination in the timeline. Even if the entire multiverse was destroyed, and chara was killed by red key, which can fuck with concepts, they, or rather their determination, would still theoretically be back on the save screen, with determination bringing them back. Dlanor can erase the concept of chara from existence, but the save screen as well as the save and load options could provide a conceptual tier higher level of defense. And if you would say “well Dlanor would erase chara before they go to the save screen” like I said the save screen isn’t a place. It’s a higher concept that allows one to control the fiction they are in. There’s no travel time, it’s instant.
Overall, it would devolve into chara infinitely using save and load to cause a stalemate. Even using red key on chara wouldn’t stop save and load, due to the aforementioned higher conceptual tier of defense provided by the save and load screen. Dlanor would kill chara every singe time with negative difficulty. Some would say chara would lose their determination eventually knowing they wouldn’t win, but I think it’s very in character for them to, rather than admit defeat, keep going and going as a form of unknowing infinite torture to Dlanor. Chara can be a bitch when it comes to someone killing her.

The argument doesn't work because Umineko and Undertale work on different levels of meta narration.
Undertale is basic as it's Undertale that views itself as a game and the player that has a SOUL, which represents their control in the game.
In the fiction, the save and load feature is nothing but a power that allows the user to reset events in a certain period of time when dead (not erased in the sense of existence erasure, you don't need to see a SOUL reforming and being sent in the Game Over screen to get that it's a representation of the player resetting after death. Chara doesn't have a SOUL nor a body anymore and yet it appears to the player in the genocide run), the characters don't have actual awareness of the player itself, but of its SOUL and DETERMINATION, they don't have actual awareness of the SAVE/LOAD, but of its effects on the world (only some 4th wall breaks that aren't exactly that).
Another game that interacts with the player's menus is NieR: Automata where 9S modifies certain parameters of the player's screen setting: does this mean that those units can control settings of a higher level of fiction or it's just for show? To say that breaking the 4th wall isn't necessarily a higher layer of control, especially when the fiction doesn't establish it (Undertale talks to the player through the actions of their SOUL, not at the player itself, which would make Chara's appearance in the genocide run as useless).
Umineko is even more meta: multiple layers of fiction exist (in Umineko, we see that the gameboard where the murders happen is but a game played by Beatrice and Battler, which is also a fictional story alongside infinite others, some higher, some lower dimensionally) and those layers themselves might be fictional or not (in the writing of the Rokkenjima murders, what we see of the meta world and characters might be just an elaborate series of metaphors or messages created by the author for the reader, a specific reader that it's not us).
During episode 5, everyone is sent in the Court of Illusions, an even higher layer of reality than Beatrice's world (called "catbox", which is composed by infinite possibilities and multiple higher dimensions as seen during the first 4 episodes) to discuss the fate of the catbox through the 5th game.
Characters use truths, who are a literal representation of the visual novel text used as weapons, aka plot and reality manipulation via text.
Meta beings in Umineko are non-existent in nature and capable of reforming, even when the reality of a gameboard is destroyed, just by thinking.
The way they "kill" the opponent in Umi is, in fact, done with truths as, to a degree, truths themselves can stop characters' regeneration/resurrection indefinitely or even eternally (the degree of the truth varies depending on what the truth means and in which layer of reality is used. This to reinforce the idea that a "higher conceptual tier of defense" can be negated by Dlanor since she can manifest in even higher layers of reality, where even Beatrice's catbox is seen as nothing but a fragment/book).
There is also alternative way to stop a meta being, an example being Bern that threatens to throw another character into the depths of oblivion, a place in the meta world where only specific individuals can interact and escape from and the rest simply lays there forever, incapable of doing anything (similar to how pieces in the gameboard have an area in the game where they are put when unused or dead).

Red Key has worked on far higher cosmologies than the SAVE function in Undertale, with the latter being limited to a universe with at least 100 timelines, (according to the FUN Value system) and the former having the capability to one-shot infinite dimensional beings like Beatrice.
And besides, you can’t defend or evade it anyway. You need to counter it with something of equal power like another Truth.

With the Touhou entrance I thought is an undertale and a touhou character really about to take down an Umineko character? Then the battle progressed with Dlanor stomping both and it made a whole lot more sense.

So basically Beatrice is able to draw the Seventh Magic Circle of the Sun which allows someone to gain freedom, and escape from any prison right? Then Maria quotes “The word ‘bonds’ is not limited in it’s interpretation to some kind of physical object. Therefore is doesn’t hold meaning for people locked up in actual jail.” “It can also refer to the release from mental bonds such as ties of obligation and inescapable fate.” This pretty much grants Beatrice freedom hax.
I'm not exactly a scaler but I think I can answer this.
As a Territory Witch, Beatrice's powers are limited to her domain, so basically she can escape any prison (physical or otherwise) as long as it's inside her "catbox". For example, if a stronger witch like Bern or Lambda imprisons her in a Fragment outside of her gameboard, it would be impossible for her to escape because her magic doesn't work outside her territory. Also, even inside her territory some characters can trap her in a room with their own hax, like Dlanor did in Episode 5, so her freedom hax does have some limits.

I immediately come here after seeing the title. Out of all crossover materials you could've chosen, you chose umineko. I think it's a good choice as it balance the complete power house that is touhou. The animation is also spectacular, you're really improving a lot.
I would love to see the other youkai sages like Okina or Kasen in your story tho, as they are also a big part of gensokyo.

Like omega flowey vs yuuka. Yuuka obviously overpowered Flowey in raw power, however Flowey possess the ability to save and load. Yuuka couldn't really "kill" flowey as she doesn't possess any notable 4d/5d hax, but flowey couldn't also kill Yuuka as he lacks the strength and power to do it

I do agree Omega flowey possess such ability, even in his base form his reality warping is really powerful. HOWEVER, tell me one scene in undertale where Flowey used that reality warp ability to "hurt" anyone.

There is NONE of that, even in Omega form, he couldn't just think "oh you'll be dead" and the Frisk just died. He NEEDS to attack Frisk to kill them. And every bullshit attacks that flowey and Omega Flowey threw at you are magical, physical, and bullet patterned attack. Even his insta kill at his final battle when he was almost defeated are in the form of vines and white bullet pallets which are still physical and magical attacks. Its not so much different from Yuuka

She's one of the character who defeated Shinki, the creator of infinite time and space that is Makai and also the creator of life form higher than human that is Makai residents. She is the so called "infinite being" and also the only God in touhou series with a capital G. Being able to defeat her means that Yuuka possess a certain resistance to reality warping as even the very concept of death wasn't able to take her life. Her physical and magical power are on par or even greater than the onis, and the onis possess strength comparable to Yukari. Being able to shatter the heaven and creating black holes. Yuuka is pretty much a power house, even in the series, there are very few people who is able to "hurt" her and we're talking about touhou here. She is pretty much almost invulnerable to physical and magical attacks. Which are the only way for Flowey to offensively hurt anything. However that being said, Yuuka doesn't possess any notable reality hax, she do posses a certaim resistance to it, but she doesn't has instant win button. Which is why i think their battle would be interesting. It's the very definition of unstoppable force vs immovable object

This sprite animation is really cool, though as a Yukari fan, I have to note that Yukari is the manifestation of the very concept of boundaries. You can't really truly kill her without destroying that, and boundaries are an extra-omnipresent concept. I don't know anything about Dlanor or the series she comes from, but if she could destroy the concept of boundaries itself, it would still be... Inadvisable.
That being said, Yukari clearly planned this from the beginning, seeing as she sent Chara there in the first place and Yukari tends to know everything. She's pretty in character in these videos and I like that because not a lot of fight animations get her character.

if yukai herself is a concept, plus her power causes her to rely on concepts, then that just means she dies even more easily. dlanor is unaffected by concepts as a whole, and her weapon erases any and all concepts that are in the way of its execution.

On another note, i shall speak an irrelevant opinion.
I dislike how one sided this fight felt like. While yes, it looked amazing, entertaining and all. It just felt like Dlanor was just playing with her opponents. Which adds onto her dialogue. She continues to act so mighty. And as the animation demonstrates, she can back up the talk.
I dislike characters who has abilities/skills that can over power their opponents. I literally know nothing about Dlanor, but she broke through the respawn area where Chara spawns in. She even slapped Yukari silly to the ground and still says “hoping for a decent fight”. It just annoys me.
I like to watch fights where it has many opportunities for both fighters to win. a 50/50 fight as they use every tools on their kit. Fights like those tend to keep me intruiged on how the fight will end. Literally anyone could win, all there needs to be is _one slip up to secure the win._
However, one sided fights (if portrayed seriously) just doesn’t work for me unfortunately. Character A: Has limited abilities/tools that can help them overcome obstacles when needed. Given knowledge and experience, they will succeed in their fight with great effort. Character B: hehe space and time go *_bBRRRrrrRRrrRrrrr_*
I guess i would say that i prefer simple fights thats fast paced but isn’t too hectic. Possibly referencing dragon ball fights since they look cool and fun to watch. I only see one sided fights being useful in terms of the Comedy Category. If used seriously, it’ll only stroke a character’s ego about how great they are and how “truly pointless this fight is.”

Yukari can manipulate boundaries between anything perfectly, similar to Dlanor with concepts so its like burning fire with fire
Dlanor can manipulate concepts and she is one, so that ability wouldn't work on her.

However, I won't go into debate with you about "which character is better at manipulating concepts" because I haven't done enough research about Dlanor or Umineko and I'm too lazy too anyways. Just here to correct you on that if you think Yukari couldn't manipulate concepts, because any concept that can be different, or any two concepts that are different, are technically, a boundary, and removing said boundaries can cause the concepts to fade or become meaningless.

@@hiiragii not really wank. It does say that Yukari's ability can delete or create existence, and is not limited to physical space. Interpret it however you want, but it's enough evidence for me to believe that conceptual boundaries are not outside of her influence. Flandre's ability is less vague than Yukari's, because it does specifically state that she can only destroy objects/material, which means physical things, not concepts or the laws of physics.

In the original release of the game, one of the human-characters:Jessica, sings a Touhou fan-song. In other words, all of Touhou is fictional in the Umineko human-realm.
This means that not only could Dlanor STOMP Yukari with absolutely no issues, but an ANT on Rokkenjima could solo the most powerful Touhou characters.

Who is this Dlanor A Knox woman?
She's from a VN called Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. To summarize, almost every character (even some of the low tiers) in Umineko are so stupendously broken that most of the characters manipulate and control multiverses with as much ease as breathing and control concepts and reign over infinite dimensions. Dlanor A. Knox wields the Red Key, with it's sole purpose being to deny the existence of any target. It is impossible to dodge, block, etc. If you are it's target, you will erased/get hit.
This is basically how yukari vs eiki would probably go.

Purely powerwise, I'd be around this. If not somewhat way lower because of the 'higher/lower planes' -stuff in Umineko, which renders everything meaningless depending on if your 'plane' is higher/lower than the other

honestly i believe this fight depends on how hax we consider the power of determination; the wiki of indomitable will suggests some pretty broken capacities, so depending on how far this can be pushed regarding a literal spirit of determination Chara may win or may lose. because if the determination is strong enough Chara could resist against conceptual erasure, as in literally powering through the ability to erase concepts and logic with just pure sheer force of will and nothing else
Even if we consider that possible (which considering the canon and feats showed so far it isn't) the best it would do is resulting in a stalemate, Dlanor can't get rid of Chara's existance and neither can Chara kill Dlanor due to her abstract nature.

Alright so I've done my research on all of the games, and I have came to a conclusion:
1. Chara obviously should have been obliterated to absolute space by now because Dlanor has so many hax it's absolutely terrifying. I'm surprised they even got that far even with save file cheats. So Chara getting absolutely curbstomped by Dlanor is really accurate.
2. Dlanor's hax are so unbeatable it's actually scary. She has so many manipulation abilities, many including effing up space and reality fabrics as well as pure wanking off the concept of immortality to the absolute next level. I honestly think she would obliterate the 4th wall if she wanted to.
3. Old lady with hax.(Yukari)
Here's when things start to get innacurate. Yukari technically is immune to physical attacks, so arm wouldn't be cut off. Also you would need some danmaku the size of Alabama to damage gap hag, and to do that you summon GENSOKYO CHARAKTA. And finding out that Dlanor has SUMMONING HAX I'm proud to say that she's super bloody wanked to the point of no return. You actually need to give her the most sad, retarded AI to operate her on mugen and make her deal with Reimu (probably the most broken character in mugen) to actually make her fail. But then another feat that makes her absolutely yanked to outer space: SHES A BLOODY 100000000 IQ MOVE PERSON. She's supposed to be the absolute smartest bloody person that the world has ever seen and that feat is so wanked off even Reimu is afraid. Now let's get to GAPPU HAGGU.
4. 1700 YEAR OLD LADY WITH BIG HAX. She could eff up like, every manipulation ability on her and walk her to outer space by pushing her because boundary manip. But naw. She got TRAINS TOO. Hag sent out so many trains to this immortal grape sherbet hair teenager and didn't dent her. Why? BECAUSE YUKERI IS ESTUPIDO AND DID NOT YANK HER IMMORTALITY BOUNDARY AWAY. But still I honestly think Yukari would have been rugby tackled even if Dlanor didn't have immortality hax. And add the fact that the "GIMME LEGS BOY" move is so wanked that Yukaris didn't even have to touch the victim to k.o. them so arm thing was deff blown out of proportion. Also unless Dlanor can act with damn telekinesis bordr destroyers arm shouldn't have been sliced off either.
5. Durability: Dlanor
Speed: Dlanor
Range: Dlanor
Stamina: Dlanor
Intelligence: Tie.
So if Yukari had no spell card rules ductaped to her, had big assist from Chen and Ran and Maybe Okina Matara, she might have been helped enough that she could beat Dlanor in hax with Chen and Ran and Matara operating on hax as well, with them maybe all going full power and bloody obliterated everything in sight, plus Yukaris manip. Her own speed to be faster than Dlanor before battle, then I think she could beat her.
But either way, as much as I love touhou and have wanked Yukari to the absolute core, there is no way Yukeris could beat Dlanor alone with rules on her back.

@@akiraeditz. Umm no, johnny needs to go through a lengthy process in order for act 4 to actually work which is time he won't have fighting Dlanor.
Vanilla Ice will also get blitzed before he can do anything with Cream, and same with Pucci since he doesn't start out with infinite speed, he needs time to accelerate to get to that point. I'm not trying to make Jojo sound weak, but Dlanor really is on an entirely different level that jojo can't really compare to.

In case Igot wants to add something, I'll do it for now.
Dlanor's durability, considering all Umineko episodes, is decently high as she is capable of fighting witches, which are broken reality warpers who can do essentially whatever they want, even blowing up the moon or destroying fragments containing alternate possibilities, on a daily basis (although she currently has little time to do so considering all the bureaucratic stuff she has to do).
In the truth system, she was able to act normally even with multiple truths skewering her (although keep in mind that in depends on how powerful the truth is in the first place).
Also, remember that the plain of existence in which Dlanor resides is the most important aspect as she can't just go wherever she wants in the meta (requires external help to change territory) and lesser manifestations are just avatars, so it's like hurting someone's hologram/picture.
Frisk at level 20 does over 10 billion damage, and a regular human in Undertale dies after just 20 damage, and Chara deals so much damage that it goes off screen, the number is so high that there’s not even a number for it, Chara could definitely 1 shot anyone who’s not invulnerable to damage, and even if Chara can’t land a hit, they can just keep trying until they eventually do, it’s not really a match unless you take their ability to reset away, that’s why battles with Frisk/Chara are uninteresting, because it’s either they win, or they are stuck in an endless battle… unfortunately there isn’t really a character from Undertale that’s insanely powerful, but still beatable… It’s either infinite power, or someone like Sans who would just get obliterated by any of these people, there’s no in-between
Not really, not only is this only a gameplay aspect but is also a pretty vague one that doesn't specify how much "destruction" and physical damage Chara can do with her "1 billion damage", assuming she could One shot a Multiversal Character because of a vague damage system is just wrong. @@Чешуйчатый-д9м watch the end of the Genocide route my guy, Frisk at level 20 instantly kills Asgore with 10 billion damage, you can check the numbers, and after that Chara kills Frisk with a number that is so high that it goes off the screen, and then proceeds to erase the timeline and create a new one… Also it is said that Asriel has infinite stats meaning he’s infinite power, but Asriel is way less OP than Frisk or Chara because there are ways to bypass immortality, while Frisk or Chara can’t die and stay dead

Also you can tell that the creator of this video doesn’t know much about Undertale because they put Chara as the one fighting Sans when it’s supposed to be Frisk at level 19, if it was really Chara that was fighting Sans, then Sans would die instantly, and it wouldn’t even make sense for Chara to be there… Also they made it seem like the reset ability is a space that Frisk/Chara can enter and think about what they want to do when it’s not, Frisk isn’t in time when they are respawning and they don’t have to activate anything to respawn, the save point is going to auto respawn them no matter what anyway… As soon as Frisk dies, for everyone else they are instantly back, and that’s assuming that they can even remember the past reset… It’s a place that you the player activates while everyone and everything in the game is completely frozen… It’s still a cool animation tho
