@@GG-zb1uy Yeah, 682 follows multiple canons In his article he's shown to be contained by normal acid, which would lead us to believe he's not THAT strong. Then in his Experimentation Log he took on a spaceship that could nuke planets and was fine plus survived being in a story where the plot was him dying, pretty impressive feats, but in the same logs both the Peanut and the Shy Guy dealt some major damage to him and the lady who always leave her tasks almost finished...well, almost killed him, with he pleading for her to finish the job. So other normal SCPs could definitely take on him, but he has plot manipulation and could easily take on a Type I or II Civilisation. Then in the Tales we have things like he being the children of the Scarlet King, a multiversal threat if not hyperversal, with every instance of himself in every universe being just an avatar that if killed causes the death of the host universe and his true form is also multi/hyperversal...so yeah, pretty broken.

I really appreciate that man! The team is always trying to do more! Thats not a bad suggestion! Would wanna animate more fights like this but it all depends on how time goes
Actually a very interesting conclusion. There's no reason why that particular SCP wouldn't be able to have more determination than Chara, and there's evidence that Flowey had that reset power _until_ Chara/Frisk came along. Meaning whoever the more determined is ultimately contests for the ability. Normally, there are only humans or monsters, with human souls able to exhibit some traits VERY powerfully (why no one manages to truly contest their control), but an SCP could certainly be any number of unique in-betweeners or alternatives. 682 adapted to her ability to reset, so he invaded the load/reset screen. He then killed her there, making him the winner. It's always gonna be a draw. Unless they can come to an agreement, it'll go on forever But Chara would probably just give up before that could ever happen tbh
Nah SCP-682 eventually will overpower Charas ability to reverse time. The thing about him adapting is it would eventually overcome Charas ability to the point it wouldn't work on him. That's what happened at the end of the video.
going by what is 'canon' to 682 they lose to chara's reset and world erasure, especially the original which was literally just hyper adaptive but was not stated to be immortal by any stretch of the word OTHER than by aging or sickness.
Though, I think this would be a draw. Scp 682 can be killed, but it’s only been killed by O’death. That was also an alternative timeline, The foundation doesn’t know how O’death did it, and certainly Chara wouldn’t either. Chara couldn’t die either with They’re determination being out of the reach of 682. I doubt one could finish off the other. Good video though, very high quality and entertaining at the same time.
I have the theory that O'Death is just an universe where the Brothers Death destroyed and killed everything, so the only ones who can kill SCP-682 are the Brothers Death who are the most powerful entities in the SCPverse
You know, since 682 can survive being erased from existence, this makes me wonder... who wins? Dio Over Heaven from "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Eyes of Heaven" OR SCP-682? and even then, this makes me spawn other questions. Could 682 defeat Golden Experience Requiem, or Tusk act 4?
682 curbstomps them so bad it's insane, in fact the thought of 682 in Jojo makes me wonder if he could make himself a stand to kill everyone or just adapts to be able to damage Stands himself.
GER would work to some capacity, though if its used to reset him enough times He'll eventually adapt some form of work-around to it, if not an outright immunity. Typically, being significantly hurt or killed is what causes 682 to adapt, but enough exposure to anomalous form of containment tends to cause him to adapt in some way too. In theory Dio Over heaven could contain 682 so long as Dio is aware of 682's abilities and doesn't try to erase, kill, or otherwise trigger an especially annoying adaptation. It actually isn't that hard to contain 682, relatively speaking, but when you try with more firepower or esoteric abilties, thats when you start running into issues. if dio uses his abilities to indirectly allow for a scenario to capture 682 as foundation protocal, then yes he could. However Dio tends to fuck up sometimes, so this probably isn't in character. Tusk act 4, would be bad for everyone but 682 depending upon the answer. If we assume infinite rotation just lets him pass through any amount of flesh without issue, then you just make a hole that 682 quickly heals. If we assume getting hit by act 4 exposes 682 to 'infinite' damage, that'll likely be a worse scenario. Sufficient enough damage was, projected to be in a test log (didn't actually happened but was calculated in universe) to cause 682 to grow to three times the size of Jupiter. Given that he's regenerated from being well, completely erased from existence in multiple different occasions, then there is no amount of damage; infinite or not, that would actually stop him for good. In this interpretation, tusk act 4 triggers the end of the universe by 682.
682 vs Dio oh : he resisted reality warping so he could win 682 vs ger : his past can't be rewritten and so can't be affected by causality manip 682 vs tusk act 4: he would receive inf damage but that won't stop him from attacking and killing Johny

@@narrativeless404 The argument that Chara/Frisk deal with the actual codes of the games was for highball, and to Place/scale It higher (since i've seen many actually using it for some reason), but even then i was trying to say that even code mani wouldn't be enough to end 682 For the True form, i brought it to explain that 682 cannot be killed if his true form remain (even if there have been two exeption, one which was a meme, the other which is unknown). It is time alteration, but it is not an outside sources. 682 could easly survive and adapt to time alteration, since we have seen that he adapted to even Higher things (plot manipulation), but you are partially right, he always take much to end what cause the phenomena in his tales, but that's mostly Because most of the SCP he faced were object, not actual other beings
@@riccard1n0 I know what 682 is and what it can do, no need to explain S/L/R is not time alteration. Flow of time is unaffected, since what it's doing is basically just replacing the contents of a file during runtime by suspending it and then resuming after it's done. Chara is an outside entity, as they are just old memories given will to live and persist by *DT* and nothing more. I'm not saying 682 couldn't survive it -_- He absolutely would survive it. The point is that he wouldn't be able to defeat the cause. It doesn't matter if those SCPs are objects or beings bruh. Power scaling is power scaling, it's all treated the same. If that's the case, then i can just say: *DETERMINATION* isn't a being and it's not sentient, Chara we know is just a product of it's effect and Frisk is the vessel, like an avatar of 682 but with a will of it's own. In fact you could make this absolutely ridiculous argument with any Verse, like: "Cursed Energy isn't a being", "Ki isn't sentient", "Chaos Emeralds aren't sentient" etc. This is a flawed reasoning, since anything with power is literally the same. Much like how Universe doesn't really care about life or sentience, Power scaling doesn't care about whether it's an object or a being either.
Not with 682 he adapts mid fight which is why he was at the reset sequence with Chara at the end, he adapted and copied Charas reset power. And he doesn’t have a limit to what he can or can’t copy either.
So, this is interesting. SCP-682 has been shown to temporary 'copy' anomalous properties and incorporate them to often monstrous affect; especially when faced with the much more esoteric ones. Its not exactly consistent, he doesn't just copy scps when he's hurt by them, but when he is sufficiently 'destroyed' by certain scps he tends to revive or change entirely incorporating their power somehow. Even scps that are supposed to erase him from existence don't do the proper job, one example turned him into a non-existent phantom that was somehow able to kill people. (And then he later brought himself back to existence, which seems to be more of a quirk with his adaptations as whatever he evolves isn't permanent.) All that is to say, taking into account Chara's murder-god-complex determination ability, being exposed to that enough times was what probably killed chara in the long run. In theory it could have been a stalemate, but if we assume the 'infinite damage' is the ultimate weaponized form of their determination, then using that on SCP-682 is what let it beat chara at their own game. As exponential force used on SCP-682 causes him to hit back harder when he comes back, and seems to more or less factor for that aforementioned copy adaptation. Also this part is more opinion, but if we're comparing determination I'd think 682 wins. Chara may 'hate', but their fixation is more on just general murder and sadism. That is to say, violence is what ultimately fuels Chara. 682 is similar, but has some unexplainable bloodlust specifically to humans (where as chara is more general.) And more to the point, despite being around since creation and has been subjected to all matter of torture by the foundation (682 may be unkillable, but he very much experiences pain.) and yet no amount of abuse has rendered him docile. His normal containment is trapped within an acid vat, constantly burning and regeneration. This creature is essentially trapped in a living hell and yet continues to go berserk whenever the opportunity presents itself. There is an almost eldritch, alien element to that rage, and therefor determination, that I don't think chara can compare to despite being generally eldritch themselves.

Also she is trying to save Asriel in the True Pacifist, the memory that Frisk makes Asriel see of him and Chara is definitely not Frisk's and as we saw in the Neutral ending Flowey with 6 souls was able to have more Determination than Frisk, so either Frisk had more Determination in the True Pacifist OR she had also Chara's Determination to save Asriel
@@GG-zb1uy
Yeah, 682 follows multiple canons
In his article he's shown to be contained by normal acid, which would lead us to believe he's not THAT strong.

Excellently thought through. :) Your tactful thinking and well done animation just earned you a pretty tough sub to win. :)

Nah 682 is the boss fight you can't kill is more af a skill check that depends on how long you can survive against him
I think the idea was that 682 adapted to the time loop that was created from the constant resetting and reversing of time. That’s why instead of usually not being able to remember the previous encounter like most other beings that would fight her 682 did not at first, but it still did eventually and it used that to essentially prevent the fight from escalating in the first place, essentially doing its own, reset on the reset time, travel inception lol

682 adapted to her ability to reset, so he invaded the load/reset screen. He then killed her there, making him the winner. The reason he was able to do this is either because
A) of his determination to survive and kill humanity Was stronger then chara's determination.
B) Since he's adapted to things he shouldn't have been aware of before (Like being written out of existence, only to just reappear moments later), he adapted to her ability to reset time so that she could no longer use it to get the edge on him.

Chara can and does erase the timeline completely. If 682 could somehow withstand that, there's also the fact that *Chara is DEAD* and therefore cannot be killed. I feel like, perhaps, they would both realize that neither of them can kill the other, and so they'd sort out their differences to unite and destroy humanity, because, let's face it, neither of them like humans whatsoever.
682 literally adapted to existence erasure before and has came back into existence. So Chara has no way of killing 682 especially since Chara literally has no way of negating 682's adaptability and would adapt to anything Chara does.

Yes, SCP 682 stomps OH DIO and he stomps JoJo as a whole
682 vs Dio oh : he resisted reality warping so he could win
682 vs ger : his past can't be rewritten and so can't be affected by causality manip
682 vs tusk act 4: he would receive inf damage but that won't stop him from attacking and killing Johny

He survived and adapted to the Power of changing the plot of the story, and his real form reside above infinite hierarchy of dimensions, which see the lower one as fictional
@@riccard1n0 It wouldn't. S/L/R isn't time manipulation, it's Timeline alteration by an external entity. The game argument is irrelevant in power scaling, so throw that into the dumpster immediately. He survived and adapted to Narrative manipulation and Existence erasure, but he didn't actually terminate the SCPs that were used to try and kill him. And in this case, it's as if Frisk/Chara is an SCP trying to terminate 682, which yes, wouldn't work.
His real form is Low Outer and conceptual, but it's irrelevant in the conversation as we're debating Avatar 682 vs Frisk/Chara. Also the "sees the lower one as fiction" is never stated, but it's a fact that True 682 is the sum of all Avatars.
@@narrativeless404 The argument that Chara/Frisk deal with the actual codes of the games was for highball, and to Place/scale It higher (since i've seen many actually using it for some reason), but even then i was trying to say that even code mani wouldn't be enough to end 682
For the True form, i brought it to explain that 682 cannot be killed if his true form remain (even if there have been two exeption, one which was a meme, the other which is unknown).
@@riccard1n0 I know what 682 is and what it can do, no need to explain
S/L/R is not time alteration. Flow of time is unaffected, since what it's doing is basically just replacing the contents of a file during runtime by suspending it and then resuming after it's done. Chara is an outside entity, as they are just old memories given will to live and persist by *DT* and nothing more.
I'm not saying 682 couldn't survive it -_-
He absolutely would survive it.

SCP 682 WINS!
Chara is just a ghost with no particular anything, But if this is us The Player your scp 728-374+ monster wins.
Bro a human from scp negs chara no concept of diff cuz of cosmology
and its the ''Hard To Destroy Reptile''
So, this is interesting. SCP-682 has been shown to temporary 'copy' anomalous properties and incorporate them to often monstrous affect; especially when faced with the much more esoteric ones. Its not exactly consistent, he doesn't just copy scps when he's hurt by them, but when he is sufficiently 'destroyed' by certain scps he tends to revive or change entirely incorporating their power somehow. Even scps that are supposed to erase him from existence don't do the proper job, one example turned him into a non-existent phantom that was somehow able to kill people. (And then he later brought himself back to existence, which seems to be more of a quirk with his adaptations as whatever he evolves isn't permanent.)
All that is to say, taking into account Chara's murder-god-complex determination ability, being exposed to that enough times was what probably killed chara in the long run.
