if it ever comes back we do have confermation via jesse that people can go back to the train after a visit if another probelm occers. So we could see them board again should the show come back. Maby a book where the train has an error and brings back some random passangers or something
Are we gonna ignore that fact that the last time samantha saw simon was when she tried to warn hum about what he's doing that just led to his own death.. samantha tried to warn him and simon didnt listen.. and that was their final moments together

I really wish at 5:28 Simon would have said "au revoir, Samantha." Would have been much more impactful to learn her name there at the end of the episode rather than just casually later on when he comes back to the cabin.
Eh. I feel the opposite. I really like how casually he throws it out. It speaks to a higher level of familiarity, and while it's a surprise to us for them it's normal. It feels a lot more natural and a lot less scripted, without losing any impact because of the quiet build up that's led to it
Casually? You do remember that Simon was backed against a figurative wall? The girl he was friends with for years and trusted was shutting him out, he had no one to turn to. He goes back to the first person he ever trusted and uses her name to convince her to give him some kind of help. The first "Au revoir" was a goodbye saying that, while he still doesn't trust her, his hatred of her has gone down significantly. Meaning he trusted her enough to seek her out the second and last time where he uses her name.
@@LvXGameMaster I mean it's not used in a really highlighted dramatic manner. It's a dramatic scene, sure, but he doesn't dramatically declare her name at the very very end like OP has suggested, which I think would've been kind of a cliche 🤷🏾♀️
Not gonna lie, she's my favorite character by far on this show and for good reason. She has a complicated history (150 years pretty much guarantees that), she never tells you anything straight until it's basically the only choice left, and lastly she has moxy and plenty of it apparently. Overall she's a complex character and I would dare say sad because she didn't want Simon to get hurt and even when she could lie and lead him into only more danger she does actually try to warn him of the dangers he might face even though she knows his absolute hatred for her. And also when it comes to helping king Atticus she does help despite not liking him or at the very least belittling him when she can. Why can't more characters be like this?

Best character in the show
