Those who contributed to your and Hannah’s ingenuity, perseverance, knowledge, integrity, honesty and work ethic are to be commended. You and Hannah are great Christian American role models. Thank you. 🙏👍🇺🇸🚜
What makes this content So Good, is the very real mechanical technical content.... Measuring and narrowing a rear end! Awesome Stuff! And then the family about the hill climb and car shows! Even then struggle with the front wheel bearing when you are away from home. All of that is just real family experience. Thanks For Sharing!
You were broke down in the Imperial Lanes parking lot , right next to ISU Credit Union . If you would have walked a 1/2 a block farther south , there was a Hardees fast food , with plenty of stuff. I am really surprised you didnt have more people stop and offer help. Really surprised.
I think it's really cool you got to show the crosley to the guy you bought it from. And then got inducted into the membership club woohoo... LOL I got the Merlin reference.
Thanks, Cory, for the shop time. I enjoy seeing you make decisions as you build. That's how I've always done things. Most of the time, what I do works, and sometimes I have to punt. That's how you learn.
Love it...back to the roots. Videos like this is exactly what put you guys on the map. An epic build showing your skill set not to mention showcasing the relationship between you! Can’t wait for next week
Let this be a lesson for you two, never leave home without your toolbox and the parts that you know are common failures. I’m glad you got everything fixed up without too many problems (except your wallet). Stay safe.
I am getting ready to do a Cummins swap on my 1970 f350. Love the content. Hopefully it will be on our UA-cam channel this next spring. God bless you guys.
On the duelly diff the chev square body cab and chassis duelly is a lot norrow love the little fork lifti have a 1953 for van 132 in wheel base after watching that video im out buy as many old van I can get got so many cummins that one of your twin turbo a 6 speed allison and on them 22 in bad van LOL
Sounds like you have a Wheel Problem. Not so much an axle length problem. I'm thinking the 'free bucket' after you spend your life savings. Id for that bathroom stop you will need up ahead. Beach shirt truck repair. Those guys are everywhere. LOL Great video
Really sorry about the breakdown guys but it happens and more often than not you don't ever have the tools you need or in you case any at all but glad you got it fixed Cory. Glad the weather was good for the repair be careful and stay safe my friends God love❤ya both
I agree, you would be surprised how far the ends can be off from years of abuse and the welding of tbe spting hangers and other brackets. Go to McMaster Carr and pick up a 6' ground rod 1.25 to 1.5" dia, take the rod and the old bearings to a good maching shop and have some doughnuts made to fit. You can buy a kit but they are pricy. You do need to pull out the carrier, but that is the best way to do it. I got around $100 in my kit, then down the road if i shorten another brand or size of axle, have some more doughnuts made and you are all set.
Great video with a ton of variety & you made that wheel bearing swap look easy. Someday I hope to make to the Indiana hill climb from Wisconsin & thank you for sharing your adventures.
Love Your Video's. What's a P Pump?...Can't imagine why a wheel bearing went out? Big spacers with Big Ass ole deep off set wheels and tires? Sometimes it the Price We Pay to have Cool things! LOL Another Fun Video!
For future narrowing projects, what I did was scribed a line from the bearing hub to the center housing on both sides before cutting . That allowed the ends to match up. Second as dumb as it sounds I pounded in a piece of exhaust pipe to hold the ends straight . Beveled as you did and welded it up.
Ajp (you know the one , Mack Rat) the center fold on rat rod magazine and his vlog show you guys at that one show where you lowered that Dodge or ? Thanks Thanks BigAl California
I'm not saying I know more than you. I worked at a alignment shop for 8 years and found out that on the Dodges when you run over sized tires they have a tendency to trash the wheel bearings that is the week link
I think I know the answer to this question but was there a reason you didn't want to cut the rosette welds out from the center section and just remove the axle tubes from the housing and cut the ends off each?
You make dually under that van your never going to see the inner wheels unless your behind it. And if it’s slammed you won’t see it anyway!! Plus the fender well will be very big
Love the video! I’m building a 57’ Chevy dually truck with a utility bed. I have to narrow the rear axle also. So this video helps! Is that interior from that second gen cab for sale? Moser engineering in Portland,Indiana can respline your axles!

I am getting ready to do a Cummins swap on my 1970 f350. Love the content. Hopefully it will be on our UA-cam channel this next spring. God bless you guys.
You need to build some tool boxes for all your drivers . glad that's all it was.
Those high offset rims on your Dodge pickup are hard on wheel bearings, learned that back in the ‘80’s when that trend hit the first time…
Great Video..
Beauty, love he channel 👍
Great to see the video.
You impress me, Cory.
Run the duals and don't shorten anything 😊
Sounds like you have a Wheel Problem. Not so much an axle length problem.
I'm thinking the 'free bucket' after you spend your life savings. Id for that bathroom stop you will need up ahead.
Beach shirt truck repair. Those guys are everywhere. LOL Great video
Abom79 did a good video on shorting a rear end its sns 266 . mite be worth a look . Loving the van build .
Really sorry about the breakdown guys but it happens and more often than not you don't ever have the tools you need or in you case any at all but glad you got it fixed Cory. Glad the weather was good for the repair be careful and stay safe my friends God love❤ya both
That little forklift kicks ass
Great job enjoyed the video like always
Keep them coming ..
Really want to see the jeep/willys project get done and wheel!
Great video
Love the step van. i am in the middle of 1966 kurb van LS6.0 turbo on air ride
Sweet Van Cory!
Watching from northwest fl.enjoy your u-tube channel so far. Cool old step van.
axle tube shortening use a long bar with bearing spacers on the end to keep the tubes centered from side to side...
I agree, you would be surprised how far the ends can be off from years of abuse and the welding of tbe spting hangers and other brackets. That would look awesome with a super single’s on the back.
Agreed. Big ole fatty in the back.
Dutchman axles cuts and responses axleshafts thats pretty affordable. They may even have cut to fit shafts as another choice...
Great video with a ton of variety & you made that wheel bearing swap look easy. Someday I hope to make to the Indiana hill climb from Wisconsin & thank you for sharing your adventures.
Nice job guys!!!
Love Your Video's. What's a P Pump?...Can't imagine why a wheel bearing went out? Big spacers with Big Ass ole deep off set wheels and tires? Sometimes it the Price We Pay to have Cool things! LOL Another Fun Video!
Wow, a lot going in this video! This easy could of been two videos! Just a saying... Exciting stuff!
Nice job.....
Been there....Dunn that! Forget about it. ❤
it is amazing what large front tires do to the front ends my truck has 250,000 only replaced front bearings 1 time but have stock tires and wheels
I'm just wondering why the driveshaft is still on the rearend.
Another great video

I did think about that after I did it lol
Thank you for sharing
Tim miller here,
I woulda changed that hub with a adjustment wrench! How bout dat
Lol let’s see it homie 😬😎😂
GREAT youtube video. I understood all
Once again great video & great job Cory
Bar and bowling for the win.
Cool video.the van is lookn good.
Why didn't you just use a regular one ton rear-end? Love you guys.
Like watching your show been think about doing a diesel build
2004 F150 front bumper fits front contour really well .
Perhaps, remote mount the radiator fill?
Need to use the power steering method to push those bearings out of axle.
Just sent bagged patina an email about that killer shop banner, Thanks Cory
That’s awesome!!!!!
I love pumpkin butt. Lon from Ohio...
you could've unwelded the plug welds , pulled the tubes out, then re installed them after shorting them😊
We were at the hill climb must have missed ya.
Order a set of axels cut to length from strange. Now that also depends on what ya budgets looking like.
Did you guys return the jack and tools when you got the job done and get your money back ? ? 😀
No that’s trashy way to do things
Can you cut the rim in half and keep it around for future use?
Ajp (you know the one , Mack Rat) the center fold on rat rod magazine and his vlog show you guys at that one show where you lowered that Dodge or ? Thanks Thanks BigAl California
Do you need the duals? Just run the outer wheels to give you room for your links and bags. Just minus inner wheel.
I thought about that. I think it would be cool if It was a true Dually though
Why not run a super wide on the back?
I'm not saying I know more than you. I worked at a alignment shop for 8 years and found out that on the Dodges when you run over sized tires they have a tendency to trash the wheel bearings that is the week link
So much content. It seemed like 2 episodes.
Whars the inner measurement of the duals vs the frame width?
Hey I would like to hear from you if you decide to sell the interior out of the Dodge
I think I know the answer to this question but was there a reason you didn't want to cut the rosette welds out from the center section and just remove the axle tubes from the housing and cut the ends off each?
Awesome
It will look bad ass from the back...kinda like a pro street car
You make dually under that van your never going to see the inner wheels unless your behind it. And if it’s slammed you won’t see it anyway!! Plus the fender well will be very big
Why didn't you pull the tubes from the center section, cut the tube's, put them back in the center section, then plug and weld?
Love the video! I’m building a 57’ Chevy dually truck with a utility bed. I have to narrow the rear axle also. So this video helps!
Is that interior from that second gen cab for sale?
Moser engineering in Portland,Indiana can respline your axles!
