A lady I worked for told me she always made sure something was broken when her husband went out of town to work. He would grumble and then fix it. I thought that was a strange thing to do. Until I got older. Once I understood I could see the logic and her husband knew he was needed.

@margaret cole If only men under-45 these days would have this drive to be needed. Most of them seem to be irresponsible and emotional, and just want to be coddled and not have to take care of or do anything themselves, and find "independence" a must-have quality in their women probably because they expect their partner to take care of everything. And it's the women who suffer from men being "feminized." Men like these are why my sister's always had relationship problems, which she recently called to complain about. No surprise why so many people are still single/never been married into their 30s and 40s.
@@phatcat3705 many people are this way now days. They have been spoiled by parents trying to give their kids stuff they never had. When the reality of it is they didn't get what they needed from their parents.

i definitely needed this video, what the heck! actually going crazy, i could write a book on every sentence, the delivery hits like a tonne of bricks. this is just everything that's missing in my life, this is the vital piece of information! i was wondering about women, fearing them because of this very difference. you are so needed Rabbi Friedman, so very necessary. This needs to be taught in schools, important heavy information for every guy. I confirm 100% this is true, from my own experiences, from everything i've done, you are correct about the 0-100, it's one of my greatest desires. i just feel so alone and that's my zero, i feel like a zero all the time! so girls feel like a 1 at least? incredible

I learned something, that all my wife needs is a thank you...
At first I was offended. I thought he was saying that men are allowed to tell women were garbage because it wont bother us. Im so glad i continued to listen. Im only a fourth of the way though. When my now ex husband left me for someone else after 27 years was devastating. However not once did i ever think that I was nothing and deserved it! I saw the woman he left me for and felt sorry for him!
And what about the woman's fear he described? The possibility to be "reduced" into a man? Does it fear exists?

This was absolutely wonderful. I truly understand why I feel different being a husband.
I would add though that women, having come from a man, have just as terrifying fears of being abandoned by the most important man in their life (ie the one they have given their heart/love to such as father and then husband) because that feels the same as “becoming nothing.” That is why a woman will remove her love and become cold or angry at a man (making him nothing in her heart) before she has the ability to end a bad relationship with that man. As long as she can still feel love towards him, even a small amount, she will hold out hope and stay. And if a woman has already been hurt in this way by an abusive or neglectful or absent father this fear becomes much more amplified regardless of how great her husband is.

My suggestion,
Arnold Murray's teachings on genesis ch one through six.
Especially ch1 vs 26.
That would be a nice foundation, add the word picture Hebrew too it.
The ABC'S are essential for any decent study and understanding of it.

" A woman is more centered than a man… She is more serene, more silent, more patient, is capable of waiting. Perhaps because of these qualities she has more resistance to diseases and she lives longer than a man. Because of her serenity shecan fulfill a man’s life immensely. She can surround man’s life in a very soothing, cozy atmosphere.
“But the man is afraid - he does not want to be surrounded by the woman, he does not want to let her create a cozy warmth around him. He is afraid because that way he will become dependent. So for centuries he has been keeping her at a distance. And he is afraid because he knows deep down that the woman is more than he is. She can give birth to life. Nature has chosen her to reproduce, not man.
“Man’s function in reproduction is almost nil. This inferiority has created the greatest problem - man started cutting the woman’s wings. He started in every way reducing her, condemning her, so that he could at least believe that he is superior. He has treated women as cattle - even worse. In China, for thousands of years, the woman was not thought to have a soul, so the husband could kill her and the law would not interfere - she was his possession. Dude, stop lying. Men are simply afraid of being regarded as nothing, but I've never seen a man feel inferior to a woman. And when men feel threatened, they try all means to remove the threat first, and if they fail, they start killing what makes them threatened.
And to say "“Man’s function in reproduction is almost nil." is an outright lie. Can a woman conceive without a woman?
A woman can't create anything, let alone a child. But they can nurture a fetus until it's born and it becomes either a mature male or female adult.
So, where does inferiority come in?
And men reducing women to nothing; that's because the world is evil. If you read the Bible, you'll see GOD commanding the man to love his wife as he loves himself. A husband that lives by that principle won't "reduce" his wife.

Women can't seem to just be themselves they are only a good person if they have a man around. However I believe when men are around that's when they become the worst person. It's like they feed off of the destructive and and chaotic energy of men.

I am an old widow, 5 grown and gone children .
However ; as a youngster , I was as aggressive as my brothers and sought to win all the athletics and studious endeavors .
Lucky my mother took me away from ice hockey and my brothers . And put me in Figure Skating , Classical Ballet , and
surfing the ocean .
Only my marriage , really changed my aggression .
Why was I born so male like .
Lucky , not born in these years of political decisions of gender !
I have never been attacked to females .
I had a great friendship and cooperative loving marriage .
He was murdered by 3 illegal aliens , on way home from the children’s
swim team event .
Now living in sorrow and isolation .
What’s wrong with me ?

I am a woman, I agree, I have never felt that I am nothing. It has never been a fear for me. I also never feel like my "existance is in danger", no matter what the danger. Have experienced abuse as a child and I always found I needed to know why to be able to bear it. Dad was tired, I said this thing wrong, dad was under pressure, finding a reason even irrational made things bearable. Protecting myself never came to mind.
It makes me very sad to know that men fear being worthless/nothing. So sad. Are there men here who can confirm this? Horrible thought. I agree it is totally unfamiliar to me.
Yes it’s true, but not all men can articulate it because it is such a deep seated knowledge.
That’s why the modern feminist movement has been so privately/secretly devastating for men who are in touch with this deep concern.
It’s a denial of all that is and could be in our world.
Men can become ignorant as a way to cope with this constant sense that whatever they give/offer will never be good enough, they are often frightened that they won’t be able to give enough, so sometimes they don’t… and that whatever they give will be ripped away, and then they will be denied giving love to their own wives and children, which is what gives us the most pleasure in the world as long as we are acknowledged as the creator of that pleasure/contentment/happiness etc. If I’m having a really bad day, nothing makes me feel better or gives me energy like solving a problem for someone and then (importantly) having them acknowledge it with their genuine happiness and genuine gratitude. We don’t feel ecstatic when that happens, we feel deeply peaceful and for men, that is ecstatic.
Had a bad childhood and grew up always trying to justify my existence. My parents didn't plan to have kids, either, so I never felt welcome. It was like nothing I did was ever good enough. I felt bad just for existing. But even the one time I got a compliment, at work, which I thought I wanted, it only made me very uncomfortable. Never really occurred to me why. Just assumed this mindset had to do with my upbringing. Been hurt too many times, so have a tendency to build walls around myself to avoid risking the threat again. It's probably just a "me" thing, though. Everyone copes differently.
