Really enjoyed this video and learning about your new career! It sounds so exciting!
Hi, Ellie! Happy New Year!😊😊😊😊😊😎😙☀💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🌷🇬🇧💜💜💜💜💜🎇🎉👍. Congratulations on your new first job in Space of 2023!🎇🎉⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
hey, love your vlogs, cograts for your archievements!
I also studied maths, and completed my masters with a first and with a distinction(in Germany).
Love your content and would love to see some work related content and life updates from time to time😍
Congrats Ellie, another great video. Being the successful student that you are, I think it will specially useful to see your study methods and personally I would like to know how you used your Ipad. And I also think, the suggestion you said the last video about doing math research, It will quite useful to know your point of view, before I start my dissertation in two years.
Wow that sounds like a cool job Ellie. So happy for you. I used to think that a maths degree would open very few doors, outside the academic world, but I see that is not the case. Love your videos and appreciate all the effort you put into them to teach people how to code, etc... Best of luck!
Thank you so much, Jorge!☺️
There are lots of opportunities in the financial world too for mathematics graduates. People who are good in maths can also make good money from tutoring. I did not know how easy it was for maths graduates to find jobs until I started working.
Thank you for sharing:) It would be really helpful if you could make a video on how to find a maths research related job after a maths master program.
Being the successful student you are I thing It would an amazing idea to post a video on the study methods you used at your master and degree. I believe it's also a great idea the one you said I believe in the last video, about doing math research. This are my suggestion and congratulations for such an interesting video.
Videos that makes you happy will make us happy 🙌🏻🙏.
☺️☺️☺️
Great video - it'd be interesting at some point to see you do a video of what mathematical concepts (coding aside) from university you use in your job (such that you wouldn't specifically need to describe the actual maths/analysis/development you're doing within your job, but would give an idea of the bits of maths from university that tend to get used within your field..).. I'm in investment/actuarial/finance so that involves lots of probability/stochastic theory, data science/mathematical statistics and some game theory, for example :-)
Oooo yes, I love that idea! I was wanting to make a detailed video (as much as I can) on my current job and that's something I wanted to talk about! Thank you! ☺️
@@EllieSleightholm .. it's definitely intriguing, esp with being in a mathematical but unrelated field - I'm guessing there'd be some PDE's involved, and some numerical approximation/optimisation stuff with a need to be precise but I could be way off the mark haha! :-)
Hi Ellie, congrats on your projects. Could you make a video on how to get better at math and coding for not mathematicians? (and the space thing sounds super cool)
Love the video. I wish I was good in maths.
Thanks Ellie. If you are looking for coding/maths ideas for videos ... there is a lovely book by Daniel Shiffman called the nature of code then takes people through modelling physical systems in a language called processing. Doing something similar for Space applications might be fun.
Ooo thank you, Colin. Will have to check that out!
Hi Ellie im studying math at metu i have a few questions about how i should navigate my math career so i want to study analysis but im not sure what courses ive to take to become like really good in this field could you give some ideas to me
Please make a video about how you wrote your essay!
Of course! As I mentioned in this video, it's the next video on my list ☺️
Figured british math majors worked at Scrooge & Marley or Bletchley park. Guess a Cambridge masters really counts because lions never got into a top tier company.
all glory to hypnotoad
Do they anything for Post A Level students?
The UK Space Agency are pushing for apprenticeships for post a-level students! This link might be helpful: www.gov.uk/guidance/space-skills-and-careers-resources :))
@@EllieSleightholm Is there anything in your space company where you work for A Level Students?
Love from india , 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳, how i study mathematics in Cambridge ????
Thank you! If you go to their website there are opportunities for overseas students! ☺️
@@EllieSleightholm thanks for your help ,✨✨✨✨✨
Im looking for a study partner who can tolerate studying for a long time, about nine to ten hours every day
Whenever u just use this setting I will just humbly watch the video.
Look like a nerd Wondering y u no longer wear glasses
