Some very vocal groups told him he was going to hell, so he did. He has a right to his reaction imo, but I know this is shocking to many; we are in more conservative times but sometimes you have to react. I thought it was kind of humorous, and not mean spirited at all.
As a Christian, we’re taught to respond with love and truth, not violence. Which, I feel, makes us and our beliefs easy targets. Doesn’t mean we don’t or can’t speak up-I think we should more actually. Jesus said ”If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. Religious people have been shouting at LGBTQ people forever and telling them they’re going to hell and can’t marry and now a video from a music artist gets them all upset. He has every right to critique Christianity.
