Yo, just want you to know, that I really love your videos, your look and how you explain those things. As an angling director and dop - theee best channel for me on UA-cam! Do something great for you today, you deserve this ❤
3:00 Doesn't need to be top lit if you got lots of lamps! In my own apartment I don't have ceiling lights and instead softly illuminate every room with mid-height lamps bouncing from wall corners.
I enjoy your videos man. Keep up the great work. You inspire me to get moving with this. Working to get my first camera and lighting ser up. Thank you for your contents.
My brother, as someone who is uploading videos on this platform about cinematography too, I wonder, how on earth do you manage to upload 8 videos in 1 month, all of them around 20mins each. I struggle to even get one per month. I'm seriously very curious my man, how??
@TenfoldProduction nice timing brother, I was just watching the v lock batteries video, still thinking, another one, how!!?? This solves all my questions haha That's inspiring my man, thank u for answering and keep up the good work 🤜🤛
@@danielduanetv 4400k or 5600 depending on the feeling we’re going for. 4400 if we’re trying to balance and create more colour contrast if there’s daylight visible. If it’s purely warmth, sometimes we’ll just stick to 5600
The only thing that I don’t like about your videos is you don’t show us the actually lighting set up. Your chalk board drawings are sometimes confusing. You show about 2 seconds of your actual lights and camera set up.
Appreciate the feedback! We didn't have full BTS for every shot unfortunately back when we started. All of our future videos do those. Thanks for watching
Good stuff! Definitely getting some Patrick from Wandering DP vibes!
Wow, your setup is really well lighted

Haha we run UA-cam like we do productions. We have a team that we work with to make it happen.

What's a good way to measure to see if you have enough light on an object? false color? or enough light for your scene
a light meter to measure the light falling on the subject, false colour to measure the light being read by the camera
It will be nice to mention the camera White Balance
He does.
Brother how many people do you have with you to help carry the equipment? I know all of that can be challenging to keep up with.
Nice video....,
I know you like to use 2700k for warmer light. What's the ideal camera WB for that look?
Ah, 4000k. I kept watching..lol

did you not have noise in the 3rd example?
what was your camera temp on these?
so your at 2700K for the lights and camera correct?

Amazing knowledge but very bad presentation. Too much doodles and talking and not enough footage 😥
