I love this channel so much! Mary literally pulled me out of the new age, converted me and brought me to the Catholic faith, was primarily the only one there for me through my divorce and loss of both my parents. And when I started this channel in honor of her, you're exactly right, the favor and blessings and my love for her grew even bigger!
I met her when I was still Methodist. A friend at church showed me the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa. As I learned more about Catholicism she kept guiding me through that icon. Aside from God Our Lady is my greatest treasure. If you consecrate yourself to her your life will change. Get ready.
I was a Catholic-in-name only. I found myself pregnant with no help. I didn't want children and I didn't want to be a single mom. I contemplated abortion many times. Then at 7.5 months gestation I found out my son has a brain malformation. So now I had many people telling me to just have an abortion. Well, the Virgin Mary not only showed me not to have an abortion but she brought me back to Jesus and her Son Jesus Christ. My son does have special needs but he's the best thing that has happened to me. I did a complete 180 with him. And we are taken care of. I will always be thankful and grateful to her.
What you said about asking for something simple reminded me of something. Two years ago, I decided to activate my Catholic faith. I didn't know much at all but I had my aunt's old rosary. At the time my parents were alive but were putting us through all sorts of hell with their many issues. I was on my way to their house one day with my stomach in knots. I decided to pull over to pray a Rosary just before getting there because I read that some famous priest (Padre Pio...lol) called the rosary his weapon. I pulled out my cheat sheet and prayed it through. When I was done, I heaved a big sigh and said, " Is anybody listening?". I put my car in gear and waited for the car coming up the road to pass me. I then pulled in behind the car that passed and the name on the personalized plate made my heart skip a beat: "MARY"! Needless to say, my devotion grows every day and she has done many more and even bigger things for me. I can hardly get through a Rosary without crying for my love for her. I love to share this story with whomever will listen. Thank you for this channel Alvaro and may God bless you a million times!
Thank you so much. I love Our Blessed Mother, I give out Green Scapulars and Rosaries to people. I wear the Brown Scapular and pray 5 prayers every hour for her devotion. God Bless you all
After watching this I did ask Our Lady to show me her love for me. Yesterday, I noticed me husband wearing the miraculous medal that my daughter gave him months ago. He put it on of his own choosing. I’ve been praying that he will convert to Catholicism. So I felt so much hope and love from Our Lady because of this.
Wow, beautifully explained. Thank you. Recently, I started reading , The Glories Of Mary, by St. Alphonse De Liguria, and it is beyond explaining, how She Loves Us, and how I love her. Mary, our mother, show us the way. 🙏🙏🙏
Ah Thank you do much Alvaro, you are so blessed, keep doing what you are doing Fr Eamon Brooklyn NY, Recently on my way to bed late before ascending the stairs. I knelt before her statue here in the half light.. looked directly in her face and spoke from my heart... then I saw her face transform to other faces.’. Then I saw suffering faces and burned out faces, frightening... I understood the need to pray for souls falling into Hell
My mom was very abusive to me growing up, so although I understood why we love and honor Our Blessed Mother from a theological standpoint, it was very difficult for me to know the love a mother has for her children. I highly recommend the consecration to Jesus through Mary -- not only did I learn so much more about her, but it really felt like she filled the hole in my heart that was longing for motherly love.
Because of this video, my recollection of an amazing, yet very personal, grace Our Lady bestowed on me! Thank you for resurrecting that moment that I should get back to visiting Mary’s shrines again!!
Today is Mary's birthday. And it's my birthday too! A lot of good suggestions here. I'm on my way to church but when I get back I will list some Mary and miracles that have happened in our lives and our families lives
Thank You Alvero. Yes I have been to Knock and Medjugorje...So Special, especially Medjugorje. Keeping You and Your Family in My Prayers, Precious Man....You are a Wonderful Role Model, and very sincere too. 🙏❤️🙏🌟✨✨✨
I found your channel when I was looking for comments or reviews about the movie “purgatory” and it’s a delight to listen to all the videos. Thank you !! From this video I’ll take the idea to celebrate Her feast days !! How I didn’t thought of that before !! 😊 Thank you Alvaro. Blessings.
Sometimes when we ask - God barely sustains us by a thread - people don’t know that often the Holy Family was so poor - yet continued trusting - don’t give up! Ask The Blessed Mother and St Joseph together - to provide for all your needs - and know that even if it’s a small piece of bread - that came from them - whatever they don’t give you here on earth - they will give you a hundredfold in Heaven!
This video was very helpful, you are very inspiring for my faith. I remember when I had a peak in my faith back in 2021-2022. I used to pray my Rosary everyday! Then one day, I decided to pray it every other day or whenever I wanted. Then in 2023, I found out about Mother Angelica's Rosary that plays on EWTN. I used to pray it every week day, until very recently. I rarely pray it now. But there is something I noticed, and I want your opinion. Ever since I fell from this, I notice problems, sinful nature, carelessness and a dry faith. Do you think this is due to me not praying my Rosary as often as I once did?
"Do not underestimate how much you love her.... This is just me, it always seems I don't have the most needed , the adequate love yet for mama Mary. May She help me realize that such little love counts for her.
Hello, may I ask if the rosary is an essential prayer to go to heaven? Some people say it is, others says it’s not. I’m very concerned because I haven’t prayed the rosary in months. Thank you and God bless you.
The rosary is something very helpful - you can get to Heaven without it - but it helps very much - above all things you need to pray whatever you think the Holy Spirit is leading you to
@@UniquelyMary ok, thank you, though I have a question, why don't you ever smile in most of your videos? Just wanna know because I find it weird. Thanks for your reply.
I'm wondering if it's worth putting this effort into the worship of the Son of God, ie. Jesus, rather than Jesus' sinful mother, who is essentially just a human, she is a sinful person who was chosen by God for a purpose, like Noah, the disciples etc... This whole video about how to 'fall in love with Mary' quoted NONE of the bible so it seems like a cult. The bible doesn't put any emphasis on worshipping Mary that I can see or 'loving' her or praying to her for anything, I wouldn't pray to Noah so why would I pray to Mary instead of Jesus or the Holy Spirit? Jesus never prayed to Mary nor mentioned anything about her really so I'm wondering what all the fuss is about Mary?
@@UniquelyMary True, and I guess the bible is fairly clear on the fact that Mary had other children and Jesus being one of a number that Mary and Joseph had. ie. Matthew 1:24-25 and Luke 7:12;8:42;9:38
@viviane truyen Um, she had other children, and he had brothers. “Then one said to Him, ‘Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You’” (Matthew 12:47). Joseph is described as “knowing” Mary (the standard biblical euphemism for sexual intercourse) after Jesus’ birth. Second, Jesus was the firstborn son, definitely indicating other sons, and at least hinting at a female child as well. The Greek for firstborn is prototokos. Had Jesus been an only child, and had this been important, the word monogenes would have been used (Luke 7:12;8:42;9:38). And also. “Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus” (Matthew 1:24-25).
Prototokos is used for Jesus to mean “first born of all creation” since we all come to be sons of the Father through him and therefore the other children. Jesus did have other brothers and sisters - you and I - God is the Father - Mary is the mother - hence Jesus entrusts her to his disciple John (and the language of adoption was used in the ancient language and if he had had other brothers they would have received him) - “and he took her into his home”. Here begins the rich tradition of “taking Mary into our homes as our spiritual mother” - and later Jesus speaks to Mary Magdalene “go to my brothers and tell them, I am going to my Father and yours” - meaning that after the resurrection - Jesus had completed the process of re-establishing us as God’s children - there WE are the brothers and sisters of Jesus - Mary and Joseph did not have other children since “being overshadowed” by the Holy Spirit - a biblical expression used rarely - meant that she was fully consecrated to God - it was easier for them to remain celibate for their whole lives that for Mary to conceive through God - therefore since the more difficult one happened - it’s easy to believe that they remained chaste. If the writers of the scripture did insinuate that they had other children - it’s because in Aramaic and middle eastern languages at the time they did not have the variety of words that we do in English and so “brother” means “brethren” which is a broad familial term.
