Wht a beautiful dog! I have never, ever seen this color mix! I have a pure WGSD and have never seen this mixture in either breed. You are blessed, my friend!
Somehow I reached here. Interesting, I have a white GSD named Aspen. He is about 2 years old (est) and had white hairs with some beige or gold. We adopted him 8 months ago without knowing his breed and a genetic test found he is a 100% GSD.
When my big girl was a puppy she had some tan. Her ears and some down her back almost to her tail. As she got older the tan disappeared. Now she's all white.
I have a white GS puppy that is only 10 weeks old but she has a lot of those brown patches running through her fur as well. Wondering if she may look more like this one when she matures.
I had a white gs dog and he started to turn a bit yellow/brown due to carrots or carotene in his food. Once we took that stuff out of his food he stopped changing color. :)
I have a question why is your dog bigger than a Swiss shepherd I can? Have your dog a special name ? For example?? king shepherd ?? Thank you if you answer my questions
@@ronlogan4743 Biologically speaking, they show several mutations, well outside what defines a GSD standard. So they can't be shown as GSDs. However, they should not be bred to be ADVERTISED as GSDs, or to sell their "GSD puppies" which clearly will fall outside the breed's standard. If they have some good qualities, though, maybe they could be bred to promote some new breed?
Thats a golden German sheperd, never seen it untill now.. beautiful dog...
Got my lil Honey last night. She has the same honey color saddle and is just sweet as her name.

We live in Switzerland and have a Berger Blanc Suisse. Such a beautiful animal! Try spotting a white dog in a field snow sometime!

Its not white.
The white Shepherd is no German Shepherd. He is a swiss Shepherd. The white ones are not accepted from the SV in Augsburg Germany.
Err, not to be called GSD. The dog has serious genetic flaws to represent the breed. But a cute dog otherwise.
It is a GSD. They're just not recognized by the AKC. Don't think they can be shown either. Could be wrong.
