    She is amazing!!! i watched all of her videos from this competition... her bars are beautiful!!! and i love her beaam and floor routines!!!!!!!!

    In hindsight, a bit overscored given some of the leaps and the missed handstand on the back 1/4, but her dismount always perplexed me. She doesn’t actually gainer, she just sorta takes off on one foot but her other leg doesn’t swing into the double twist at all. It’s kinda wild she could even pull it off.

      I've always thought the same thing. If you look at the way Khorkina does it the free leg swings through to create momentum, Ray just does a 2/1 full from one leg.

      ​@@twebster9498Ray twisted left and also cartwheel'd left. There will only be swing through if you cartwheel and twist in opposite.

    Her form is good, but the level of her skills simply just didn't make her world class....

      She did make beam finals in Sydney with this routine. But you're right, there's just barely enough in this routine that if she missed just a single skill or connection her SV would be down. Most of the other top gymnasts would do more than what the code requires.

      @@singsongericliterally she missed her front tuck to wolf jump in finals amd got a 9.3 something with a good routine otehriwsen

      There was a lot of lackluster beam in that quad and not just from the Americans. Nothing super memorable about Produnova's bronze winning routine other than the dismount.
