I enjoy your videos and that you fish around here where I live. I live in Rockwood, raised in Harriman. My husband and I go out at Tom Fuller in Rockwood and can never catch anything but seeing your video from when you were at Tom Fuller shows me there are fish out there to catch. Thanks for all of your videos I’m learning so much!!! My friend recommended me to watch your videos and I’m glad they did!!
I remember when Catfish Dave didn't have a boat and coudn't float. Now he has a boat, can float and is the goat. Catfish Dave now has sunglasses and a ball cap, the best you tube channel and that's a wrap.
Bank r boat Dave u r the king of catfishing u put in your dews and then some your great shows Ed people and is a great shows keep up the good work fish on dave
Life is good with a Catfish Dave video. The only thing to make it better...would be to see Dave running up the bank to set the hook. A little boy can dream😢
I have a place on a lake in GA, never cat fished much until I started watching you and Justin. I catch 95% of the fun ones I catch on live bluegill. Another fun video!!!!
Awesome job putting the hammer down on some nice ones for sure!! Also the shallow water this time of year before the shallow water gets close to boiling point & the fish take off for deeper cooler water is killer!! I absolutely love fishing the shallow water this time of year!!
Awesome job Dave! You turned that day completely around with some NICE fish! I think you were getting the catfish fever at the end. The way you kept turning to see if that float was going down 😂 I would be the same way. Great video!!!
It was great to see how you dealt with the weather conditions. Playing hide n seek with the wind is tricky for sure. That bluegill was just too tempting. Bam!!
I'd love to see you get a boat 4 foot longer and 18 to 24 inches wider. World of difference. You'd be much safer on the big waters you fish and much more room for you and your equipment. If I had it I'd buy it for you. Love your videos, they help my fishing fix, I'm to bunged up to go so I watch you. Good luck. C.D.
Fishing a bait with a float for big tarpon from a Texas pier back in the early sixties was the most exciting fishing I ever did. I still love catfishing and Dave just showed me a new way to do that.
Are you loosing some weight? Or them Fish just getting bigger? A salt water live bait trick is to hook them further in the back, if you give the line a tug, they run away from the direction they're being pulled. Thank you for your ever loving devotion to the cause. Peace from Southern California
Finally toward the end we got a dag-blasted bluegill! Figured we’d have heard about the dog-blasted blower in the background but I guess we can’t have everything. Keep em coming Dave!
Dave, you should put out a bloopers video in the summer when fishing gets slow. For the algorithm you know. 👍 I'm sure there is some footage you could put together.
A Catfish Dave video two days in a row! I couldn't believe it! AND... there is no twist in his overall strap!? I've never seen that before! The YT Algarythm must be back on track. Great Vid!
Catfish Dave Just got the daiwa x40sha in and lined up did my fist few cast at 75 yards on my two lane street. I’m learning the reel. Just wonder with the red breaks we discussed how far of a cast are you achieving on a far cast with these bad boys
You thread on a tiny piece of rubber or plastic which sticks to the line, but still can slide up and down, and it can easily go thru the eyes of the rod. You can set it up at any depth you want. Slip bobbers usually come with several of the slips because they do wear out, but you can make them from soda bottles, scissors, and a hot needle too.
Dave, do you ever use jumbo shrimp for bait? I don't usually have enough time to catch my bait. I lake fish, I've found a bag of jumbo shrimp from Kroger 5$ usually lasts me for two weeks. Cleaner, stays on hook, and I've gotten up to 30 or so hits in one 4 he trip
Hey Dave got a question for you. I noticed in the Hot Tennessee River Catfish Bite video your line on your Diawa’s was orange and then I noticed in the next video or so it was blue. Is the orange Berkeley ? And if so what’s your thoughts on it,secondly is the blue Ande ? So I guess my true question was how often do you change your line? Mono of course not braid. Thanks once again for the great videos and knowledge you pass along, come to Hendersonville and fish Old Hickory sometime wooooo
Something extra fun bout live gills on big float. Thumbs up people let’s catch Dave some big ass algorithms. Whoever thumbs down this video is jealous, may your bite go cold
After you mentioned it and personal observations, you do need a bigger boat. Get yourself a deck crew. They can fix your samitches and land your fish. Let them bleed.
Dave I have 2 questions for you about today's video. 1.) Are you using a spin cast reel today because your float fishing the weight straight down and how's that better than your normal open reel in this case. 2.) This looks like hole # 5 that you called "Bad Luck cove". Does this float method straight down reduce the chances of getting snagged up that plagued you here on your last trip where you had to re-tie 10 times? I ask because at the end of the video you said you wanted the wind to push your bait back to the shallower waters. Thanks for the great video content Dave. Your really loading up on some keeper Algirythms this month. Much appreciated.
Love your show people don't understand how much time and dedication it takes to catch fish like u do
Wheeeeeew!!! Nice Blues Catfish
Dave, I knew you had some nice

once it sinks your boat." Catfish Dave (another video)
Nah Richard Gene the Fishing Machine is still better but catfish Dave is second
@@patrickbateman2869 I like 'em both, Nick. Each of them brings a different perspective to fishing. I even watch Luke Nichols now and then.
If Dave does not respond to this… he’s becoming too much of a big shot.😜
@@patrickbateman2869 kayak catfish the best! Catfish Dave and him need to do a video together!

7:53 Dave the catfish wrestler
Dang I wish he'd get a wider boat now.
Hope Dave keeps hydrogen peroxide on his boat. Catfish and Carp got a nasty infection a while back.
Having fun is a lot of work
Catfish Dave, I didn't realize how polluted the Tennesee River is! Now I know why you don't eat any of the fish you catch! What a shame!!
Great video Dave. That’s sucks your truck broke down but still able to put out great content is a plus. Tight lines 🤘

THE MAN,THE LEGEND,THE WHISKERS CLUB PRESIDENT!!😎
Could you please explain how to put together rigs for catching fish. I'm not familiar with catfishing techniques. Thanks,

Never gets old watching you reel in those hogs. Love your vids.
Like your dedication!! Sure fish hard week after week. Great videos
The winds gonna blow, but you never know until you throw!🎣🎣🎣
Hey Mr. Dave, This is the 70 year old former catfisher. Thanks for keeping it real! If you can, please let me know where to get a Kelly Spoon.
even though the wind did blow, to the big catfish Mr, Dave will go!
David trim the tail fin on them bait fish” they’ll stop swimming towards you, and still give you the action you want” love your channel 👊
Although I own several egg beaters I rarely use them catfishing. May need to pull my surf egg beater out of retirement and give it a "spin"...

Good toss with that live bluegill!
Wonder if Catfish Dave know how to fry catfish?
I never used “slip bobbers” but I have used bobbers that are fixed to the line. How can a slip bobber go down.
You thread on a tiny piece of rubber or plastic which sticks to the line, but still can slide up and down, and it can easily go thru the eyes of the rod. You can set it up at any depth you want. If you put a band-aid on your GoPro microphone on windy days, it makes a HUGE difference, i do this quite often

The blue is Momoi Diamond. The orange is Berkely. When the line starts fading it gets changed
I Miss them catfish Dave hook sets on the bank
Yep Dave, You need a bigger boat!!!
Damn it Dave, fix your hat! You’re kill’n me
Got some questions about finding catfish in cold water, I live way up north.
You’re not a quitter , I admire that, nice fish 👍🏼
Try lake Tawakoni. You won’t regret it
Problems that arise are blessings in disguise.

Keep an eye on that battery. Its usually the next to go. Lol. Thanks dave. Hope things get better. Lol
Anyone who's new, when the music starts, ya know it's a goodun'.
