When we night fish with submersible lights we usually attract lots of shad.... Most are small but occasionally we see some large ones.... When we are needing bait I throw the bait net out and usually in just a throw or two we have all we need.....

Having a weird year on my river,. In the past you would be lucky to catch one skip for every hundred white bass. So far this year ive saved about 40 skipjack, released maube 1000 and still havent got a single white bass. Fishing same area as years past
