tastet3000 Nah. I think it's more of a " novelty " than a delicacy. I live in the south. Tried it a handful of times. Not my first choice for sure. I'd much rather eat catfish.
Don't know what swamp water taste like but I'm sure it's better than desert water. And if it taste like chicken and catfish, sounds like it'll taste pretty good. But some folks don't season their meat so that could have been the problem you tasted.
