Landlord Illegally Keep Deposit & Charges Me For Burglary - Do I Sue? First Full Service Realty Scam

I want to make a video about this situation to make people aware of how shitty landlords and rental management companies can be and how easily they can just keep your full deposit. The Nevada Laws for tenants are horrible and they can legally do this, however in this situation it is very much illegal to blame me for a burglary that happened after I moved out, and my bigger concern is, did a burglary even happen or is this just fraud all together. I've never committed any sort of crime especially on this level and it has bothered me for days at this point that someone can just blame and assume guilt and charge me money for something that didn't happen, something has to change.

It’s one of the reasons I’m considering sueing because I do have the resources. But I think with yelp reviews they might get enough negative feedback to do something about it

This seems to be common in certain areas of the country. The day you leave you are suppose to do a walk through with the landlord and by the end of the walk through resolve any issues and get your deposit back. No mailing it to you later. No Doing separate walk throughs.

All you can do is go through small claims court. Small claims goes up to $10,000 in Nevada. The process is pretty ok.
Usually corporations don't show up and just take the L. The math works out for companies to do this to people, because a % will go through small claims and get what is owed to them while another % won't. The % that doesn't is pure profit.
So basically they just make up charges and bank on the % that doesn't challenge it. If the judge sees the same company too many times the judge can be extra generous to send a message.

Break somethong equivilent too price of deposit kept. Brother in law,his dustant niece rented lower part house to him.he cleaned,yardwork, ckeaned il hostairs tenants messes..mikdew bathroom ect. Neice said rent going up.alot. he didnt wanna pay. 30 days and thats it. She started leave ng paint cans contractors were using saying the tvwas his lies.kept his deposit. He moved last monent thier, he shoved window closed hard so frame glass broke. Its paid for now the deposit she kept. Then he left in uhaul.n left.
