Helene Fische never was and never will be a strong vocalist no matter how good the try to set her in the right scene. She is doing „Schlager“ in German Music. And thougj it is very successful, its not good and not sophisticated music.

If she had lived in America when she was younger and had a hit or two then with her looks and voice she would have been a worldwide Superstar.
It’s not too late to come here. If we could just get her Christmas program broadcasted here I think we could start getting enough fans to make it worth her while. Would be perfect year for her to sing a concert for peace.
Nobody in America can sing so many genres, so many languages. She is so versatile. In America she would be loved by young and old. Country, Pop, and even some gospel.
@@miller7522 The thing is Helene seems to be quite torn when it comes to being popular outside of the "German world". She said that of course it would be appealing to be successful in America but she actually never tried to actively achieve this. When she had her ultimate breakthrough in 2013, although she already was one of the if not the most successful German singer at that time, as you can imagine there were a lot of interviews asking her if she aims for international fame now. Even back then when she was 29, now she is 39, she said that she believes that she is already too old to have the chance of becoming a star in America. 10 years ago this might have been more true actually as for example Pink once said that once you reach 35 years as a female pop singer your career is pretty much over. This appears to have changed a bit now. Still to this day Helene hasn't started a proper try at conquering the American market. I'm pretty sure that she is actually happy not to be famous outside of the German world as she doesn't like to be famous to begin with. Now she can at least travel to wherever German isn't the language and be free. Taylor Swift or Beyonce can't do that. For context Helene is the prime target for German tabloids for over a decade now. Only this week the biggest German news outlet was sentenced to pay her 80.000€, a still ridiculously small amount of money for them, because they published photos of her and her newborn daughter even while breastfeeding her although I haven't seen such pictures, but doesn't matter. So having the opportunity to flee from constant observation in Germany is way more important to her than being famous worldwide.
