Oh no no no no. I won't let Octavia be called a "spoiled brat" when she was emotionally fucked up by Stolas. From the very beginning, Stolas, in her eyes, prioritized Blitzø by taking him on a trip to Loo Loo Land and flirting with him the whole time, where this trip was for to distract Octavia from all the mess in her house and where in S2E2 it was Loona who had to go talk to Octavia because Stolas was busy playing sitcoms with Blitzø. And all these feelings were only confirmed when Stolas, was ready to sacrifice his life for Blitzø, orphaning her, live on TV, without saying goodbye to Octavia, but instead singing about how important Blitzø is to him. And Stolas waited until the morning to at least call her.

Exactly. She's not the one who's wrong. Everyone else gets her father Grace, but when she gets upset no one gives her Grace.
She's literally feeling with a screwed up situation, placed upon her by her parents and no one seems to really care... The double standard is real and it's sickening

They are utterly incapable of understanding how forcing Octavia to go somewhere she didn't like and flirting with his side piece the whole time, forgetting a special event that was supposed to be for them so he could fight with Stella on the phone and then getting distracted by a side quest with Blitzo when he was supposed to be looking for her, and then going to die for some imp he barely knows despite knowing how much she fears him leaving her for Blitzo are all really shitty, selfish things to do.
In the minds of Stolas fans, Stolas' perspective is the only one that matters.

Clearly, his "evil" teenaged daughter, who he has abandoned for an imp he barely knows, is the REAL problem here. How dare she not be completely cool with her dad cheating on her mom and upending her home life, all while prioritizing his side-piece over her. Doesn't she know that only Stolas matters here?
I saw in a comment on another content creators review of Sinsmas that after the fight with Andrealphus and Octavia cutting Stolas off, he's still being selfish. Instead of saying "She hates ME," he should have said, "I hurt HER."

One of my biggest fears is that Stolas is basically going to raise Moxxie and Millies kid as a way to show "look he's such a good person and a good dad"
They'll probably do the trope where the baby won't stop crying but Stolas is the baby whisperer and makes them stop the second they get them, like the baby has really good judge of character.
I actually want Moxxie and Millie to be attentive good parents instead of Nanny Stolas raising the child for them. But Nanny Stolas paints Stolas in the best light so I'm sure that's what they're going to go with.

I'll be shocked if she's allowed to keep the baby honestly. We can't have any Millie focus without one of the boys being involved, and having her be the "lady with the baby" puts her way too much in the spotlight for Viv's standards
@Cardinal_claw exactly why I think once the baby is born, she will be a basically absent mom written as "girl power" while Moxxie, Blitz and Stolas will basically raise the baby and get all the sweet moments. No way they're not going to use the baby to get more Stolas angst out of him 😞
I cross my fingers that she entrusts the baby to her sister Sallie while she's at work with Moxxie.🤞
After all, she's the first person Millie called right after the positive pregnancy test.
I fear that season 3 will paint octavia in the wrong for hating her dad when she had every right to be mad at stolas

I think Octavia has every right to be upset with Stolas. Stolas has always made promises to her that he would break. Just because Stolas cares about Octavia doesn't make him a good parent and he should be called out on that.
Chances are though, Octavia may come to regret that decision......
@@DrawciaGleam02 Just because you regret doesn't automatically mean it was a bad decision. Many children of abusive/neglectful parents regret the decision to cut off their parents at some point. It doesn't mean they should've allowed the abusive/neglectful parent to continue hurting them or breaking promises or ignoring the child's needs in favor of their own
as a child of divorced parents who used to fight all the time, i KNOW via is right 100%. but watching the episode i couldn't help but feel like her anger towards stolas was competely unjustified. that was until i realized THAT IS BECAUSE WE DID NOT SEE ANYTHING FROM VIA'S PERSPECTIVE. hell, we dont see via at all. the only time we see her is when she's with stolas, and when that happens stolas is always being a super caring parent. character development CANNOT happen offscreen because this is the result: we are missing so much information that in the end were completely mischaracterizing as unreasonable and stupid a character as who is absolutely the victim here

100% is a little bit of an exaggeration.
Yes Stolas did all that stuff, but if she was hurt that bad, and wanted to see her father (yk, since she was literally looking for him) She could at least hear him out instead of immediately leaving.

I just hate how it the writers used Octavia targeting Stolas’s medicine to invalidate her feelings. Like should she have spoken about that in such a way? No.
But she’s a confused, lost girl feeling betrayed. And seemingly knows her existence was an obligation. Not a choice by her parents. She finally snapped. And frankly I can’t blame her given her age. Meanwhile Stolas, he’s made some choices I just can’t understand. Like Loo Loo land…
THIS RIGHT HERE! So many people tore Octavia to shreds over what she said about Stolas' antidepressants, but continue piling on excuses for Stolas' horrible behavior.
What's worse is that Octavia isn't wrong. She IS an obligation. The only reason she exists is because Stolas and Stella were forced to conceive an heir. It isn't clear if she was aware of that prior to this episode, but her dad ditching her so easily for an imp he barely knows (in addition to taking antidepressants) confirms in her mind that, despite his claims otherwise, he doesn't REALLY care about her. He just stuck around because he had to.
But of course, Stolas fans can't comprehend this, because Octavia's perspective isn't Stolas' perspective.
It truly disgusts me that the fanbase wasted no time in flaming Octavia, a betrayed teenager, for saying an insensitive thing about antidepressants, but continue making all the excuses in the world for Stolas, a grown man whose selfish decisions are the source of his daughter's pain.
That face says it all in the picture. The show is over, and Stolitz is official. Octavia is a Villian by default, Andrealphus is dead spiritually, Stella is missing, and I am fabulously rich from the bet I won. I hit every prediction for the show. I am richer than the Goetia family now, and I now get to buy the rights to the show.
Overall, people are leaving the show like Sarcastic Chorus, and who can blame him. The show jumped the shark (pun for LoveArt23).
Not really. Octavia's not the villain (give it some time and the dumb audience will get the point). Blitz and Stolas are far from being a couple considering the bird is now reconsidering his life decisions. There's season 3 coming up and trust me something tells me it's going to be wild
@@seeleunit2000 it's not just that but the assumption of it. I feel that Viv and the rest of the writers are going to pull a swerve, and make Octavia a plot twist villian somehow just so Stolas don't look bad in the public's eyes. The writing is probably on the wall for things to happen.

Via ran away under her father's watch, it's not Stella's fault she didn't know where Via was. In split households the parents won't know 100% where the kid is, just that it's the other parents job to keep them safe at the time in the others absence.
Not defending Stella cause she's written as an indefensivle villian, but it's weird to blame her for not know where Via is when Stella is staying with Andy and it's Stolas parenting time (during which he neglects her)
But they haven't split yet
@billcipher8645 Yes, they have, in seeing Stars Stella and Stolas fighting over the phone about Stella's things being moved to her, because Stella is at Andy's waiting for her stuff and Stolas is at his palace with the movers and Via. They are split up, and Stolas has physical custody at this time.
Stolas also didn’t notice she was missing in Seeing Stars. He was just told. We don’t see him noticing she was missing, same with Stella

Honestly, I thought he’d be a great, great father to Octavia, hell, HE reminded me of how great MY dad is!
But … the recent episodes just changed everything for me. Stolas, really does seem to like Blitz more than Octavia … that’s why I’m actually happy my dad’s NOTHING like Stolas. I feel so terrible for Octavia to the point of, where I just wanna grab her through the screen and hug her! She doesn’t deserve any of that shit … at this point, I just want her to be adopted by someone who actually cares for her! Hell, I WANNA ADOPT HER!

Gonna be real was looking forward to listening to your critiques of these two episodes because I feel like you're one of the few who will let loose and be totally real with your opinions, and I really adore that, and think fandoms like HH/HB need to hear more ACTUAL critiques because a lot of times they act very childish and defensive, but the person defending Stolas and is clearly a shipper kinda drops the vibes down really hard. Walking on eggshells kinda vibes, feels like she's keeping everyone from really venting their frustrations at how bad the show has gotten, if only to keep the peace.

HB was not advetised as a romance so that's why the audience feels justifiable betrayed. Only in episode 7 we actually start to get romance plot. Viv once twetted something in the lines of: "what's wrong if a show becomes a fanfic of itself?". We got the answear: braindead plot animated well.
I expected it to be bad, I did not expect “cheating is okay if it’s gay and and it’s bad when a woman does it”.
Also wow, how ironic that the most underdeveloped female character that Vivziepop insists has a lot of hidden depth is given a pregnancy plot. How much do you want to bet she’s going to be completely sidelined in the next season.
ALSO, sorry yall but I don’t think Stolas is actually going to apologize for being a bad father to Octavia. Did we forget what happened when Ozzie called out Stolas in “Ozzie’s” and Blitzo chewed out Stolas in “Full Moon”, the former didn’t even keep his energy and Blitzo was so thoroughly punished that it felt like he was being abused into falling for Stolas.
In fact that’s not even the first time she defensively said there’s nothing wrong with her writing feeling like fanfiction. She even called it homophobic when people used fanfiction as deragatory bc some queer people like it…. That’s like saying it’s homophobic to shit on Big Mouth because it has some queer fans.

Well we all have to admit. Viv beat the record for "how to avoid to tell what are the fellings of a mother about her own kid". Right now she holds the record of 2 seasons or 20 cursed episodes.
I observed that while in Avengers there was only one way to end well, in every Vivziepop show there is only one way to end wrong and the writers bend over backwards to achive it. Example s2 e9 the fallout would have been avoided if eighter one of them did some gesture different and s2 e11 where no one in the court has a brain.
In other shower thoughts, with season 2 ending we can finally say that Unhappy campers WAS THE MILLIE EPISODE ALL ALONG, yes, not Ghost fu- which btw was written by Brandon. Let that sink in...how much Viv cares about Millie.
It just struck me: ep 2, 5 and 6 are pointless, ep 4 ruined Striker, ep 11 is the worst written trial in fiction (THE TRIAL FOR STOLAS, NOT BLITZ, THEY CAN'T BE FOR THE SAME CRIMES!!!) and ep 12 excuses Stolas further.
I won't defend these remarks, however I left out the true worst episode of the entire show, the one every new watcher should skip because the wrtiitng is so bad that retcons the entire show before and even worse, after it. This episode should have his own medal alongside other boring episodes because it should not exist. Ladies and gentlemen, the worst episode of the entire show, because it spoils everithing else without ever being referenced once after its air, is...THE CIRCUS...
Also the pills were used as an excuse for Stolas behavior in full moon and I hate that. He literally cannot just be blamed for anything without an excuse to make his bad actions seem out of his control.

Blitz goes intp their encounters with no one and nothing to blame but himself. Stolas gets every excuse om the book, for his behavior and the writers break the lore/rewrite facts to make him an extra sad boy.
So many theories and videos pointed out the pills when the episode came out like "he went cold turkey on his meds no wonder he wasnt thinking right, Stella is peobably withholding them cause shes a bitch amd every flaw Stolas has is actually her fault"

And So by this point everything about the original show premise is long dead. Stolitz is Canon and official. Octavia is framed as “the bad guy” Stella is non-existent and known as 2 dimensional Evil bird), Andrelphous is hard to take seriously considering he could get his butt easily handed to him by a NO POWERS Stolas And then after Imp and a Hellhound (without Angelic weapons).
Dude got stomped out and then got smashed by an ice sculpture by a NO POWERED Stolas before I.M.P even did anything. Andrelphous is a joke.

I think it was Sarcastic Chorus who pointed out that Helluva Boss struggles with its themes of class inequality because the creators are so in love with the upper class. Stolas, Ozzy, and Bee are all part of the problem but we’re supposed to root for them because they have cool designs and fun songs. They can never be the bad people they are because the teams favorite characters aren’t allowed to actually be bad.
Bee is especially side-eye worthy. She's presented as being arguably the nicest of the Sins......until you remember that she rules over the Hellhounds. You know, that race of demons that the majority of Hell views as low-level grunts at best and pets at worst.
You'd think she'd take issue with how poorly her people are viewed (and unlike Satan intentionally creating the Imps to be slaves, we aren't told that Bee intentionally created to Hellhounds to be pets), but she never shows any real concern for it. In the "Mastermind" episode she speaks out on Blitzo's behalf, but has nothing to say about Loona being muzzled.
She throws parties for Hellhounds and has a Hellhound boyfriend, but horrible Hellhound orphanages/kennels like the one Loona is from are still able to exist. Bee's gotta have SOME authority over that stuff. I feel like Loona's initial resentment towards Bee should have been rooted in how the ruler of her people is throwing wild parties while she grew up in an awful shelter. But the writers couldn't make that the reason Loona didn't like Bee, because then that would imply that Bee is a bad person and a neglectful ruler, so they just made Loona jealous of her.
im a child of divorce and i want to put a little bit of perspective into octavia and why she may be mad at stolas, even when we as viewers see it as unjustified!! my parents are eerily similar to vias in the way that my father also cheated on my mother and i was completely on my mothers side because he was a distant father in the way that stolas is shown to be. but, i was also being manipulated by my mother to hate my father because she was an abusive wife and mother, and she was less upset about the cheating but more over being humiliated. because my mother spent more time with me and 'cared' about me more than my father did i believed that she was the 'good' parent and believed everything she said about my father blindly (i was also a teenager at the time). the way i view via is she loves her father but because (as we have been told) he is negligent and hardly spends time with her, stella might be feeding via misinformation about stolas that can be seen as worse than it actually is in reality. it's hard to say how much stolas even truly loves her because we see very little of both him and stellas parenting, so if he is worse than we have seen it would be easier for her to believe whatever stella tells her. idk i cant bring myself to dislike a teenage girl who seems so neglected by both of her parents that she is willing to stay with the one that she believes is in the right. she is just a misguided teenager, and i believe that when she matures she will hopefully see the situation as it really is. (im so sorry for the giant wall of text i just have so many thoughts about this show and how the fandom views her)

@Birdyboys oh i've seen those fans and they never analyze these situations realistically. i just wanted to add my own insight bc these characters portray irl problems but the show frames it as stolas continually being the victim. i'm also poor and lower class like blitzo and the imps so it irritates me to no end when ppl make excuses for his behavior.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Vivzie say in a Livestream somewhere that the character she likes writing for the least is Octavia? If that's true, imo that explains why Octavia is practically non existent in this show.

Honestly the whole Karen and the husband situation made me laugh and cringe hard. It felt like a desperate attempt to justify stolitz , again.
Think about it, same situation: There is a bitch wife for no reason, an uwu husband with his shinny armor sidekick and two daughters. I know it’s implied he probably didn’t cheat and she was exaggerating but still the scenes made me feel really uncomfortable, as if the show was trying to lobotomize me into justifying affairs under those conditions.
An affair will always be the shittiest choice someone can make, abuse relationship or not. Divorce people… DIVORCE as soon as you can!
To me those two episodes made me completely disinterested in HB as a whole. What Sarcastic Chorus said was correct about how this show takes the easiest and least challenging route to all it's conflicts where everything is just softened to the point that none of it really is the fault of either Blitzo or Stolas. Not to mention how bad the writing is on the villains. I do not like or am interested in any of them. They are all the same archetype we saw time and time again in this series. All that changes is design and who they antagonize. That's it.
After this two part finale I think I will fully stop watching HB and focus on my own writing of my AU of Hellaverse (which is mostly Song for the Quiet Bird fic and Torments of Sinners and Imps which is AU of that AU... it's weird). The story just took such bad turns. What especially grinds my gears is Octavia who is pretty much made up to be absolutely in the wrong and all her troubles are bogged down to misunderstanding where she is just dumb and has to learn how innocent Stolas is and how bad Stella is. This is not interesting. This is dull and lacks ANY sort of nuance. And I am sick of this writing. I am sick of this 'adult' show treating it's audience like they are kids that need to be told what to think.
Adult media is supposed to make you think. The serious ones I mean which HB TRIES to be and it FAILS. Miserably. It tries to have it's comedy and seriousness and balance it all, but it is a HARD thing to pull off. This team should have chosen what to focus on, but no. They just chose the path they are NOT GOOD prepared for. One piece of media that I say does perfectly what HB tries to do is Disco Elysium. That game is deep, it's funny, it's beautiful, it's sad. IT does everything right in terms of balance between comedy and drama. It knows when to have a laugh and when to sucked punch you. It knows how to make characters work in both ways. HB does not. And it's sad. Because Hell is so full of potential.
But I will stay with making my own thing where I try to explore that potential given that HB seems totally unbothered about improving or genuinely exploring any ideas it has. What a waste. I don't think I will watch HH season 2 either. Maybe just HB shorts. I've been in this fandom since before HH pilot came out and seeing it like this now... it hurts.
Your AU story is amazing so far! If anything deserves to be animated, it's your story! And I wish they had explored Octavia more in the episodes, showing the mistakes Stolas did and making him deal with the consequences. Octavia, Stella, Andrealphus etc. all deserve more complexity.
And I sadly only care about one villain at this point and I'm making a fic series for him.

Well, to be fair, it's implied they are doing better than they used to and Stolas lost his status so they got no money from him. Bt the class oppression defenitely has been put aside, rn it seems more like they will just "accept their place" like every other imp ever had to do
It's honestly frustrating how the entire first season set up a nuanced plot with compelling flaws in the characters, only to slowly strip those layers away to make them more sympathetic by the end of this one.
Stolas is by far the prime example of this. He went from one of the most interesting ones, as well as charismatic, only to slowly turn into "a precious baby who only wants love" while his actual bad decisions are either ignored or downplayed by making other characters seem worse than him or in the wrong in the case of Stella and Octavia, and even Blitz on occasion. I can't even say he's one of my favorites anymore because he lost all the qualities that made him interesting in the first place. It's clear that all the things that made the show worth investing in is long gone, and that's a shame because it started out really strong.
The death of the best character in the show... Yeah, I agree. I almost believe Stolas should have died even sooner, like when Striker tried to blow his head off that very first time. If people think he's bad, just imagine how they would miss the Goetic Prince if he faced an early demise. All of the flashbacks in season 2 with Stolas and Blitzø would suddenly mean much more, and the big guy wouldn't be alive to save the IMP crew when he would have, or be there for any of season 2. The date between he and Blitzø would have never happened. Blitzø might not have even followed Moxie and Millie at all, being too emotionally crushed to go after them, with Stolas permanently out of the picture. Still, season 1 episode 2 does unfortunately give a foreshadowing to his potential death at some point in the series.

After Sinsmas, I am officially done with Helluva Boss for good. I am not only mad, I'm very frustratingly disappointed. This show could've been great if it had just stayed with the original premise completely instead of this toxic fujoshi ship fanfic that has clearly dominated the story. Ever since Stolas became Viv's favorite, he ended up stealing the show in the worst way. I'm sorry, but this is where I draw the line.
There are a lot of better indie animated shows out there, but Helluva Boss, the way Vivziepop intended, isn't it.

I've gone on about how many horrible implications can be made about the show and it's characters when looking at this show through a moral perspective, but this is a new low. Helluva Boss unironically says that cheating on your spouse is "not that big of a deal" and is actually and fun and right thing to do (but only if it's gay). I can't express how absolutely livid that makes me other than saying that it has made me finally stick a fork in this propaganda for cheating and get it out of my life forever.

Isn't Octavia kind of trapped in the Goetia family's power structure right now, though? According to the banishment terms Stolas was given, Octavia is to take up his responsibilities in about a year(assuming the family thinks she will be ready for such responsibilities at 18). We see Andrelphus wields the title right now in her proxy, but outside the scheme the antagonists have, the family expects her to fulfill the role she was born into: the cautionary heir.
Stolas didn't just abandon her during the trial; he trapped her in the hell[haha] he was subjected to for years, minus the forced marriage(maybe). But because of the writing's heavy bias in Stolas' favor I doubt that will be addressed...
Also, Stolas chose to keep Octavia in the dark about her family's stability to give her as good a childhood as he could. [Side Note: I like how the story took this behavior of his and blew it up in his face when Via learns parts of the story.] It's kind of wild to take that and blame Octavia for not having all the cards in front of her when (unlike the audience) she is privy to very little information. I can slightly pass her behavior because she is a teen, and I expect emotion-led decision-making from teen characters. But I also understand why a lot of people find that scene off-putting, it wasn't the most enjoyable circumstance to watch unfold, tbh.
There are SO many issues, so you know what? I'm gonna talk about something I did like.
Satan is easily my favorite of the Sins. Unlike the others, he actually looks like an intimidating demonic monster, rather than an OC with a demon's name attached.
Making him all buff and muscular was also VERY much appreciated. So many of Viv's characters are quite lanky, and that makes them feel less powerful to me, even if they are tall.
His annoyed reaction to Stolas explaining himself ✨iN sOnG✨ was also perfect, and his part of the "Mastermind" song was the only part I liked (being voiced by Patrick Page certainly doesn't hurt). I especially liked the part where he stomps the ground so hard that it cracks because of how big he is. Mmmm! ❤

I think it's safe to say that Season 2 was easily the worst season so far. So many writing descisions that ruined the story, the woobification of stolas, and worst of all, The victim blaming of Blitz. I hated how they demonized Stella just for the sake of Stolitz, Like People like to coddle stolas because he was forced into an arranged Marraige but just seemingly forget that Stella Is just as much of victim in that relationship as stolas is. The biggest cases of how horrible season 2 is seeing stars and Unhappy Campers at least in my opinion, with the former just being a retread of loo loo land that we didn't need and Unhappy campers being an unbearable cringefest with Barbie Wire being the only good element in the ENTIRE thing. Speaking of Barbie Wire, Why couldn't she be in Apology tour instead of Stolas? Barb would have been a way better candidate for blitz to apologize to because of their History. There are way too many issues to list, but trust there are way more i could think of given time. I just hope that season 3 can rectify some of these writing mistakes, but then again, I probably shouldn't get my hopes up.

What bothers me about that whole thing with cheating being excused, and refusing the assassination job, is not just the pro-cheating weirdness, but it being used as a lesson on morality somehow is so wack. They're demons in hell (the imps), murdering people in cartoonish wacky ways...They're supposed to be amoral, to the point it's comical. If they wanted to tackle morality, Hazbin seems more fitting than the uh, office based comedy about demons of hell assassinating people on earth for money. From the start Helluva's setup tells us this won't be a serious show, or at the very least not a realistic one. Like there can be serious moments and plots, but this was not it. Its just silly nonsense that likely was only made up for the episode, so the "cheater" family could be compared to the "family" Blitz envisions having with his literal abuser (Lol)
Can we talk how ridiculous is Andealphus' accusation about Blitzø, like they are goetias, to them it should de ridiculous that an imp far below their power level would be even able to do such a thing without being obliterated or petrified like the one imp in loolooland

I quit the show since Episode 8 in fear that what I was dreading the show would do would keep going and that it wasn't some slick writing move that would turn itself unexpectedly around. The thumbnail alone basically confirmed my fears, I'm so disappointed yet happy I left before then.
I'll start with Sinsmas. Octavia is one of my favorite characters in the show. Why does the fandom treat her like she's done the worst of the worst??!! Would love to hear Stella sing as well. The Karen client was nothing more than a rule 34 merchant. We didn't even get to know how she died or whether or not she got cheated on. We finally got the I.M.P killing humans plot but they decided to not do the job due to Blitz seeing the family in his future vision which includes himself, Loona, Stolas and Octavia. This shot would've been so much more wholesome if they interacted way more. Loona had 1 conversation with Via. They haven't talked ever since. Blitz and Via rarely talked too so what the fuck is the point of this shot. It's just for the merch and "Awww's" from the fandom. We also have Millie being randomly pregnant. SERIOUSLY, VIVZIE??! You couldn't figure out how to properly develop one of your main characters so you decided to do this bullshit??!! I'm not trusting Viv with this plot because 9 times outta 10, it's gonna be executed poorly. Kudos to Mills for telling Sallie about her situation first since they're real close as sisters but I will say this. No matter how cute the baby is gonna be, I'm not supporting the pregnancy plot simply because 1. I know Vivzie is gonna fuck the plot up and push Millie aside in favor of it. 2. It just came outta nowhere with no proper buildup. Speaking of no proper buildup, when the Hell could Loona transform?? Why didn't we see this before the episode? If she could do this the whole time, then why was there no explanation for it?? Vivzie is of course gonna flock to Bluesky to explain the lore even though it could EASILY be in the show instead. Yes i know it's stressful to tackle 2 shows at once but still. Not everything has to be rushed and poorly written. Stolas whined for half of the episode. Cry me a river. He did it even more after Octavia called him out because he fucking deserves it! "But he's trying to be a better father" I don't give a fuck! Blitz didn't help either. "She'll understand eventually." Shut up, bro. You barely talk to her. I can't stand Stolitz. The fans constantly cream their pants over these 2 acting like they're meant for each other even though they don't know what they like or dislike. Smfh. Fuck the ship. All the merch and fanart ain't changing shit. The fight was so underwhelming and it had some of the cringiest lines to go along with it but seeing Andreaphlus get his ass beat before it was extremely satisfying to watch. Rare Stolas W. However, Andre should've died cause Loona literally bit off a part of his neck. Pretty sure when any part of the upper body is painfully exposed it leads to losing blood and eventually death. Why is he still alive? He serves no purpose in the show other than the fact that he's supposed to be Stolas if he stayed a villain.Get rid of him already, Vivzie. Overall, Sinsmas was just a meh episode that didn't feel like a season finale. Mastermind was a nothing episode too. Stolas sung his stupid song instead of actually confessing, the sins did next to nothing but talk with the exception of Belphegor and Leviathan since they don't have VA"s yet. Stolas got what he deserved at the end but oh my God they made Blitz such a pussy in this episode. Why are you babying a grown ass man around?? And why are you saying he's your heart if you literally called him out for having the relationship be all about sex in the episode Ozzies?? That's so dumb. With all that being said, fuck both episodes. Season 2 has been such a letdown and it's simply due to the fact that Vivzie has heart eyes for this awful ship causing it to take over the show entirely. I don't blame people ditching Helluva Boss at all because they wanted to watch for it's original premise, not this yaoi bullshit. "But the show isn't about the company. It's about Blitz." It's hardly even about Blitz!! Idk how season 3 is gonna go with 15 episodes but I already know it's gonna be even more frustrating than S2 because we know how Vivzie is. We'll see though. To me its the exact same as Twilight or Two Shades of Grey, just excusing horrible things for the sake of romance. Except Stolitz is getting excused because they're both traumatized or something and because its MLM its "cute"? I mean It happens on Webtoons too but still. What's funny about Stolitz though is that this story is based in hell, and still the writers can't recognize what they've written somehow. Excusing Stolitz also just adds nothing to the story and somewhat neuters it. Especially thematically!! Like Stolas is an abuser and a creepy ancient demon of the highest echelon (kinda), but... he's the one getting a happy ending? Like ok I guess 😂

The handling of Octavia annoys me too since it paints her as the antagonist and Stolas as the suffering protagonist who doesn't deserve to be cut off the way he was.
Octavia may be a child but she should have had a little bit of empathy for how Stolas was suffering just as she was...
...Though it seems that a lack of empathy seems to run in the family with the Goetia. Stolas lacks empathy for Octavia just as much as how she lacks empathy for him. Stella and Andrealphus only care about themselves, Paimon only cares about daddying...

A person who makes mistakes after mistake, prioritizing her own selfishness over her family (Aka becoming MAGA) and then apologizing, and yet she does the same shit. I disagree. Ozzie couldn’t have done more since he didn’t know the entire story. He could only give Blitzø and his crew a chance to defend themselves. The situation was out of his control.

This victim blaming of Blitz and Stella, the villanization of Via (some stans think of her this way), and woobifying Stolas and sidelining everyone to become props to the ship feels like the show is truly going downhill and it won't be fixed because of the type of writer that's in charge.
This video brought up some good points and I'm interested in that AU, it seems like something logical for Stella (who I hc as aroace who just wants to cohabitate and fulfill her duites to the Goetia, nothing more, nothing less) to do rather than just hate on Stolas blindly like some harpy or doing a stupidly animated laughing match with her brother about breaking a phone and making Via cry.
This show is just plain yaoi slop with a standom that blindly agrees with whatever writing choices are made, and I says stans cuz fans to me are the ones who are neutral and can question some things.
The fact that this whole show could've been so much more then what it is now. Since the end of Truth Seekers (that's where the actual shift from the premise happened) to where we are now is insanity. The pairing of 'Stolitz' as a whole is and always will be a cancer to what this show COULD'VE been and don't even get me STARTED on the show trying to vilify Octavia not forgiving Stolas who has every right NOT to forgive his ass.
This show is not good at character consistency. It would be very funny were it not so sad. We had Stolas go from a hilarious, pretentious but still well meaning father to a depressed sad sap who the show cannot hold accountable for anything that he does. It’s almost like for Vivzie as long as the character has trauma, that justifies everything they do and how shitty they treat people. She did it with Blitz, with Stolas and now somehow we’ve roped Via into the midst even though she has every right to be mad at her father.
I don’t even know what this show is anymore.
Honestly I've just decided to give up on this show entirely. Ever time I would critisize it it feels like im talking to a brick wall and here Im hoping for the chance for the wall to talk.... But then I gotta remind myself that the wall isnt sentient and its hopeless to even try to critisize it.
Its the fanbase itself however that made me leave. I said it before but I'll say it again. This fanbase is not only somehow more mysoginistic than Adam, but they try to gaslight other fans that *"nonono you see umm Stolas DIDNT coercively rape Blitzø because x, y, and z"* when what they should of admited that the show was flawed and season 2 sucks. Maybe then I would of stayed in the fanbase and still loved this show but like.... I cant anymore. The moment I took a break from this god awful show I felt happier and I'm keeping it that way. Its also not worth for fans to attack, dox, and victim blame people for honestly... :|

The opening of Mastermind isn't terrible. The only reason why Andre found out about the stolen grimoire was because of Stella telling him late and we both saw it. So, he used it to set up that kangaroo court.
The whole point was to demonstrate not only is hell very unfair to the lower classes as well as to reestablish order so the lower classes wouldn't get any idea about moving up in the hierarchy.
And while it may be interesting if Stolas had died it's much more to watch him lose everything and continue experiencing what it's like to be on the bottom of hierarchy.
And on a different topic Octavia has a right to be disgusted with her father and angry. Also, it's not as easy to just deal with a screwed up parental situation when you are living with it (and I'm speaking from personal experience).
Unless any of you how to deal with weird messed up parents and their problems being tossed on you, I recommend not being too judgemental.

This is the kind of constructive criticism needed from all fandoms for every series. Mistakes are being held accountable while highling the the postives in the hope that this will lead to the show being the best it can be!
I was such a huge fan of hb all throughout s1, but the moment s2 dropped I felt so betrayed and underwhelmed because these weren’t the nuanced characters I’d grown to love. Everyone was excused of their actions (especially Stolas because why would he ever be in the wrong🙄) and it was painful. I keep giving the show another chance to go back to how it was but it’s clear that it won’t. Millie’s pregnancy was the straw that broke the camels back for me. These writers do not have the tact or skill to tackle the topic of unplanned pregnancy, or frankly pregnancy at all.
At least, Exes and Oohs lacked the owl but the mafia background, even if hinted in the first episode of season one, was supposed to be a Angel Dust thing and not a Moxxie thing.
Also a imp bossing around loan sharks feels like the caste system doesn't mean squat.

I checked out of the season finale episode the moment Blitzo refused to do his job, I wanted to feel empathy but they couldn’t fool me, it was BS and I was like “no you can’t do this job because it reminds you too much of yourself and Stolas it’s because the writers are so goddamn woke they won’t punish any of their gay characters no matter how horrible they are” 😂
I think the reason they cranked Stella’s character up to psycho karen levels was not because they weren’t interested in making her a complex or relatable villain, but to make sure people would side with Stolas. Stella is evil because she is heterosexual, traditional, and doesn’t like cheating. It’s funny now the audience got mad she was done dirty, they liked her 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
EDIT: and damn, I had to revisit that episode just to confirm I had heard it right, but Blitz says cheating isn’t really a big deal anymore, it’s not actually him feeling called out, it’s the writer’s bias bleeding through the screen, LMAO they hate normalcy of any sort which is why the client is also made to be a completely obnoxious Karen for no reason other than “she disagrees with LGBTQ+”
