A wonderful man. He said 'I'm not that educated', No sir, you are filled with so much wisdom no school can give a man. God bless and enlarge your coast so many more times...Amen!

It would be great to have all of Mr. Akutu's comments on the screen for the benefit of foreign viewers.
It is rare to get a African farmer talk about his farming experience the way Mr. Akutu has done here.
    Thank you NTVUganda.

I had no idea, but cutting at an angle makes sense. I suppose you get more roots, so more tubers. Thank you for this fantastic advice.

    Thank you Brother Akutu
This video has been very educational for me as we also plant cassava here in Fiji in the Pacific.
I totally agree with your advise to youths and maximising what a small piece of land can give.

Thanks Mr Akutu for your video. Please could you let me know how many months (or how old) will the planted cassava be before cutting the cassava stems for sale or replanting. And to what advantage is this method of cutting the stems to the cassava tuber in the soil.

    Respected sir,
Many people don't know how to cut kassva with knife.
You put knife in circular motion from top to bottom. The skin will come out very quickly.
Second cut in four parts after removing skin and remove middle white parts . Wash it. Dry it in sun after two days use hammer to chop it.
Now you dry it and grind it at flour mill.
Chopping with round stones or hammer is good method but before chopping dry the kassva for two days.
You make mat with dry banana bark. You cut banana bark in half cut in longer pieces. Sun dry it on ropes and make basket or mat for sundrying purposes.
    Namh shivay.

Please send us cassava flour. The one we have here comes fermented, from Nigeria. It is impossible for us to eat it. Call it a different name like Mogo or Muogo flour so that the retailers don’t think that they are duplicating stork. Writing from UK

In Africa, especially Nigeria, Unemployment can be eradicated within a year without any type of Inflation. Unfortunately, too much theory has been allowed to overrun needed Practical! A year is enough to repair or Restart Nigeria Economy with or without Crude Oil Proceed! But excessive theory will insist they should go and plant a fresh Tree that will get matured in 20 years time before they can have Chewing stick that is readily available in their backyard! All we need to practically change Nigeria/Africa fortune for the better and start contributing better Values to the world are all available in Nigeria! Lovely Regards.
