- Two weeks ago, I asked you for your questions for a Q&A session. I got so many wonderful questions, thanks! I can't answer them all at once so here is the first instalment. I am grouping these questions by topic, not chronological order. Some questions relate to one another and make for a nice stream of ideas when answered together. If I haven't gotten to your question yet, it's nothing personal and I'm workin on it!

Awesome video, I love how in depth some of your other videos are but it's great that you cover some much so quickly here and reminds me of some of the material I've forgotten. Thanks Andrew!
Andrew, this video is "gold" to me. I have several harps to maintain and I now have a better idea of the general procedure you follow in tracking down common reed and plate issues. Keeping a set of harps operating in top form can be a daunting task. Note: the one harp that requires very little maintenance -- other than cleaning -- is the (MB) G harp you set up for me with your custom comb. Thanks for your valuable work!
Great video and precise explanations! The secret? Learn what it takes and how to do it, then work work work, until you get the result you want. That's what you also have to do to learn to play the harmonica, right?

Thank you for your answers. You helped me a lot to understand how I can see what my harp needs. If it's possible, could you make a video showing us how to fix or customize the specific hole 3 to get all bends easier?
Make the blow 3 reed gap smaller to make the draw 3 bends easier. That’s the simplest option, with reed shaping and slot embossing being the next steps.

Good afternoon, how to clean the harmonica with wooden body?
I am OLD and do NOT do FACEBOOK, etc. Can you tell me the optimum distance between a reed and reed plate, in THOUSANDS of an inch when embossing a reed slot? I've asked more than a few experts and have gotten only one reply!! That reply stated to basically get the distance as small as possible so that the reed can still vibrate freely....and that makes sense but my brain, unfortunately for me, desires an actual distance that can be measured - SORRY if this is a bother!! Keep up the good work!!
