I highly reccomend "Critical Acclaim - Live", its a great display of The Rev as well, the drummer who passed away (so far away was about him, he sang in this song too)
I love the passion. I would LOVE to see more A7X from you. Also consider giving Bloodywood -Aaj a try. Indian folk metal band which will also rock your socks off.
this live was done in 2007, they formed this band in 1999 but did their first album in 2001, they blew up after their 2003 and 2005 albums

@@gavinmcguffey huh? there's nothing there, you cant make a sound like that with a fully open vowel. He's making a normal mouth shape to produce a low note like that in the 2nd octave, in fact i think that might be through his nose, which he does quite alot in Afterlife and So Far Away. Also there's full concert fan-shot footage of this gig online. Also this isn't lip synced, since there is no track that these vocals are present on except for LBC. Also he changes many vowel shapes in this song in particular, and unless you think he recorded these vocals before then lip synced, which would make no sense, why not just sing them if he could record them? theres no tuning or post fx on the vocals present in this song, which usually you would do if you were making a lip sync track, not to mention he sings parts of these songs differently in every single live show, which wouldn't be possible if lip synced. In fact since this is a DVD release/ live album there is overdubs on the Rev due to him being pitchy and missing some parts, and tuning on zacky and syn's backing vocals. The only overdub that was done to Shadows voice in this entire gig was a small voice crack in bat country and the 1st and 2nd verse of Critical Acclaim (You can hear the difference from the fan-shot video vs the live dvd for that part) the rest of it is live feed, which should be obvious from just watching him. Look at the posture, engagement in his upper body and neck, vowel shapes all match, mouth shape etc. You don't do all that if you're lip syncing, not to mention how rare that is for this band. Yet to find an actual lip sync performance from them, even when matt was unable to finish some of their shows in 2018 when his voice completely broke, he still went on, no tracks no nothing, the fact that you can hear his voice change through the years each show is a testament to that.
This whole show is great... and the best part is you wouldnt have heard their best music put out since
