I don’t want or need a real estate agent. I love this process

Clearly this video was biased against iBuying. OpenDoor is the future of buying and selling your homes.

All of these technologies will get better with time. Once they fix all of the issues of maintenance and property information, then the app will be better to use. I can't wait to see the new technology when we will see a virtual realtor, and buyers will tour the home by themselves, with Augmented Reality technology explaining every aspect of the home.

Open Door simplifies the process, decreases cost and stress from the buyer side. Agents don’t particularly like this because they like squeezing every dollar for the buyer. Technology will revolutionize this, can’t fight it.

Agents don’t know anything about the property. It does cost the buyer something, I’m sorry you’re not getting 3% when I found the home and you did nothing other than paperwork. I appreciate the credit toward closing costs and glad realtors now have to win buyers business. The comment “it doesn’t cost the buyer anything” isn’t totally accurate. There are several realtors who offer credits toward closing costs when YOU the buyer are the one putting in as much effort and time to find the same home realtors are looking at. Hope Opendoor gets more and more business. Getting the 1% credit to me is worth it and not dealing with a realtor squeezing every dollar out.

I like this tech of opening the lock through app, you can see 10 homes over the weekend. In old cities like Boston where you have 100 year old homes, you may want a local agent who can do a quick inspection for you.

    Question---
I listed my house with a realtor at $420K, as Coming Soon. 1 day before Active , got a cash offer from OpenDoor for $460K. I was skeptical as I know these property cash buyers typically offer less than asking or market price.
So why would they offer 10% over? Us there a catch? I love the fast cash fast close and no appraisal

@@beccasmmrs this is a lie, I only had to pay 5% fee there is no catch. Opendoor is wiling to lose money ignorer to gain market share. There was no convenience fees, or service fees or repair costs, just a 5% fee to sell to them.100% recommend them

@@beccasmmrs you are a liar. They charge between 5-6 % in commission and if there are repair costs they’ll give you an itemized list.

Great video! Awesome content. I really hope Opendoor fades out. Getting back to the better and traditional way of selling and buying real estate with a professional.

Don't buy from opendoor! I just saw Opendoor manipulate Zillow's "Zestimate" price by $35,000 to justify their asking price! 2 exact same houses on same street have "Zestimate" value of $45,000 less! I saw "zestimate" price of house in question be $490,000 but day after Opendoor sign was put on front lawn the "zestimate price jumped to $525,000! Your going to overpay!!!!!

Lol maybe stop trying to get advice about a company from those being harmed by the company? This lady is clearly biased knowing that her job will get replaced by a company like opendoor in the next decade 😂
